All'antico Vinaio - Verona In Verona

A famous spot in Verona, and deservedly so. They serve you quite quickly despite being busy, and the prices are very reasonable; you can fill your belly with delicious food. The focaccia was amazing, and the filling was perfect. Without a doubt, if I return to Verona, I'll stop by for one or more.

Fantastic focaccia sandwiches. Fast service. The restaurant is large (2 floors) with a bathroom and plenty of tables. Mortadella with pistachios and Caprese salad.

Street food, very good and carefully prepared. Served quickly, staff is very friendly.

The sandwiches are still incredibly delicious and huge, and there are also good vegetarian options. However, the place has changed quite a bit in recent years – it's much more touristy and commercial than before. The special charm it once had is somewhat lost, and it now feels more like Italian fast food. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a really good focaccia.

The food is absolutely amazing. However, the service could be much better organized. When we visited around 3:00 PM, there was no queue, yet the ordering process was still confusing. The cashier told us that the person preparing the sandwiches would call us based on what we had ordered, but that didn’t happen. We later realized that we were supposed to tell the staff what we had ordered so they could prepare it. We also noticed several other customers struggling to understand the system. Customers cannot be expected to already know how the ordering process works, especially since this is not a small local bakery, but a well-known focacceria that presumably welcomes many tourists. A little more organization wouldn’t hurt. I visited the same place in Rome, where they had much larger crowds, yet everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Regardless, I would still recommend visiting because the food is absolutely worth it.
