16/06/2026: Tourist trap. deception when spending money.

01/06/2026: Perfect little bar slightly outside of the noisy touristy areas. Yes, still plenty of tourists but you can get a perfect sandwich, drink, and enjoy some conversation and local personalities. Prices are reasonable and the staff are great.

05/10/2025: A nice restaurant, with kind but slow staff. It needs improvement. The dishes, considering the price paid, weren't abundant.

01/10/2025: Pici all'aglione, peposo with polenta, and grape and walnut cake. Amazing!!! Everything homemade, served with kindness and courtesy, and a more than reasonable price (€49 for two). Highly recommended!

04/05/2026: Simple but welcoming atmosphere. Helpful staff. Fast service. Plenty of pizza, thin and good.

17/04/2026: The owner of an affordable Italian restaurant near the hotel was incredibly welcoming. Despite the language barrier, she was very helpful in communicating with us about vegetarian options. We ended up ordering a delicious pizza and pasta! Bravo!

31/12/2025: Honestly the pizza is good, nothing to complain about, but the place needs a good clean and a coat of paint.

24/07/2026: More like a tourist trap, or the chef simply lacks a certain feel for flavor. The pici were too al dente, even by Italian standards; they were quite hard to chew. The sauce was just a carelessly thrown-together mix of cheese and pepper. You only eat here if you can't find anywhere else. Dear chef: why not try adding some onions, white wine, olive oil, etc.?

02/06/2026: We ordered Pici cacio e pepe for four people, but it was inedible due to the excessive salt used in its preparation. We informed the staff, who blamed us for adding Parmesan cheese. A disappointment.

29/06/2026: Aida is a great host, she does it all really well. Thanks Aida I visited them again, great team, Aida is the best. Air conditioning inside.

24/05/2026: Sunday lunchtime, one of the few places open. The counter was completely empty, the staff very rude and annoyed when interacting with customers (especially foreigners). They changed seats in a second. It's absurd to be treated this way when you're PAYING for a service. What a disgrace!

09/06/2026: The sushi isn't bad, although the pieces have too much rice, and after one serving of uramaki, you're full. The only downside was the lady serving the tables. After the second time she brought the orders, she was extremely annoyed. When my partner's parents couldn't find the order on the list, she exclaimed loudly, "IT'S DEFINITELY AT THIS TABLE!" They'll see me again when the management changes. Maybe.

20/04/2026: Poor selection of dishes, poor quality, long wait despite hardly anyone being there. Rice noodles that were supposed to be grilled tasted like they were boiled!

09/04/2026: Rude staff, wanted exact change but when we couldn’t access an ATM I was able to pay with my phone in 2 seconds. The girl was rolling her eyes and making comments under her breath for something that could have been a simple transaction.

09/04/2026: In my opinion, the best coffee in Siena...and not only that!!! Massimo, Marisa, and the girl there are friendly, helpful, and very professional! I highly recommend it to everyone.

02/08/2026: Terrible experience. We booked with The Fork for a discount, but the owner had a good idea to refuse our reservation because there were 11 of us. I didn't notice, and when we arrived (with 4 children), he pointed out that he hadn't accepted our reservation and that we could sit down anyway. Despite this, to say the least, rude way of telling me he wouldn't give me a discount, we sat down and ordered. We waited about 45 minutes for some terrible, tough cuts of meat, and when we pointed this out, with the same rudeness he displayed when booking, he offered us another cut of meat, which we refused because it would have been the same. I won't elaborate, but I'll tell you, it was very rude. The burger was served on a plate, tasteless. Montepulciano wine, blah blah blah, served cold from the fridge, with a screw cap that hints at its poor quality. I could go on and on with my comments, without even a shred of respect for the customers. Bill: We reported the incident and he had the nerve to say that "the meat was cleaned off," but we told him it was on the plates and we didn't want to pay for it. He reversed one charge. Terrible, terrible, horrible management. Shame.

11/09/2025: The most disgusting Osso Bucco I have ever tasted. All gristle and fat, when I queried it I was told that that is the dish although I know that M&S and also other restaurants serve far better meat. The first restaurant you see down the street looks busy and fun, just make sure you order the right dish. No apology, no sorry we’ll take it off the bill nothing. If you’re English don’t go IMO.

08/11/2025: This place was recommended to me, and I booked without looking at the reviews. Once I walked in, I wondered what it was like, and the reviews were pretty bad. I was obviously very biased, but I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and excellent food. We tried fragrant pici with porcini mushrooms, a truly delicious ribollita, and a tender ossobuco that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful mixed salad. I recommend finishing your dinner with their cantucci.

19/08/2026: It's a very nice place overlooking the square where the Palio races are held. The staff are friendly. If we ever come to Siena again, we'll definitely sit here again.

15/08/2026: We had a fantastic experience on both evenings we dined here. From our first reception with Victor, to the amazing service and food once sat at our table, we can not fault this restaurant. Which is exactly why we returned. If we are lucky enough to return to Siena we shall absolutely dine here again. Thank you all, for making us feel welcome, and thank you, Victor, for remembering our names on our second night. Attention to detail 👌

16/08/2026: A welcoming, homey atmosphere. All the dishes are homemade and tasty. The elderly owner is still in the kitchen. Friendly service and great flavors. Incredible value for money.

15/08/2026: A typical atmosphere reminiscent of taverns of yesteryear... Delicious dishes with generous portions and fair prices. Compliments to the lady who managed the kitchen and table service alone.
