26/10/2025: I really liked this place, except for my last stay. I slept with my wife and grandchildren in room 102 on Saturday, October 11th. The disco-style bar was very noisy. Furthermore, since I couldn't find parking, I had the unpleasant surprise of asking the bartender for information. He was very rude, with an unkind tone, almost like someone who had overindulged in alcohol. A nasty person, in front of everyone, a scandal.

28/10/2025: A regular stop for 30 years now, every time I go to the beach. The restaurant, run by the girls, is also excellent. The sandwiches are top-notch.
05/10/2025: Bar il Doccio is a must-see for those traveling between Grosseto and Siena. It offers excellent sandwiches filled to order, with excellent cured meats, cheeses, or delicious porchetta. You can purchase locally sourced packaged products, including wine, sweets, and more.
The service is fast, and the prices are reasonable. Parking is ample and free.

Slow service, we were left as if we didn't exist. We didn't even see the waiters, they were so rude! We had to call them to have our plates taken away! People who came after us were served first! I won't be going back!

03/07/2025: ¡Muy bien! Gracias. Hemos comido bien en la Toscana durante todo nuestro viaje, pero Idyllium fue nuestro favorito en cuanto a comida y ambiente en general. Resulta que realmente guardamos lo mejor para la última noche y hemos visitado algunos lugares increíbles.
Música en vivo de buen gusto, la comida era excelente, el vino y los cócteles a juego y bueno… ¡las vistas hablan por sí solas! Una puesta de sol impresionante. Gracias, nos vemos la próxima vez.

13/10/2025: My go-to in Montalcino, the Tagliata is excellent, and the 2020 Brunello le Potazzine pairs superbly.
09/10/2025: Terrible service. The waiter and waitress kept saying there were only two of them to serve the restaurant, and then they simply disappeared. It took 15 minutes to bring the water, another 15 minutes to bring the wine, another hour to bring the cold main course (steak and potatoes), and a completely bland and poorly prepared salad.
I went to pay the bill at the cashier...so I wouldn't have to wait like everyone else.
Long wait, bad food, terrible service.

04/11/2025: We’ve been coming here every day since arriving in San Gimignano! We’ve received wonderful service and delicious meals! I especially recommend their chocolate pie dessert, which I would describe as a rich chocolate lava cake, served with a side of berries and vanilla ice cream! 10/10 recommend to everyone visiting this beautiful town:)

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and every dish is full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: We had a fantastic experience here. To our great surprise, the bartender/sommelier, Jo, was Flemish—it's always nice to run into a fellow Belgian on vacation. He gave us a very passionate and engaging explanation of the various wines we were tasting. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

11/08/2025: What we ate was good, both the tacos and the pizza, but the prices seemed a bit high. Perhaps tourists passing through San Gimignano are willing to pay these prices?
Looking at the menu, I was "impressed" by the gourmet sandwiches for €16... I'm missing something.
The service was quick but a bit confusing.
