29/12/2025: A lovely stop for breakfast, lunch, etc. Pleasant atmosphere Excellent wine selection!

03/10/2025: It's open for lunch, which is a win. The food was good, but not the best I've had in Italy. The service was good, but they didn't tell me what was on offer that day. The daily menu looked better than the menu. And they forgot to bring me the dessert menu. The best service in Italian restaurants was from foreigners in search of a better life.

01/07/2026: I confirm what someone else wrote. The spa is closed, the hot water fountain is ruined and cordoned off, and it spews hot, turbid water into the river, which is also dirty and uninspiring. It's a shame because it would have been a lovely attraction.

12/06/2026: You can soak in the free thermal waters next to the river. WARNING: the water is boiling hot and you can easily burn yourself!!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫 The hotel is in disrepair and has been closed for years... The place is still worth a try... especially out of season.

07/07/2026: Grazie Mille Bar Antonella, stopped for a spritz and was welcomed by the lovely couple who run the bar, they even changed the snacks for me when I told them I was vegetarian. 5🌟 service, larger establishments need to take lessons from this lovely couple on hospitality

10/04/2026: This place is worth a visit for its authentic and sincere food, where you feel comfortable and at ease. The veal with tuna sauce is a real hit, as are the tortellini, and even a simple dish like eggs and asparagus! Antonella is genuine; she comes over, greets you, and is happy to chat, making you feel at home. The rest of the staff also have a welcoming atmosphere. If I'm ever in Mantua again, I'll definitely be back. :)

03/12/2025: Comfortable atmosphere, the girl serving the tables was very kind, but in my opinion the food could have been better considering that they also charged me more than on the menu. I don't recommend buying water that isn't bottled, it tastes of soap and limescale, all in all considering the hypothetical prices it's affordable.

14/04/2026: Very bad. I felt like having a quick standard Chinese lunch and I went again to this restaurant which I frequented much more often a few years ago. Unfortunately I had confirmation of the drop in quality that I had already noticed on another occasion recently. Introduction: I have been going to Chinese restaurants of all types and ranges for almost thirty years. However, the place is practically empty (there is only one table with family - spouses and two children) I am welcomed in a rather hasty manner by the waiter in certainly not "dining room" attire and placed at a table. I order grilled ravioli, 5 color prawns, Cantonese rice and a green tea. To see the ravioli I wait almost half an hour (never happened) and then the other dishes in sequence. Average quality (even quite low). I would add that for the entire duration of the wait and lunch no one deigned to even look at me except the woman who I presume was a cook, when she brought me the dishes. She too in an outfit that is anything but dignified for being in the public eye, certainly more suitable for household chores! Last surprise was a bill of €14.50 which, considering the things I bought and certainly not being a luxury place, really seems a bit much. Not recommended.

28/02/2026: This is my go-to Chinese restaurant, and I definitely recommend it. Prices this low are unheard of. Everything is high-quality and delicious, with friendly, fast staff.

11/08/2026: Pasta are handmade and delicious. Pizza looked not the best, so I would recommend taking pastas here ! Waitresses were honestly kind and nice.

31/10/2025: Hidden gem of a winery! You eat at shared tables, and it has an authentic feel. Prices are super reasonable - highly recommend trying the truffle bread as a snack. We also ended up purchasing some bottles of wine (€5) and olive oil (€14) to bring back home, which were delicious.

30/10/2025: The Italian aperitivo, just as we imagine it and love it! A passionate person, simple and delicious products, no fuss and all in a friendly atmosphere!

01/08/2026: A really nice location, great service and food to die for! The risotto di frutti di mare was amazing. The pizza Bianco with zucchini sugo and buffalo mozzarella was really special

22/07/2026: This morning at 8:55 a.m., I asked for €10 worth of Diesel, but my colleague mistakenly charged me €44, charging me only €15 of the amount, telling me to sort it out and bring the money later. I feel sorry for my colleague (I won't name any names), but I can't pay for a mistake that wasn't made by me, but by the worker in question. I demand an explanation and clarification as soon as possible.

05/07/2026: The food was poor, they didn't try hard enough, the service was rude, and the atmosphere was lacking. Waited 2 hours and the food was cold.

14/07/2025: 2** er ikke meget, men det som ramte vores borde var, desværre ikke længere end til 2**. Den bedste servering var den ene forret, helt simpelt bruschetta, var gode, og så alligevel også lidt ærgerligt at der var hældt tørret oregano ud over. Pasta retterne var, en spøjs sammensætning. Under krydret, og i den ene ret et ubestemmeligt krydderi som gjorde at retten ikke hang sammen. På gulvet var det en lidt træt aften, vinen kom efter forretterne, der blev foreslået dessert inden hovedretterne (pasta) var serveret etc. Lokalets indretning er jo ejerens valg, men uha der var mange køleskabe i rummet, om det styrke det etiske det tror jeg man skal være køleskabe sælger for at syntes.

12/08/2026: During our previous stay (3 years ago), we dined there 5 out of the 7 nights we were in San Gimignano. It was a real gem: excellent pizzas, well-prepared Italian dishes, and a fantastic setting. So we were really looking forward to returning to enjoy pizza and other treats during our next stay in San Gimignano. We arrived on the first night and ordered two crodini as an appetizer and two pizzas. Our first disappointment: the crodini weren't sparkling (probably from an already opened bottle), and the pizzas were more than just so-so: bland with a very average crust... one of the pizzas was waterlogged (from the artichokes, perhaps?). We figured that could happen, so we went back the next day. We ordered a pizza and the "hamburger trifle." What a disappointment that was too. The piece of meat in the mini hamburgers was barely bigger than a thumbnail. The bun was dry. The hamburger was tasteless, bland, and uninteresting... and the pizza wasn't any better than the day before. Far from it... Since we're the persistent type, we went back, this time for a charcuterie board. Ouch! Disaster. With all the wonderful ingredients you find in Tuscany, how can they make such a bland, even bad, charcuterie board? The cured meats were barely fresh, the bread was dry, definitely not fresh. And the prize goes to the grilled vegetables!! How can they make such a terrible dish? In short, a restaurant for tourists who know nothing about Italian cuisine, or cuisine in general.

07/08/2026: It's a tourist trap! There are lots of servers, but only one is actually working. They can walk past you ten times without serving you. Their only concern is getting customers. And the food? Don't even get me started. I think the salt shaker must have fallen into our food. It's a real shame.

24/06/2026: the most authentic trattoria we found in Siena. We tried excellent lasagna and spaghetti with bongole and mussels. and the lightest delicious tiramisu at the best prices we found!!

02/06/2026: The food is very good, and even though I'm celiac, I eat very well at very short notice. I highly recommend coming.

26/05/2026: I arrive Tuesday at 8:30 PM. I'm in the car and I stop at the open bar where it says pizza, first courses... The counter is empty. The barista tells me: "It's all sold out, there's nothing." But it's better if it's closed then!!!!
