Trattoria Pizzeria La Colonna In Siena

We've been to Colonna often, not only for the team's love and dedication, but also for the wonderful things they prepare, especially the venison with grapes. I highly recommend it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!

The first courses and the sliced ​​meat are excellent.

The food was really good, although unfortunately there was a really, really long wait, and when the dish arrived I even found a hair on it. Aside from this flaw, the atmosphere was nice, the spaghetti with white ragù was really good, and the service was friendly, but not very helpful and not very attentive to hygiene (while she was taking our order, she went to welcome another table, causing an inconvenience).

We barely managed to get a table on our first evening in Siena. The restaurant opened at 7:30 pm, and by 8 pm all the tables inside and in the front garden were occupied. New people kept arriving and asking for a table... We had pizza, which was prepared in the Roman/Tuscan style and was absolutely delicious.

It's a restaurant/pizzeria without high expectations. The menu is limited, but well-made and well-prepared, with excellent homemade pasta (but don't expect Michelin-starred dishes). The menu is only accessible online, and those unfamiliar with QR codes will have to resign themselves to the lack of a paper menu. The pizzas are unusual; they don't have any yeast, so they're only appreciated by those who prefer them "biscuit-like," because they're thin and crispy (too much for my taste). The food is better. As for the desserts...let's leave them alone; as a Sicilian, I'm too picky. Overall, however, it's a good compromise, a good alternative to restaurants in the historic center, even if you expect a little more from a restaurant you've seen competing on TV.

Great pastas and careful service. We had a great time there and my only remorse is that we did not try the pizzas. We had a great Ragout pasta and also one in red sauce, and sone salads

The bunny pasta is very good. I also recommend the tiramisu.

Definitely the best game I've ever eaten. There were two of us, so we were able to try several dishes: pappardelle with hare, pici with wild boar, venison with grapes, and wild boar stew... A riot of flavors. Everything was cooked with care, rich, colorful, and full of flavor! Pure harmony! Not to mention the dessert! Definitely worth it!!! Congratulations!
