11/04/2026: I went for my boyfriend's birthday. It's a super intimate and lovely place. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, as are all the staff. The food is truly excellent and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend it, especially the raw fish appetizer!

It wasn't anything I'd call exceptional, but everything was prepared properly, with good quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff was very friendly throughout the meal. We came with two regulars, and I think we'll be back. Excellent!

14/04/2026: Everything was very positive. We were two couples looking for the perfect place to spend an evening enjoying snacks and a refreshing drink. We ordered a spritz and a gin and tonic. To accompany the cocktails, in addition to chips, peanuts, breadsticks, and a delicious melt-in-your-mouth pancetta, we ordered a super platter filled with delicious delicacies. Frittini, cheeses, cold cuts, focaccia, and much, much more. Everything was fresh and very, very good. Did I say "very"? My only complaint is that I would highlight the prices better on the menus. Anyway, highly recommended, and... we'll be back soon! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

07/05/2026: I ate at Antica Trattoria La Grotta and I have to say I found the best love knots in the area: very thin pasta, rich, tender, and truly flavorful filling. The eggplant parmigiana was also excellent, as was the dessert. A truly positive experience.

22/02/2026: Highly recommended! The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, just like the dishes and the people who work there. A wonderful food and wine experience. Over two days, we ate tortelli with radicchio and Monte Veronese, bigoli with duck, risotto with duck, prosciutto and cheese, cavolo nero and cheese fondue tart, giardiniera, cotechino with pearà, and excellent wine. A warm greeting to Nico, Roberta, Gigi, and Giulia, who made us feel like family, as if we'd known them all our lives, even though we were just passing through for a weekend. 09/05/2026: Beautiful to look at, difficult to eat, the taste is irrelevant... I had a Giulio Cesare Chicken (double chicken cutlet). The bread is just there for show, probably from the supermarket. At the first bite, it falls apart and everything comes out. The cutlet (theoretically the tastiest part) is dry, tasteless, and very thin (more breading than meat...). The "taste"? It's the grease and oil from the fried food, which overwhelm any other component of the sandwich. There were 8 of us, and only 3 managed to finish the heavy sandwich. Food: greasy, fried, and re-fried. If you like fried food, you're in the right place. If you like to taste your food, this isn't the place. Service: Chaotic, and sometimes slow... once the sandwich arrived, another Coke Zero was ordered, but it didn't arrive until the sandwich was already gone... Cost: High, there are no sandwiches under €15, too high for what's served. I spent over €30 for something I didn't even get halfway through. For the same money, you can definitely eat more and better elsewhere. Ambience: Overall, it's nice, but it lacks identity.

04/06/2026: A well-deserved 5 stars: the most important thing is that the food is good and the portions are generous. The other aspects, certainly not secondary, are the ambiance and the service, both excellent. I like variety, but I think I'll definitely be back!

27/05/2026: Authentic Veronese cuisine, time-honored dishes, authentic flavors, a feast for the palate, a feast of aromas. A highly prized restaurant with an ancient underground cellar. Refined atmosphere, exceptional courtesy. Fast and impeccable service. The tagliatelle with salterino (river fish) smoked directly on site are excellent. Cod pie, Venetian-style pasta and beans, polenta... and finally tiramisu; all top-notch. Must try!

15/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, beautiful, elegant, and beautifully set. We were a group of twenty-eight friends. The group menu was tasty, plentiful, and very well prepared. The prices were fair. The staff were kind and attentive. Compliments to the owner, Adriano.

10/05/2026: We spent a super special day here for our daughter's first communion. The service was impeccable, the food was extremely high-quality and plentiful. All our guests were super happy, everything was truly excellent. A special thanks to Adriano, who was always available for anything. We'll be back soon.

It's one of those places where you can immediately tell they've been doing well for years, with a solid approach and no need to prove anything. The staff is one of its strengths. Polite, approachable, and very friendly, they immediately make you feel at ease. The service is fast and well-organized, with no unnecessary waits and constant customer attention. The pizza is truly good. Well-made dough, quality ingredients, and a final result that fully satisfies. You can taste the experience behind what's served, and that's precisely what sets it apart from other places. Overall, it's a restaurant that's been around for a long time, and it shows. Personally, I was extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place to eat well and feel treated with simplicity and professionalism.

11/06/2026: I just finished eating there and it was delicious. The service was fast, and the restaurant was quite calm. We took 1 medium cottoleta italiana and 1 carbonara spaghetti that we shared for 2. The quantity was well enough. The cottoleta was perfectly cooked and wasn't dry at all, I would 100% recommend trying one of the variations of it. We also shared a tiramisu for the dessert that was really good. Overall the total was 40€ for 2 with 2 dishes, 1 water, and 1 tiramisu.

17/05/2026: Wonderful Italian restaurant with delicious food. Unlike other opinions I read, the staff was super friendly and also open to speak in English (as I do not speak Italian), when they noticed my mother tongue was Spanish, they sent a native Spanish speaker from the staff to take the order. Everything from starter to desert was delicious and perfect. The lasagna was probably the best I've ever had, and the octopus salad was delicious as starter. The restaurant is far away from the crowded touristic zone, but in any case gets full at lunch and dinner time, so if you want to eat here without a reservation, better arrive early (we arrived at 12:30 and it was almost empty, but when we left at 2, it was completely full). I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I return to Verona for sure will come back to eat here again.
