31/10/2025: Excellent food... service could be improved, especially in the manner of the only waiter, who was too hasty and overreacted to jokes, often being overly familiar and even insulting. Since he was the only one there, we had to ask him several times. It's not his fault, but the owner's.

26/11/2025: Heroic! Simply heroic. Even though the refuge was packed (and rightly so, given the beautiful day and the first snowfall), the service was efficient and the wait times were completely reasonable. The food was good and the portions were just right. It's clear the staff is organized and knows how to handle even a Sunday crowd well. A positive experience, I'll gladly return!

21/09/2025: We ate at this refuge with a simply spectacular view of the Pale di San Martino and the Fassa Dolomites. The staff were helpful and friendly, the welcome was wonderful (which, believe me, is not a given in the Fassa Valley...), and the dishes were delicious and authentic. The gnocchi with puzzone cheese and walnuts were especially delicious. Highly recommended, and congratulations! 💯

11/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The room was nice, but the mattress was so thin that I could feel all the springs on my back when I lay down. We found dog poop in the garden, and we don't have a dog. The room was right next to the exit, and you could hear everyone coming and going at all hours. We'll never return.

06/09/2025: A very beautiful lodge with a fantastic view. Here you can stop and relax in the sun on free loungers and then enjoy traditional dishes. In addition to the classic appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, we enjoyed an excellent venison loin with sautéed potatoes, mushrooms, and cranberries. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

10/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty first courses, perfectly cooked meat, all carefully presented. It's not your typical mountain restaurant, but I highly recommend it for the unique dishes and original presentation. We'll be back!

21/07/2025: We had dinner at Le Migole on our wedding anniversary. Before I start writing... it was fantastic. Great ambiance, very, very good food, and excellent service. We haven't had anything comparable in Trentino yet. We had a reservation and were greeted very warmly and shown to our table. Beautiful table setting with a linen tablecloth, fine cutlery, and beautiful glasses. The small restaurant was modern, stylish, and tastefully and comfortably decorated with lots of wood. We browsed the creative menu, which sounded truly delicious, and then the extensive wine list. We opted for a bottle of Brollettino Ca dei Frati and water. Meanwhile, a small greeting from the kitchen arrived: a small melon soup with a cream cheese espuma. Served with salted butter and very nice homemade grissini. For starters, we ordered a beautifully made beef tartare, finely shaved and well-seasoned as it should be, and beautifully presented on a beautiful plate. I loved the small onion sorbet topping the tartar. It went perfectly together. My wife had the lightly smoked mackerel fillet on a lentil puree. Here, too, the ingredients were beautifully balanced and beautifully presented. After the starter, we were already in a great mood for the evening. For the second course, I had the saffron risotto with smoked paprika cream. A beautifully creamy and grainy risotto with a great flavor. My wife ordered the venison roast. It was served in its stock with parsnip puree, pineapple, and chips. A daring combination that blended beautifully in the mouth. For the main course, I had the flank steak with two types of jus, wild broccoli, and potato puree. Perfectly roasted meat in a very rich jus with a light, fluffy puree. You can't ask for more. Since Le Migole seems to want to maintain a bit of tradition, they also have some traditional Italian classics on the menu that don't necessarily have anything to do with fine dining. My wife opted for the polenta with beef ragu. It was a straightforward dish of old-school Italian cuisine. Very delicious. The dessert menu also sounded fantastic, but unfortunately, we didn't have room. We'll definitely make up for that on our next visit. Our conclusion: We had a really lovely evening with great food and good service at Le Migole. If there was anything to note, it would only be that we missed the wine service a bit. The bottle was placed on our table in a cooler, and we had to refill it ourselves throughout the evening. Well, the bottle only cost just under €40 and we served ourselves, no problem. However, if I had ordered a €200 bottle of Tiganello, for example, and the service had been the same, I would have been annoyed. Given the price range of the establishment, the service crew at Le Migole should perhaps reconsider that. Otherwise, as I said, it was a fantastic evening in this small, cozy restaurant. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food.

24/09/2025: The owners are friendly, kind, and welcoming: you immediately feel at home. We chose the full Lumaca menu, which turned out to be very filling and excellent value. Don't miss the 95% alcohol sweets in various flavors: a unique treat! Irene and Daniele, along with their small restaurant, are truly special: a wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back. You can also try a variety of dishes, to please all tastes.

17/11/2025: The food wasn't excellent. We ordered cod with a lot of bones, flavorless, and very flaky. The Storo polenta was excellent. It lacked a bit of salt. Let's skip the potatoes. The wine wasn't up to par, the desserts were passable but not excellent, and the coffee was poor. The staff was helpful and committed.

17/11/2025: We tried the all-you-can-eat option...not a particularly pleasant experience. The fact that the pizza chef decides which pizzas to bring is fine, but they should still be pizzas that make sense. First, a Margherita pizza, a second, already quite heavy, pizza with garlic and anchovies, then a pizza with randomly thrown-on potatoes, an egg and cream pizza, a pizza with onions, a schiacciata-style pizza with garlic again, and finally a pizza with Nutella. The photos give you a pretty good idea. Let's just say the pizza chef probably doesn't like this inconvenient idea of ​​having pizzas to fill your stomach... 🤷... It's a shame because the atmosphere would also be nice for group pizza parties. We definitely won't be back.

30/11/2025: We ate at this restaurant for an anniversary. The atmosphere was elegant and tranquil, and the service was impeccable and courteous, with professional and friendly waiters. We chose the vegetarian menu and were pleasantly surprised. We particularly enjoyed the leek and nori dish, the Garda olive oil, and the lemon butter. Overall, an excellent experience, highly recommended!

05/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. First course, second course, and dessert with two covers and two hot drinks cost around €35. Super welcoming staff, including a very friendly waiter who even cracked a few jokes. Really welcoming.

14/08/2025: After a walk to the Fuciade refuge, we raced back to the parking lot, only to notice this small hotel and restaurant on the right overlooking a small lake. The welcome was top-notch; the kindness and care with which they greet guests is priceless, especially after having been surrounded by a crush of strollers and screaming children less than an hour earlier. We sat down and couldn't help but try so many different dishes. The cannelloni were truly excellent, not to mention the spare ribs. Everything was truly remarkable; I was won over by the family-run management and the attention to detail. The menu includes several courses and takes into account allergies and intolerances. It's a place where you feel as pampered as you wish, both while eating and relaxing. Many compliments once again to the Chef and the service. Don't miss it!

03/10/2025: I got a high rating from the restaurant, but it was very crowded. Unfortunately, I didn't try the restaurant because of the long line. You'd have to wait half an hour to an hour to get a table. Another excellent restaurant was also chosen. Without downplaying the restaurant, if it weren't so excellent, it wouldn't be so crowded. Riva Dal Carda has an elegant center and excellent restaurants.
