31/10/2025: Hidden gem of a winery! You eat at shared tables, and it has an authentic feel. Prices are super reasonable - highly recommend trying the truffle bread as a snack. We also ended up purchasing some bottles of wine (€5) and olive oil (€14) to bring back home, which were delicious.
30/10/2025: The Italian aperitivo, just as we imagine it and love it! A passionate person, simple and delicious products, no fuss and all in a friendly atmosphere!

04/11/2025: A historic bar along the Via Francigena. Besides serving as an important social gathering place, it offers an excellent selection of cured meats for equally excellent sandwiches! It's also recently opened as a local food store.
It also has large outdoor and indoor spaces, with a tentative—but still encouraging—experiment of a popular library.
22/10/2025: Bar and grocery store in the small, quintessentially Tuscan village of Ponte d'Arbia on the Cassia road, not far from Montalcino. Popular with locals, it also often hosts tourists visiting the area. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a typical village bar, a meeting place for locals, and the atmosphere is cheerful and friendly. The cappuccino is average and the prices are fair. Worth a try.

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

16/09/2025: Driving up to the restaurant, you might wonder why we've ended up here. But definitely pop into the pub. It's a nice atmosphere, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly. The food was inexpensive, and we enjoyed it.
Definitely recommended.

NEVER AGAIN!
Extremely slow service. Poor appetizer. Pasta too al dente. Meat nothing special. For a starter menu, the main course is €35. Appetizer and first course are €25.
We all woke up hungry.
Now we know where NOT to eat in San Gimignano.

09/11/2025: We're choosing it for the second time for three nights of relaxation, beauty, and courtesy. The customer service is exceptional. The cuisine is excellent, both in its quality and abundance. Thanks to Ornella and Claudio, and the staff, who are always ready to satisfy every request. We'll be back!! See you soon!
02/11/2025: It's an ideal farmhouse to unplug from the city. Relaxing, excellent cuisine. Ornella, Claudio, and Eleonora are unique. Their hospitality makes you feel completely at ease. I've been there before and will return many more. I highly recommend it with all my heart.

10/12/2025: An unpretentious osteria serving traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pici with wild boar ragù, liver, and rabbit in Brunello wine.
A homey atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff.
The house wine and homemade tart were very good (it reminded me so much of the one my grandmother used to make when I was little!!!).
Good value for money.

11/08/2025: What we ate was good, both the tacos and the pizza, but the prices seemed a bit high. Perhaps tourists passing through San Gimignano are willing to pay these prices?
Looking at the menu, I was "impressed" by the gourmet sandwiches for €16... I'm missing something.
The service was quick but a bit confusing.

03/07/2025: ¡Muy bien! Gracias. Hemos comido bien en la Toscana durante todo nuestro viaje, pero Idyllium fue nuestro favorito en cuanto a comida y ambiente en general. Resulta que realmente guardamos lo mejor para la última noche y hemos visitado algunos lugares increíbles.
Música en vivo de buen gusto, la comida era excelente, el vino y los cócteles a juego y bueno… ¡las vistas hablan por sí solas! Una puesta de sol impresionante. Gracias, nos vemos la próxima vez.
