Una location che non conoscevo, finché un amico mi a fatto conoscere, e mi a consigliato i Bigoli alle sarde , polenta con Lucio vino acqua caffè, tutto di ottima qualità 😋 da ripetere sicuramente.

Sep/Oct 2023 - I have stayed at Al Pontesel 8 times since my last review and am delighted to report that the property still manages to retain the charm and traditional Italian hospitality which I found when I first visited several years ago. The food is as wonderful as ever and the restaurant is popular with locals, Italians and overseas visitors searching for a typical, non touristic menu with reasonable prices. It is refreshing to stay in a property that holds onto traditional values and I would highly recommend it to those seeking a comfortable, spotlessly clean, friendly place to stay in a peaceful location with free parking less than 10 minutes walk from the busy lake front. Recent upgrades to some of the rooms have added value to the property but rates remain extremely attractive. October 2021 - After a two year covid-enforced absence, I returned to Al Pontesel and was delighted to be allocated a spacious room with a large terrace facing the lake. The warmth of the welcome back and the hospitality which I received from management and staff throughout my stay was amazing and reminded me what a very special place this is. Although there are plenty of options for dining out in Garda, I chose to eat at Pontesel most nights as the menu offers an excellent choice of typical local dishes at very reasonable prices. As mentioned in my earlier reviews, I would highly recommend this friendly, traditional and attractively priced property in one of the most beautiful towns on Lake Garda. October 2019 - Al Pontesel is a refreshingly non touristic property offering traditional Italian hospitality, service and excellent food in the restaurant ...at very reasonable prices. The location and free/spacious on site parking is an added bonus. Cannot praise the property highly enough.

Die Einrichtung ist etwas veraltet aber dennoch sehr sauber, man kann sehr Preiswert gutbürgerlich Essen. Freundliches älteres Personal. Gerne wieder

Absolutely underrated place! We randomly chose to stop here to escape the traffic jam in Garda. Plates are simple, but everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and really delicious! Staff is super nice! Definitely a better choice than tourist traps in the city centre.

Angenehm ruhige und für die Provinz typische Trattoria mit gut überschaulichem Angebot auf 2 DinA4 Seiten. Alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet, die Küche kann vom Innenhof aus eingesehen werden. Mir haben Prima Patti die Nudeln mit Muscheln und Secondo Piatti die frische Leber mit Gewürzen der Region, dazu ein Insalata Mista sehr gut geschmeckt. Wein gibts nur in einer Literkaraffe, für Single-Reisende etwas zuviel, aber sicher lässt sich mit der Wirtsfamilie darüber reden. Birra alla Spinna war meine Wahl, bei dem sehr heißen Wetter im Juli auch vermutlich die bessere für mich. Der Espresso hinterher schmeckte mir wesentlich besser, als in den meisten Cafés unten im Ort Garda, insofern kann ich den Ausflug vom See den Berg hoch (ca. 15 min zu Fuß) in jedem Fall empfehlen für ein leckeres und entspanntes Abendessen, etwas ab vom touristischen Rummel. Die Preise fand ich angemessen und günstig für die Region, den Service zugewandt und freundlich. Auf deutsch und mit meinem kleinen italienischen Wortschatz wurde ich gut verstanden. Gerne komme ich wieder. Abendessen von 19-21.30h Montag Ruhetag Parkplatz davor vorhanden.
