We were in Siena for just one day, and after searching online, we wanted to have dinner at a traditional restaurant with a menu that offered all the best Siena has to offer. We were very satisfied, so we ordered an appetizer and two meat-based main courses with sides, all delicious. I highly recommend it.

Good local food, kind service, rational pricing.
Would recommend. Not the most fancy restaurant not to complain, just the one which serves the dinner the way you would eat it at home as a local, which gives a bit more inside to Siena's cuisine.

A good trattoria in the market square. We had two crostoni and a portion of pappardelle each. Wine and coffee were €50. Very good and reasonable.

Yesterday we had dinner at this restaurant in Piazza del Mercato in Siena, and the experience was truly excellent.
We had the pici cacio e pepe: simply spectacular. The pasta was perfectly al dente, perfectly creamy, and with a truly successful balance of flavors. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen.
The highlight, however, was the Florentine steak: tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The meat was top-notch, flavorful, and beautifully enhanced by the impeccable cooking.
Excellent local wine list.
Pleasant atmosphere and friendly, yet unobtrusive, service. A place I absolutely recommend to anyone looking to eat well in Siena, especially if you love authentic Tuscan cuisine.
