La Grotta In Pisa

A truly excellent experience. We had lunch here and were very pleased with both the food and the service. We ordered the crispy carasau bread basket, the lasagna, and, for dessert, the Merenda della Nonna. All the dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. The dessert of warm bread, fior di latte gelato, hazelnuts, and red fruit compote was a particularly pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and quiet, perfect for a relaxing lunch. The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, without ever being intrusive. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and impeccable service. We will definitely be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a lovely lunch here during my birthday week! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted straight away and made to feel so welcome. A special thank you to Luca, who looked after us throughout our visit. He was friendly, attentive, and gave us some fantastic recommendations. We started with the summer panzanella, which Luca recommended, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Lasagna al Ragù, which was one of the best I have ever had, and my sister had the Paccheri with gorgonzola, speck and mirtillo, which was equally incredible. Every dish was full of flavour, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Honestly, everything was a 10/10. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Thank you, Luca, for making our lunch so memorable!

Excellent dinner with friends on a special evening, the night of the Luminara, the feast of San Ranieri, when Pisa is buzzing with activity and the venues are packed. Good food, so-so service, a bit slow on such a special evening. Good value. I'd like to return at a quieter time.

I was there yesterday for lunch and had a truly wonderful experience. We had two starters and the house wine: everything was excellent. The dishes were presented with great care, and the prices were absolutely proportionate to the quality of the food, which was truly excellent. The service was fast, attentive, and always with a smile. Special thanks to the owner and the waiter: his friendliness and sunny disposition, typical of the South, made us feel immediately welcomed. We'll definitely be back!
