29/10/2025: A bistro located in a charming little square in the northern part of Verona's city center. Good food, especially the rice creamed in amaretto. Prices are moderate, and it's recommended for a quick outdoor lunch.

23/09/2025: We discovered Bar al Porto as a place where we could relax in the afternoon and enjoy a snack and a drink. The menu offers a wide selection of both drinks and food; they even have Hoegaarden on tap, highly recommended – and served in truly unusual glasses! As for snacks, we particularly enjoyed the Foccaccina Galeone. The staff was also very friendly – ​​we will definitely come back here on our next stay in Torri!

23/11/2025: We ate here with a small group of friends. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, the food is good, especially the dessert. The only downside is the service, perhaps one of the worst I've ever experienced: cold and rushed, it almost feels like a nuisance.

16/08/2025: We chose this hotel on the long holiday route, for its calm, its park, its swimming pool and its generous breakfast. What a surprise when we realized that the hotel was privatized for a big birthday party: DJ, about sixty adults and children on the dance floor, loud music from 4:00 p.m., shouting, noise, large tables everywhere... in short, we were unable to enjoy the shaded terrace, the park or the swimming pool, and obviously unable to rest. Breakfast disastrous: no bread, no pastries, no butter, no eggs, no cold meats, no yogurt: a few rusks, biscuits and a defrosted cake. Add to that the dishonesty of the owner because I forgot an item, I offered to pay for the return, she said she couldn't find it... too bad. Avoid

07/10/2025: Great location directly on Lake Garda. About a 15-minute walk from the center of Garda. The ambiance is fantastic. There's no comparable bar on the lake. Service is attentive and fast. The small kitchen is at its limit during peak hours. But the bresaola/arugula portions are very good, and the price/performance ratio is good. Friday night parties are great. On Saturdays, it's sometimes completely overcrowded. Sunbeds aren't cheap at €10 on Saturday and Sunday. But the feeling right on the lake is simply fantastic. We come here often. Today, October 1, 2024, is our last visit this year. 😪. We'll be back again from Easter 2025. 👍

30/11/2025: On our way back from the Ten Capitals walk, which I recommend, two of us, with a reservation, had lunch at this restaurant. Our first impression was immediately positive. It's an old cellar with a vaulted ceiling; the tables are well-spaced and well-set with classic red checked cotton tablecloths—kudos to them for avoiding napkins and non-woven fabrics. The bathrooms are clean; the only drawbacks are a certain darkness and poor acoustics; the echo is noticeable and, if there are a lot of customers, it can even be annoying and hinder conversation. The young waiters were very kind and attentive, especially a particularly friendly and cheerful brunette: well done, keep it up! We opted for the house antipasto of cured meats and the one with baby cuttlefish and polenta. Both were good and plentiful, and served quickly. At most, I would have added a little salt to the cuttlefish. Next, we had risotto with Amarone, which, as correctly stated on the menu, requires at least 20-25 minutes to cook. The risotto was certainly good, but not the best I've had, and considering it costs €15, I think it could have been more generous. The two desserts were good, but not unforgettable: the panna cotta and the apple crumble cake, the latter not particularly generous. The restaurant has a good wine list, mostly local, and you can also, in addition to the house wine, opt, as we did, for glasses, with three or four options each for red, white, and dessert wines. The white wine, a Soave Pra, was very good; the Valpolicella was average, and finally, the glass of Recioto from the Monteforte cooperative was truly excellent. The prices per glass were more than reasonable, and the two coffees were good. We spent a total of €80, a fair price considering the Amarone risotto is significantly more expensive than the other first courses. I was satisfied with the restaurant; the food is good, there's a good selection, and it has character. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Reservations are recommended, as it gets quite crowded, especially on Sunday lunchtime.

24/10/2025: A very convenient location for those looking for accommodation outside Verona, with a nice shopping center across the street. You can have lunch and dinner served by Alberto, a very kind and helpful person. His wife is an excellent cook, capable of preparing exceptional first courses and delicious second courses using local vegetables. What's even better is the very reasonable price.

21/10/2025: We had a late afternoon aperitif, with about 15-20 people. We used the outdoor space, and everything was perfect, from the food to the service.

24/08/2025: Very kind staff, we asked for two chocolate croissants and unfortunately they were only empty, the very kind bartender told us that if they wanted he could add Nutella, it's not every day that you find such kind people, I will definitely come back to you!!

30/11/2025: Nice English pub-style venue. There was live music this evening (even though it's small, the acoustics weren't bad). I sat at the bar and it was nice to see the bartender making cocktails and drafting beers. The only downsides were seeing the carafes being prepared with too much ice. It felt like a drink for 2-3 people, but diluted with ice, 10 people could drink it (I understand you can't make a dry cocktail, but even a little less would have been better). Another downside was the price: €6 for a small Guinness, the same price as the medium red my friends had. I understand the special feature of the beer, the dedicated draft, but in other small breweries, if I've paid that much at the bar, it was €4 maximum.

08/11/2025: I celebrated my graduation aperitif here, and it was truly perfect! Lots of food, all delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and helpful. The welcoming and relaxed atmosphere is perfect for celebrating with friends. Highly recommended!

28/10/2025: I had booked for 10 people, the next day they called me to cancel and leave the place to a reservation for 35 people, made after mine, as if it was not possible to make more reservations for fewer places

02/11/2025: Do you remember Sunday lunch at your grandmother's house, with the afternoon national popular program playing on the TV, while tortellini in broth, grilled meat, and fugasin (a type of pasta) took pride of place on the family table? All this exists, and we were able to enjoy it at the Alba Nova farmhouse, welcoming as always. The tagliolini with pumpkin and porcini mushrooms were excellent, the grilled meat was honest and flavorful, all homemade at super prices. Highly recommended!
