11/05/2026: We ate very well. A plate of Pici cacio e pepe and a Chianina burger with truffle and vegetables. The meat was delicious, very tender and tasty. To finish, the cantucci with their own vinsanto were spectacular!!!!! Good, good, good!!!! 10, very kind staff!!! 10 ++++

31/08/2025: The owner's son, in exchange for a ride to the bakery, said: "I'll reheat you for free"... BUT when asked if you owe something, he said: it seems obvious to me, 20 euros for 18 pieces... in the end we gave it away.

10/05/2026: A family-friendly atmosphere with no pretensions. Kind and friendly. We dined and stayed two nights in the Istrice apartment, where we also had horseback riding lessons. The homemade food was good, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, there was little attention paid to the dishes; we even found a fly in the sauce. The apartment was clean and very large, with no complaints. The horseback riding lesson experience was very engaging, with attention to the horse at the beginning and end: thrilling. The only flaw: two slightly overly exuberant dogs who jumped on us to play several times; unfortunately, this behavior isn't always appreciated. The location is a bit out of the way and can be reached by driving at least a couple of kilometers of dirt road.

22/05/2026: A good hotel for visiting Tuscany; its location is convenient for exploring the region. Parking is available at the hotel, although it's not a private lot. The staff is very friendly, and the facilities are good. Breakfast is a varied buffet.

05/04/2026: I should have seen the other reviews in Google map before entering. the review remains the same. Extremely dry breads with some ham or topping inside. And that takes 40 minutes of waiting with half full. Better to be in queue of the other restaurants nearby than sitting in this restaurant and waiting for dry bread. Just a disgrace to to Tuscany restaurants.

29/03/2026: We came to Monteriggioni from Livorno and stopped here for lunch! Exceptional local products and fair prices for what's on offer! The host and all the staff were friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back.

10/05/2026: We went for lunch. It was a Monday after a National Holiday so we were very few at the restaurant. We were warmly received by a lady who took our order. The food arrived promptly and it was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his seabass (the best he had had in a long time). My seafood salad was delicious. We learned later that our waitress was the owner! Maria Antonia (I hope I remember her name correctly) is originally from Sardinia and speaks very good English, she told us she was also the cook! The house wine (white) was very good and overall excellent value for money. I enthusiastically recommend it. We were surprised the place was not full. It's a bit difficult to see the name of the restaurant from the parking lot. Plenty of parking spots.
