Fantastic place. We went twice during our 1-week stay in Siena. The products offered, both food and drinks, are local only and of exceptional quality. Everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. The owners are very, very kind and offer helpful advice and explanations for those who are not familiar with the local cuisine. We had great time and my husband, myself and our dog really enjoyed the place, the food and the warm, welcoming service. Thank you for your hospitality.

For a platter... a crouton... a good craft beer close to Piazza del Campo, highly recommended compared to the many places that attract tourists... what more do you want from life... a vin santo

Truly a wonderful trattoria! Antico Tagliere is a warm and welcoming osteria, where you immediately feel at home. The owners are extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. The food is excellent, high-quality, and carefully prepared. A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

01/07/2026: My honest opinion here is a place where you can eat more than well, the food is delicious, everything is fresh, I ate pizza with prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella "insanely good" the next day I went back and ate a delicious salad with pecorino walnuts and extremely good bacon seasoned with extra virgin olive oil. It was truly a special experience, the staff is very nice and very promising! I would love to go back to Montepulciano Toscana to enjoy 100% Italian dishes ❤️
28/06/2026: I went here for lunch and chose a large salad from a variety of options, and it was truly excellent. Afterwards, I also had a really good picio! A quiet place with both indoor and outdoor seating, and truly friendly and helpful staff. They also have some desserts, like the chocolate cake, which was delicious! I recommend a leisurely visit and a nice aperitivo with wine or cocktails for all tastes. I'll definitely be back!
