We had a good time, but after paying for 24 people, being told that the Amaro di Siena is an extra charge doesn't reflect a sense of welcome. In any case, the pici and the excellent steak were excellent. We'll definitely return and recommend.

A typical restaurant in Siena's historic center.
The prices are moderately high, not those of a trattoria but rather those of a tourist spot (€3 cover charge for a tablecloth and paper napkin, €9 for half a liter of wine by the glass).
The mixed Tuscan antipasto was good, but the pici all'aglione were disappointing, completely flavorless, like plain pasta with tomato sauce.
Unfortunately, our expectations were disappointed.

Prices aren't typical of a trattoria.
The mixed antipasto was good.
The first courses were disappointing, especially the pici all'aglione dish. It tasted like plain tomato pasta, and the garlic wasn't there.

Disappointing service, deep plates for eating the appetizer, hot water (in this heat!!!), one appetizer for 15 people, poor cured meats, lots of olives and little more, 10 first courses and 5 second courses without side dishes, 2 mugs of house wine, the barley, at the end of the evening, brought in a mug, looked like a bucket and was disgusting..... all for only 700 euros...... 50 euros per person..... they are crazy!!!!! Never again

A very traditional and very good place. The waiters are culinary students, and I think it would be good if they had more supervision because they lack experience in customer service, but it's nothing serious; the experience is very enjoyable.

This evening, the Nicchio is spinning.
This is what they told us as we tried to reach the restaurant amidst the crowd, amidst drums and flag-wavers.
But it was worth it.

Excellent osteria!
Even though it was close to closing time, the staff seated us without any problems.
I had the house appetizer with a selection of Tuscan cured meats and Pecorino cheese, and the tomato and Pecorino bruschetta were highly recommended. Followed by the pici pasta with ragù, also very good.
Highly recommended.

We had such a lovely evening at Fonte Giusta. The food was superb! The staff were so nice, full of humour and warmth. It's an authentic, fantastic place, you have to go there! Tanti, tanti saluti al gentilissimo personale! /Federico
