01/10/2025: Pici all'aglione, peposo with polenta, and grape and walnut cake. Amazing!!! Everything homemade, served with kindness and courtesy, and a more than reasonable price (€49 for two). Highly recommended!

On the other hand, €7.50 for a Coke and €6.50 for iced tea is taking tourists for fools. And you can imagine that they offered us drinks very quickly, before we even looked at the prices. €98 for 4: 2 pizzas, a salad, and lasagna, that's really a tourist trap.
25/07/2025: Perfect location. Nice, polite, and helpful staff. I ate amazing octopus. Everything was perfect.

06/03/2026: Extraordinary! Last night we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. Every course, starting with the selection of olive oils, was presented with meticulous attention to detail and passion, personally by the owner, Mr. Carlo, who left us speechless. The chefs are absolutely top-notch. This is one of those rare occasions, unfortunately in Florence, where dining is an opportunity to appreciate culinary art and professionalism with a capital P. 5 stars are truly too few!!! Congratulations.
11/02/2026: Fantastic Florentine dining, delicious local menu from start to finish. Great recommendations from Carlo who was a most gracious host. Highly recommended. We visited on a quiet Tuesday evening and had the place to ourselves. With a restaurant this good it should be packed out every day - a real hidden gem. Many thanks for a great dinner.

21/03/2026: We visited this pastry shop and honestly, everything was amazing. The pastries were incredibly delicious and tasted so fresh.
We loved everything so much that we bought large boxes of ricciarelli and cantucci as souvenirs for our families. We finally got home today and they absolutely loved them!
Highly recommended — we’ll definitely come back again!
20/03/2026: Absolutely disgusting. It tasted so old that I had to spit it out, but the taste (and not a good one) lingered in my mouth. The pistachio cream is 99% sugar and 1% turquoise coloring. Save your money! Yuck!

28/12/2025: The pizza wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't bad either. However, it wasn't enough to make me want to go back. Also, it was very cold there (at the end of December), so cold you'd think they were skimping on heating. The prices, however, were perfectly reasonable.

11/09/2025: The most disgusting Osso Bucco I have ever tasted. All gristle and fat, when I queried it I was told that that is the dish although I know that M&S and also other restaurants serve far better meat. The first restaurant you see down the street looks busy and fun, just make sure you order the right dish. No apology, no sorry we’ll take it off the bill nothing. If you’re English don’t go IMO.

12/03/2026: The food at Taverna del Capitano was incredible!! We were recommended the restaurant by a nearby shop owner and stumbled across it after visiting the Siena Duomo. The owner was wonderful and personable, the house wine was fantastic and the pasta is great! Anyone should visit this Tuscan gem!
09/03/2026: A very simple trattoria in the heart of Siena, where we were greeted impeccably by Nicolò and his staff. They immediately made us feel at ease. The quality was excellent. The bill was commensurate with the quality of our food. Anyone who comes to Siena simply must eat here!

24/03/2025: Non posso fare una recensione sul cibo, però posso dire che sono stati veramente scortesi, perchè dopo aver telefonato più volte per confermare prenotazione inviato messaggi, arrivati davanti al ristorante di sabato sera alle 20:00 ristorante chiuso, ci possono essere milioni di motivi per tenere chiuso, ma obbligo avvertire le persone con la prenotazione, comportamento non accettabile, senza alcun rispetto.

25/12/2025: A very nice place, well-managed. It's a shame the drinks are a bit pricey, but especially the girl who makes them serves very small quantities. I hope it's not the place's policy, because it would be scandalous. I can pay whatever it's worth for a gin, but I expect the same amount as other places. Merry Christmas!
