07/08/2025: We stopped at Pierottoi that evening quite by chance. After eating so much pasta and pizza, we weren't really in the mood for it anymore... It was actually pretty stupid to go to a pizzeria then. We received very warm service from Antonella, who also spoke a few words of German and took really great care of us. She ultimately recommended Bistecca di Manzo. We were shown the T-bone steak raw beforehand and decided to go for it. And we didn't regret it – an incredibly delicious piece of meat, cooked perfectly medium-rare, with a great flavor and wonderful grilled aromas. I'm really picky about meat, but it was so tender that you could only cut some of it with a fork. The steak was served with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, and freshly baked bread from the stone oven. We enjoyed the delicious house wine with it. To finish off the meal, we received a glass of limoncello on the house. Thanks to Antonella for the great service, and thanks to the kitchen for the amazing meal to round off our Italian vacation. We'll be back!

16/08/2025: I went to this restaurant on August 14th. It was my birthday dinner. I just have to say the staff was fantastic! They went above and beyond to accommodate a problem I had! The food was excellent. We had appetizers (each better than the last), then two second courses of both fabulous first courses. We'll definitely be back. Well done, well done.... And thank you 😘

16/08/2025: A good restaurant. Nice place, friendly and professional staff. We ordered seafood salad (plenty), pici with monkfish (excellent), octopus and mashed potatoes (good), cod with chickpea cream (excellent), and gnocchi for the little boy. Overall, we ate well and got the right price. Recommended.

15/08/2025: Great pastry shop/gelateria/bar, where we came daily from our accommodation 400 meters away for breakfast (cappuccino and Cornetto) and aperitifs and/or ice cream. Very friendly and efficient service, very reasonable prices, and a pleasant atmosphere with many locals. The only downside is that the fan on the terrace doesn't work, and on hot days it can get a bit stuffy, especially if people are smoking there.

27/07/2025: Off the tourist road this small but excellent restaurant offers the perfect blend of top notch food and attentive service. The service was provided by Linda, who was happy to help with any questions regarding the menu and the wine. Couldn't have asked for a better waitress, her enthusiasm was contagious. We ended up being the last to leave having consumed a good few bottles, leaving very full and contented vowing that if we ever come back to Lucca, we will return to Manzo. Antonio(Owner) has a lot to be proud of, well done for making such a great place to enjoy Italian cuisine at it's finest.

06/08/2025: We had dinner on a Saturday at 9:00 PM, and the wait to order was very long—too long. Once we ordered, the food didn't arrive long, and ordering dessert also took a long time. In short, the staff is too small. That said, the food was good, and the waiters were friendly!

02/08/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The food was exceptional and delicious, and the ingredients were homemade and of very high quality. We were served by a warm, smiling waitress who offered excellent advice. We will definitely return. If you have the opportunity to visit Pietrasanta, I recommend this place without hesitation.

And it knows about Tuscan cuisine / Lucca, a medieval city on a human scale where you will also find, so to speak: good food and a moment of serenity. Does that seem like little to you? Bis. 19/07/2025: Ocupada pizzería alegre a 10 minutos tierra adentro del paseo marítimo. Personal amable que nunca dejó de trabajar mientras estuvimos allí. El menú está realmente limitado a las pizzas, pero tienen una amplia gama (todos alrededor de 8 - 10 €) excelente relación calidad-precio, utilizando ingredientes frescos. Algunos entrantes pero sin ensaladas. La mayoría de la gente estaba comiendo fuera, pero éramos más felices dentro (posiblemente más fresco) donde era más tranquilo. Se llevan - también así que dependiendo del número de pedidos que usted podría tener que esperar para su comida. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida.

17/08/2025: A great experience, a classic Garfagnana trattoria where you eat well and pay a fair price. The zucchini and mushroom lasagna was excellent. I wanted to highlight the excellent service; despite the crowds, the waiters didn't miss a thing. If I may, the only negative is the bathroom, which, being a one-stop shop, isn't sufficient, and there's always a line. We'll be back. Recommended
