16/11/2025: Lovely small award winning restaurant—reservations recommended. I ordered their seafood set menu -4 dishes for 38 euros. The octopus carpaccio antipasti was excellent with an emulsion of octopus water into a thick delicious sauce. The primi was spaghetti with muscles and clams. Unfortunately it was over salted and had to be sent. They were gracious, tasted it, agreed it was over salted and prepared a new plate. The secondi was squid with arugula. The dolce was lemon sorbet in a bathe a prosecco. Both the secondi and dolce was spot on. The highlight was the carpaccio of octopus. Front of the house service was excellent. We got a bottle of really high quality Chianti for about 60 euros.
I would recommend this restaurant.
09/11/2025: Osteria dei Cavalieri was a great way to end this fantastic Tuscan holiday. The menus offer quality meat, fish, and vegetables at a fair price. The tagliata (sliced steak) was amazing, as was the service.

The calamarata was really good.
I wasn't as impressed with the cod, but it was still good.
I recommend making a reservation.

25/11/2025: Sensational location! A picture-perfect view, beautifully decorated, and with good, if not entirely exceptional, food. We were there on a Monday, when they have live music. A bit loud for conversation, but truly an experience! On top of that, there was an Italian wedding going on, where all the guests were invited onto the dance floor. Just like in a movie! 😀 With such a visually stunning location, we've often experienced that the food was average. That's not the case here. The prices are also reasonable. Highly recommended!

12/11/2025: We went to this farm/restaurant because we were passing through Pisa, and asking around for a good place to eat at a fair price, a young student sent us here... I can say that it's a nice little place, where you eat well, so we tried Tuscan cuisine, and I must say that it was a great experience, because coming from Romagna, where the cuisine, that is, the Romagna dishes are very good, we also had a great time here, the dishes are very tasty, and plentiful at a fair price... There's not much space, but if you find the place, the food is good... we'll definitely be back. We highly recommend it... everything okkkkkkk... +++

08/12/2025: A true osteria in the heart of Volterra. The food is simply cooked, but truly excellent.
The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is kind and helpful.
You feel like you're at grandma's house!
07/12/2025: We found this osteria somewhat by chance while wandering around Volterra and were very impressed. We're super satisfied with the portions and the deliciousness of the dishes.
The host is very kind and friendly, but be careful with the cough syrup after your coffee 🤭
The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is homey.
If we ever pass through Volterra again, we'll definitely be back.

31/10/2025: Very cute place, delicious desserts; we had a plain croissant without icing and a walnut braid. There's a wide selection for a top breakfast! The cappuccino and Illy coffee were very good! I recommend stopping by for breakfast!
28/10/2025: It was spectacular the first time I was there and I was amazed by the buffet I found, from appetizers to main courses... an excellent aperitif with very kind staff... the only flaw is a little salty but good. I recommend it, word of the chef.
