A well-deserved 5 stars: the most important thing is that the food is good and the portions are generous. The other aspects, certainly not secondary, are the ambiance and the service, both excellent. I like variety, but I think I'll definitely be back!

Authentic Veronese cuisine, time-honored dishes, authentic flavors, a feast for the palate, a feast of aromas. A highly prized restaurant with an ancient underground cellar. Refined atmosphere, exceptional courtesy. Fast and impeccable service. The tagliatelle with salterino (river fish) smoked directly on site are excellent. Cod pie, Venetian-style pasta and beans, polenta... and finally tiramisu; all top-notch. Must try!

The bigoli with duck and the tortellini with butter and sage are excellent. The stortina with polenta is special. Very fair prices and excellent value.
Highly recommended for those who want to sample traditional Veronese cuisine.

We were truly fortunate in our search for a restaurant in Verona: discovering La Bersagliera was a stroke of luck and taste.
We tasted dishes that showcase tradition with impeccable care: the creamed cod was marvelous, the bigoli simply wonderful, prepared with that mastery that makes all the difference.
The staff was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, always able to recommend the best and guide us through fresh and authentic dishes.
It was such a pleasant experience that it has now become a regular stop: we won't come to Verona without returning here.
A restaurant that wins you over from the first bite.

We ate very well, not in large portions, but be careful with the assorted cheeses on the plate: a single piece of cheese with 2 slices of polenta costs 15 euros... perhaps Wednesday is a day off for the chef....

I visited for lunch.
I love Amarone wine, and I've always longed to try Amarone risotto, a local dish of Verona, which is one of the reasons I decided to go to Verona.
When I looked at the menu and saw that Amarone risotto wasn't on it, my mind went blank for a moment (lol). I begged them to make it for me, saying, "I really want to eat it!" 🥲 The result was incredibly satisfying. It was so delicious and I was so happy I cried! There's absolutely no other risotto with such a rich flavor. Of course, it paired perfectly with Amarone. It was truly a blissful time... I'm so glad I mustered the courage to ask for it.
The marinated salmon was also delicious, with a cut that's not very common in Japan, making it very satisfying.
The waiter seemed to have studied in Japan in the past and spoke fluent Japanese. He kept coming over to ask, "How is it? Is it delicious?" The price of the Amarone was also reasonable. We were planning to eat dinner as well, so we kept it moderate, but it was quite affordable at €76 for two people.
I want to go again!

I had lunch here with my parents and friends for both of my graduations... the atmosphere was pleasant, quiet, and not at all chaotic, the service impeccable, and the food excellent. Five stars are still too few!
