Good food, excellent value for money

We had a great lunch experience today at this beautiful, traditional trattoria! We were in Verona for three days, and this was the best meal! We ordered four appetizers because we wanted to try the traditional dishes we were missing, and we finished them all 🤣 Plus, two delicious first courses and an excellent chocolate salami. I never find it in restaurants, nor was I thrilled! (I'd recommend accompanying it with a scoop of gelato or a little whipped cream.) Finally, the friendly and attentive service from the lovely owner and the excellent reservation process, super convenient because you can do everything online. I would absolutely recommend it! If you're looking for the true flavors of tradition in Verona, this is undoubtedly the place to be. ​We started with spectacular first courses: the bigoli with duck sauce was exceptional, flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The potato gnocchi with Pastissada de caval was a true triumph; the meat was so tender, and the sauce paired beautifully with the delicate gnocchi. ​Next, we had a slice of beef: incredibly tender, flavorful, and impeccably cooked. As a side, we were served a small plate of fresh seasonal vegetables and a delicious potato dish, which rounded out the meal perfectly. ​To accompany everything, a bottle of water and a half liter of house wine, which turned out to be truly excellent and perfect for enhancing the robust flavors of the dishes. ​The real surprise? The bill! The quality-price ratio is absolutely top-notch. Generous portions, top-quality ingredients, and very fair prices for Verona. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. ​Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Perfect place in every way, from the welcome to the food and drinks. Booking is easy on their website. Located outside the tourist area, it's perfect for a quiet dinner and a relaxing atmosphere.

We had a wonderful meal, traditional Veronese cuisine, excellent cod, and a good selection of wines. The wait staff was extremely kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended! We ate excellent traditional dishes in a renovated and very charming cellar. The price was fair for what we ate (€20-30 per person). If we ever visit Verona again, we'll definitely return.
