08/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a splendid view of Tuscany. The beef tartare with guava is innovative and a perfect combination.
The ravioli are also exquisite. Excellent service, highly recommended.

22/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, recommended by the nearby hotel where we were staying. We truly enjoyed it. Good selection of seafood and meat dishes, quality ingredients expertly prepared. Friendly service, lovely atmosphere. Fried fish, Livorno-style cod, baby octopus crostini, grilled prawns, squid ink tagliolini with seafood ragù, focaccia—all delicious.

07/11/2025: We had dinner with a small group of six friends. We ordered first courses and steak with side dishes. The first courses with ragù were very good, although the portions were perhaps a little on the small side. Unfortunately, the meat was sinewy and not particularly flavorful, and served on a hot stone cutting board. This makes a big impression on a foreign tourist who's never seen a steak, but it's obviously a terrible idea for the meat, which continues to cook and turns into a sole in no time...
The downside? The vegetable side dish, with three puny slices of zucchini and eggplant, was decidedly overpriced. The service was quite slow.

14/09/2025: The food is truly delicious and the service is excellent. The appetizers in particular are simply fantastic, rich in flavor and prepared with such care. I highly recommend this place.
11/09/2025: Definitely excellent value, with a delicious appetizer and first course. I personally liked the pizza, but I'm aware that personal tastes matter.

25/09/2025: Hilltop looking over the valley ristorante next to an old abbey which is now a winery. The location is amazing. We had a set menu of a pasta starter then beef stew on polenta with chocolate orange mousse to finish.

02/08/2025: For the quality of the sliced meat, I would give it 6 stars going to the checkout, but I can't understand how a green salad can cost 9 euros when a sliced meat costs 18. I repeat, the sliced meat deserved 23 euros too... so it would be more correct to then apply €4 for the salad.

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!
15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)

02/10/2025: We only visited the restaurant twice. It was delicious both times; the wild boar, fillet, and miale (?) with mustard sauce and red pepper is highly recommended.
One criticism is that the portion sizes were different both times, even though it was the same dish. Full marks because you can talk to the chef, and our concerns were recognized and taken into account.
We'll be back :-)
29/09/2025: I returned after many years for personal reasons. The location is very welcoming. The menu got a nice 7 only because the tagliata was a bit tough but good. The rest, from appetizers to dessert, was largely satisfactory and I don't understand the bad reviews. Prices were reasonable. The owner was very kind.

10/07/2025: Da Leonardo, dal 2017 ci andiamo ogni anno durante la nostra settimana di vacanza in Toscana. Ceniamo lì almeno 4 volte durante la settimana e ogni volta è una meraviglia. L’accoglienza calorosa, la generosità del padrone di casa, la qualità dei piatti rendono ogni visita un momento eccezionale, fuori dal tempo. Tutto è impeccabile, in un’atmosfera conviviale e sincera che fa di questo posto un indirizzo davvero speciale. Complimenti allo chef, che sa esaltare i buoni prodotti senza mai una nota stonata. È solo un piacere. Complimenti a tutti.
22/06/2025: Hemos comido aquí durante muchos años en nuestras vacaciones y como de costumbre todo es excelente incluso cuando no estás seguro de lo que has pedido. Muy recomendable para una experiencia típica toscana.

25/04/2025: Tutto appena discreto e qualcosa meno. Vale per i piatti che abbiamo mangiato e anche per il servizio. I servizi igienici sono molto puliti ma bisogna fare una rampa di scale per arrivarci.

12/08/2025: The owner is very friendly and helpful. We stopped here with our two large dogs by chance and were hungry before reaching the Abbey of San Galgano.
The atmosphere is very nice and well-kept. The platters are very rich and delicious, as are the bread and house wine.
It's a shame it's so far from home (PC), otherwise it would be one of our favorite places.
