Didn’t really look for a place to eat in Siena as it was pouring rain and we just wanted to move on. Noticed this place on the way back to the highway and decided to stop. Glad we did. Excellent cured meat platter with excellent quality and variety. Spaghetti with an avalanche of fresh truffles. A hunters stew with wild boar. All excellent and served with apparent care and pride.

Small family-run restaurant with truly exquisite dishes, the service is empathetic, we had an osso bucco that earned a standing ovation and the hare pappardelle was no exception, the price was really reasonable. See you soon.

Nice and very welcoming environment. Fast and informal service. The owner is very nice. For what we ate, everything was excellent. Recommended if you are looking for flavors other than the classic wild boar which are particular and must be known to cook. Well done

In the wild boar the largest piece was a bone and then various small bones scattered around. Decent sauce. I would never take it back

In zona per lavoro ho scelto questo locale per pranzo, ho ordinato dei pici e un dolce che ho trovato buoni ma nella norma dei ristoranti della zona. Sono rimasto deluso dall'ambiente che presentava una temperatura di sala molto bassa ed è restata così per tutta la mia permanenza di ca. 1 ora. Premetto che sono arrivato alle 12.40 come primo cliente della giornata ma nessun commensale si aspetta che all'arrivo la temperatura sia fuori luogo. Il personale è sempre stato gentile ma molto schivo essendo preso in diverse attività nella attigua cucina.

Il locale è in una zona un po' periferica, ma comoda dalla tangenziale e con possibilità di parcheggio vicino. L'interno è piccolo con un dehor ampio. Menù molto senese con in più qualcosa di pesce e la pizza. Ho preferito il tipico ed ho preso un antipasto di fritto misto di verdure e pappardelle alla lepre, entrambi ottimi. La giovane cameriera è stata gentile ed efficiente. Caffè pessimo e prezzi onesti.

28/01/2024: Beautiful place, welcoming, beautifully furnished, with style and personality, very good pizzas and desserts, fast service. Discovered by chance to eat one evening away from Florence to Colle for a match, excellent choice.

La Biscondola

31/10/2023: Located at a little corner, La Biscondola serves up simple Italian fare. We visited after lunchtime and it was one of the few eateries still open and taking customers. Food was great overall, the vibes were good, service was prompt and friendly. As we were sharing a pasta, the crew even portioned out the pasta proactively before serving. Recommended if you are around the area!
