23/06/2025: Waren gestern zum Mittagessen in diesem Lokal. Das Essen war wieder überwältigend. Es gibt sicher am ganzen Gardasee kein besseres Restaurant!

24/05/2025: Siamo stati la scorsa settimana io e mia moglie per un nostro anniversario dove abbiamo provato un' esperienza culinaria unica, ingredienti di prima qualità stagionali, e molti prodotti del territorio. Gli abbinamenti sono studiati con grande esperienza dallo chef Alex. Cosa dire, di più si nota la professionalità, Alex sempre cordiale nel descrivere ogni piatto e il vino abbinato. Sicuramente per chi vuole assaggiare finalmente delle ricette speciali diverse dalla solita cucina tradizionale. Locale internamente molto curato, esternamente si trova in un complesso residenziale tranquillo ma niente di particolare, non adatto per famiglie con bambini avendo avuto due figli piccoli, visto la tranquillità dell'ambiente. Tutto comunque eccezionale, bellissimo ricordo sicuramente appena potremo torneremo.

16/03/2025: Trovato, su consiglio di amici abitudinari al Vinitaly di Verona, e che dire... soddisfattissimi. Qualità del cibo eccelsa.... Abbiamo bevuto un Valpolicella strepitoso. Antipasto di qualità, e dei Bigoli all'anatra e tartufo da urlo. Il prezzo è in linea con la qualità. Servizio eccellente. Al prox giro in quel di Verona sarà una tappa fissa.

11/03/2025: Tornati da Ugo sabato a pranzo. Sempre tutto ottimo! Radicchio e gratinato al formaggio e sarde in saor per antipasto e pappardelle con ragù di agnello buonissimo Ottimo vino rosso valpolicella superiore ripasso. Sempre consigliato!!

01/09/2025: Spacious and well-kept environment, with a young staff and fast service! Tasty pizzas, original desserts and excellent value for money! Very good!

18/08/2025: Large space with parking right in front. Comfortable, modern atmosphere. We had two excellent pizzas. Excellent dough and perfect cooking. The ingredients were truly top-quality.

11/09/2025: Last night I went with six other friends for a girls' night out. We booked a table for 8 PM and after our first drink, we ordered food. The pinsas were delicious to share and the mixed fried fish was delicious and light. The non-alcoholic appetizers were very good, and there was a wide selection of wines. We took advantage of the mild temperatures to sit outside. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept. The waiters were very kind and attentive. I highly recommend it.

27/08/2025: YOU DON'T MAKE A CAMPARI SPRAY WITH MARTINI ROSSO!!! CRIMINALS!!! You have to tell them you used a different product than the one requested. Then, out of two orders, two were wrong. When we asked to change the wrong drink, they forgot to bring it...

07/09/2025: Rude waiter, my mom fainted in front of the bar and I took a chair without asking because of what happened and the agitation and the waiter took the chair away from her without even giving her time to recover.

03/09/2025: Today I tried to eat here at AL CANTON I don't speak Italian or English, but I try to make myself understood in one of the two languages. But a waiter in a tourist spot right in the center of Verona doesn't even try to make us understand, and on top of that, his attitude is disrespectful to customers who don't speak his language but are trying to make themselves understood. And on top of that, when we tell him we're leaving, he doesn't ask for our orders. He and his colleagues tell the waiters in the neighboring restaurants not to serve us. So, in the end, they and the restaurants next to them lost. We ate very well in another place further down. They were the ones who lost. Arrivederci!!!

14/07/2025: I'm stopping on my way to Cerea. Excellent gelato. There's a large covered terrace with chairs where you can enjoy your gelato while sitting down. It's not for snobs or snobs. It's for normal people who have families and have known what it means to be in court their whole lives. You can judge it however you want. But one important thing is that the products are excellent. A treat and gelato. Period. If anyone is willing to help someone who truly deserves it, then stop by, be kind, because they're good people. Eat some good gelato. Hang out and chat with the owner. And, as they used to say, a good family man.

29/04/2025: The ice cream is good, a real shame that the owner ruins everything. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and the door was already closed. I walked all the way there to eat an ice cream and even though I asked to come in, the owner looked at me without replying, waiting for me to leave, even though I went there practically every evening. We were also kicked out of the restaurant because we were speaking even in a moderate tone just because a customer in the restaurant was making a phone call (which he could easily have made outside). Very rude and unwelcoming, I give one star because this is the worst among the ice cream shops in the area (and trust the reviews that complain about the rudeness).

20/05/2025: I am not biased, even though I have known this establishment for 25 years. I was lucky enough to sit and become a good family friend with the owners (Mirko's mother and father). They told me the origin and how the name Sasso was born. Obviously they are providing for the modernization of the rooms floor by floor, but as far as breakfast is concerned: between bekon, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, and so on and so forth. For dinner he has always been a lover and expert of top quality ingredients, great chef another milestone and the kitchen and impeccable dining room assistant, in addition to the excellent wines. I highly recommend it also for the quality/price ratio. May God bless the current management and their work. Hotel Sasso, the best....

14/07/2025: Excellent ice cream shop. Traditional flavors and more. Excellent sorbets. Kudos to the zuppa inglese.

28/06/2025: Good ice cream but overpriced, a real shame. The really disappointing thing is the portions; they give you a scoop of microscopic dimensions which, honestly, I consider a joke.

02/08/2025: Vi bestilte vann med en gang vi satt oss, fikk ikke vann før servitøren om lenge kom og ville ta bestilling. Da bestilte vi to carbonara, hvorav den ene måtte være glutenfri på grunn av cøliaki. Servitøren kunne knapt svare på spørsmål vedrørende glutenfritt, og ble tydelig oppgitt og irritert over spørsmål. Samtidig med bestilling av maten bestilte vi en spritz og ett glass rødvin. Lenge etter bestilling kom servitøren med vann og spritz, før hun irritert forsvant. Jeg måtte gå inn til manageren på stedet og etterspørre rødvinen min, og da kom servitøren og unnslyldte seg med at hun hadde glemt bestillingen. Manageren var ikke særlig imøtekommende eller interessert i å skape en bedre opplevelse for oss. Gjør oppmerksom på at dette stedet skriver i sin meny som en gimmick at alle kunder skal være fornøyd, og at de ber kunder si ifra med en gang dersom det skulle være noe - slik at de kan gjøre kunden fornøyd. Dette er første gang jeg har sett en meny med en slik oppfordring, og da blir det ekstra tåpelig å bli møtt med så elendig kundeservice. Maten var OK, veldig salt. Sure ansatte. Her tjener de penger bare på lokasjonen sin, og trenger ikke bry seg. Ikke bryr de seg heller.. Vil fraråde dette stedet. Det finne så mange bedre steder i Verona at det blir for dumt å legge igjen pengene sine her..

02/07/2025: Tuvimos una experiencia agradable aquí con buena comida y un personal amable y acogedor. Aunque se trata de una zona muy turística, el café tenía un ambiente local y bueno.

09/09/2025: Beach club just steps from Garda. The beach is always tidy and clean. Comfortable umbrellas and loungers at reasonable prices. A pleasant, youthful atmosphere. Fast bar service. Excellent and plentiful mixed fried fish. The perfect place to share an aperitif on the beautiful pier. On weekends, you can dance and listen to great music with a DJ set.

07/09/2025: Nice bar, good drinks, but a bit expensive. Unfortunately, the staff were a bit annoyed that afternoon even though it wasn't busy.

10/08/2025: Discovered this pizzeria by chance one evening during a family outing. A simple and quiet place reminiscent of old-fashioned taverns, excellent in its simplicity. We had a delicious pizza, but the grilled rib eye steak and cutlet were also special, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly and polite; Silvia served us, attentive to everything and very friendly. Excellent value for money.

31/07/2025: A pizzeria and restaurant, not just a hotel... a place that smells like home... Renata is a wonderful hostess with a smile for everyone, healthy food and fabulous pizzas with light dough and a variety of toppings... the young and knowledgeable wait staff... well, what are you waiting for? You have to go visit them and eat whatever you like. Bye!

04/09/2025: This was the first time in my life when I took one bite of food and gave it straight away back. It was the worst food I have eaten in my whole life. I took lasagna bolonese, the taste was the worst. And the pasta - which is in the foto is the carbonara. Also brought back to the kitchen. Overall 42€ for an eaten cheese cake and two beers. 100% not recommend.

13/07/2025: The cappellacci with speck, brie, radicchio, and porcini mushrooms are FABULOUS. The staff is attentive and fast. The location is excellent.

20/06/2025: The location is undoubtedly very touristy. The charm of Piazza Erbe is indisputable. Osteria la Torre is one of the many tourist places, you can tell from the menu offered. The dishes are decent, however. The mixed fry was excellent. The service was very good. Roberto was very friendly and attentive to our needs. A place to try for a nice evening in the city center. Response to the owner's comment: I absolutely did not get the place wrong. We had booked through TheFork. The review I made is absolutely correct.

04/04/2025: Typical family-run trattoria, I tried their spaghella, a similar paella made with spaghetti. I must say very appreciated and satisfying. The steak was also very good. The owner who served us was extremely kind and helpful. Simple but clean and tidy place. I will come back to try their pizzas!
