18/03/2025: Unfortunately Scabin seems to have exhausted his creative streak, or more likely the desire to carry it forward. The current menu is almost entirely a re-proposal of dishes already seen and enjoyed at Combal. Good? Undoubtedly. But from a genius like that, with whom I have had some of the best dinners of my life, one expects much more than a mere, honestly lazy revival of his classics. Or if you want to propose them, that's fine, but as an alternative to a much more ambitious tasting.

12/12/2024: Fantastic experience!!! I spent a magnificent birthday in this restaurant with my partner... Creative food, unusual combinations that lead to tasting flavors you've never tried before and the friendliness and joviality of the chef to crown it all!!! Not least the dining room staff. They too are truly impeccable, professional and friendly. Absolutely recommended

05/04/2025: The place in the center of Verona, a stone's throw from the arena, is very suggestive both in terms of location but above all for the atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and nice, polite and helpful. The Amarone risotto was good, I had never tried it before so I have no means of comparison, the tagliatelle with mushrooms were very, very good, the flavor of the mushrooms was strong and decisive.

02/04/2025: Top quality pizza. Extremely digestible even for problematic stomachs like mine. Lactose intolerant, I asked the Pizzaiolo if he had lactose-free mozzarella, and in a rare case he did!! The best time to arrive is 6:00 p.m., when people who live and work in Pienza start arriving, and you can always strike up a conversation. After the cathedral bell rings 8 times, the happy hour ends, and then it’s time to go to a restaurant. Great atmosphere and an exceptional view of the Val D’Orcia.

Really good. Excellent food and compliments to the chefs and all the dining room staff. Great food with flavours, tradition and cooking. We will be back to visit you for sure. Maximum.

16/03/2025: Mostly positive experience. The place is very nice, the girls and boys of the staff are very kind and polite. We had booked for midday, I called to warn them that we would be delayed, we arrived half an hour later but we were still greeted with kindness, courtesy and a big smile by one of the girls. Fairly quiet place, we were definitely the two of us who were the noisiest. Having sat down at the table, we were immediately brought the menu, the dishes not excessive in quantity but still giving the possibility to choose, even for those, like me, who don't eat meat. Ordered, the wait was short and as soon as the dish arrived the first impact was very positive, both in terms of aesthetics and the olfactory side. Once bitten it was poetry for the palate. The cuisine is excellent, praise to the chef(s). And congratulations to the staff too. The only flaw... the cover charge at €4.50 is excessive. Overall, however, I recommend the restaurant.
