We ate well. I expected prices to be a little under €50 per person, considering that five of us ordered a bottle of wine for around €26, two appetizers, a first course, and meat-based second courses, including two braised meats, a roast chicken, and a mixed roast for two.

Definitely one of the best culinary experiences in Siena. The waiters are incredibly kind, the owner came out to greet us, and the food, especially the grilled meat, is truly special.

I've been to Fonte Giusta several times, but the last time I found myself ordering the classic duck pici, which turned out not to be true—neither the pici nor the duck ragu. The waiter kept claiming they were always the same pici, but having photos of pici at Fonte Giusta, I could see that he was lying. Just be honest. The meat is good, but if you want to try pici, I no longer recommend it. The first photo is from Easter 2026, the others from last year (2025). You decide which pici are.

A trattoria with plenty of seating offering Tuscan cuisine. We had a good pumpkin and stracchino risotto, some excellent ribs, and a burger. The burger was good, but the presentation and accompanying fries were awful. The fries were soggy and the color of old oil. The waiters were friendly.

The place is nice but slightly more expensive than the offerings in the area. Only 3 stars for the food because the menu featured suckling pig, which clearly wasn't suckling pig. When asked if it was, the response was: "I don't know." Another customer asked the same question last week. I'll have to check with the kitchen; perhaps they should check. 18 euros for a different dish is a bit annoying.

A delicious place to eat, pardon my Italian; we arrived in Siena from Spain.
The service was helpful and correct, but as a chef, and with all due respect, this is constructive criticism.
A suckling pig should weigh no more than 6 kg; the one we were served was already drinking milk from a glass.
The pig had been reheated in the oven, not prepared fresh that day.
Although the flavor was good, the cooking was a bit overdone.
If roasting and reheating suckling pigs, I recommend using a low heat and, at the customer's request, roasting it with a little fat rubbed into the skin to make it crispy.
The bread service would be even better if served warm, accompanied by a good extra virgin olive oil, and a small snack while waiting would be appreciated.
The side dishes were adequate.
It was a beautiful day in Siena, but the food could be better.

We stopped by for dinner with the family. The place is welcoming and colorful, and the wait staff is young and smiling, but also very knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. We ate a mix of bruschetta and delicious local cheeses, a Chianina steak that melted in our mouths... To finish, homemade cantucci with Vin Santo... in short, a full immersion in true Tuscan style! But the added value of the whole evening were the people who accompanied us during dinner... a special thanks to Waseh and Carola, an added value to the restaurant!!!!!! Well done guys, congratulations, keep it up 👍
