01/01/2026: Don't let the atmosphere get in your way. We have been traveling for 2 weeks eating local in Germany and Italy. Needed a break and found this place coming from the train station. We eat a lot of Indian food back home in Washington state. Highly recommend stopping in for a great lunch or dinner before catching the train to your next destination.

06/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! We tried the mixed antipasto platter, which was delicious and plentiful. Then a first course, delicious! The pasta was all homemade; mine was with mushrooms, my partner with duck ragù. The desserts were large and delicious. The atmosphere was quiet and the staff were friendly. We dined on a Sunday evening in a lovely covered outdoor area.

11/05/2026: My partner and I had a great time. The food was authentic, the portions perfect, and the location is worth it because it's quiet and the renovated building retains its historic charm. Very good service.

07/06/2026: I can offer super people who work for a fixed menu lunch, exceptional for dinner, super pizzas but super super super spaghetti allo scoglio, we can make a lot of it, ok, super good, super dish, super price, then homemade desserts, everything is exceptional

01/05/2026: Brought here for lunch by some colleagues, it was a lovely discovery. Both a set menu and an à la carte are available at lunchtime. The set menu includes a choice of two first courses, two second courses, and some side dishes. I would have preferred a brighter atmosphere, but I enjoyed the meal. The staff were friendly and professional. Saved to my favorites, I've recommended it myself.

30/05/2026: Osteria da Maria Rosa, a guarantee. We, who work for a nearby company, often go there during our lunch break. The food is excellent, the service is super fast given our limited time, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

26/12/2025: I'm speechless, dirty, dirty, poorly maintained counter, very rude staff who mind their own business and the people waiting, an hour for a slam dunk, people with children who had been waiting for hours... poorly managed place... The one in Florence is better.

16/05/2026: A very lively wine bar with delicious little snacks (it was full, so reservations are a must). The wine selection is fantastic. I highly recommend Speri Sant Urbano! Friendly service. It's becoming my regular spot in Verona.

15/05/2026: Had dinner at Antica Bottega del Vino and overall the experience was just okay, but it didn’t fully meet expectations. The carpaccio had a very nice presentation, but unfortunately lacked flavor and felt quite bland. The Amarone risotto and the beef cheek were both enjoyable and probably the highlights of the meal—well prepared and tasty—but not particularly memorable or outstanding. They do have a very extensive wine list, which is impressive, although it seems more oriented toward a high-spending clientele, with most bottles starting at around €70 or more. Service was probably one of the weaker points. The staff did their job correctly, but without much warmth or enthusiasm—it often felt like they simply didn’t want to be there. There also seemed to be a sommelier, but the interaction was very limited to just taking the wine order. Given the restaurant’s reputation and wine focus, I expected more engagement, recommendations, or guidance. The atmosphere also felt quite touristy, which took away a bit from the authentic experience I was hoping for. Not a bad restaurant, but considering the reputation and prices, I expected something more special.

12/05/2026: We ate our first pizza in Italy here and we were very satisfied! Upon request, they also made a salami pizza with regular salami for my son, as the menu only listed a spicy one. Even in bad weather, the outdoor seating area, overlooking the water, is very pleasant and allows you to enjoy your meal.

20/05/2026: Delicious food. The spaghetti frutti di mare is the best. The atmosphere is also lovely and the service is attentive.
