La qualità e la quantità dei prodotti sono davvero eccellenti. Personalmente, ho provato un’insalata vegetariana con ingredienti particolari: un mix di insalate di campo, cavolo viola croccante, barbabietole al vapore, olive taggiasche, salsa al gorgonzola e noci, coulis di pere e polvere di cavolo nero. Un piatto davvero delizioso. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare, poiché si tratta di un locale molto ricercato, soprattutto considerando l’alta qualità dei prodotti offerti in relazione al prezzo.

25/10/2024: As soon as we walked in to this wonderful restaurant the owner Louis made us feel at home. The atmosphere and decor were a background to the excellent food and service. It is not often that you take your time eating to enjoy every mouthful. Thank you again for a fantastic evening.

22/10/2024: This, in my opinion, is the best restaurant in Lucca. Five minutes after sitting down at the table I felt like I was in Paris, in the beating heart of the French city, completely forgetting that I was in Lucca. The cuisine is delicious, they offer dishes that are not too complicated and you can feel that they use French techniques to cook, combining everything with the best Italian raw materials. I was mainly struck by two dishes, the fillet in chianti sauce and the dessert whose name I don't remember. The fillet was very tender, it melted in the mouth and the sauce with which it was accompanied made it unique, both for its goodness and originality, it was absolutely not the classic fillet that is eaten everywhere. Of the dessert, however, I was enraptured by its consistencies, many and of different types, obviously the taste also left nothing to be desired. They have a fair selection of wines, obviously there is a lot of France in this cellar. The service is very convivial and attentive, you feel at home here, congratulations indeed. As for the decor, I have nothing to say because it left me speechless. For anyone who has been to Paris, coming here is an emotion.

14/12/2024: Everything is nice, it's a shame that all the pastas they have are too elaborate, sauces and creams to add flavour, when a tomato pasta and a nice ragù would be enough... which doesn't exist because it's vegetarian, fewer flavours, fewer ingredients and simpler recipes that would be the best thing

07/12/2024: This restaurant was recommended on a Facebook page I follow. First night in Lucca, we stumbled across it. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily they managed to accommodate us. The food was so good that we booked for the next evening and were recognised as having been there the previous night. There was a third visit the next night and would have been a 4th for hubby's birthday, but they were, regrettably, closed. We throughly enjoyed each visit, with a different dish each night. Great food and great staff who made us feel welcome. Definitely will go back.

19/09/2024: The pastas also taste good and are of decent quality but the problem is the staff. I am referring in particular to a fairly young girl with light eyes who is often at the counter. If you hesitate for 3 seconds to choose the pastries or sandwiches she already looks at you badly and you can see that she is annoyed. Not to mention if you "dare" ask her a question. But has no one ever told you how to relate to customers when working in contact with the public? I'm sorry but next time I'll spend my money elsewhere. EDIT After the owner's response, I would like to point out that this is the pastry shop, NOT ANY OTHER. The girl in question is always there on duty and in August she was the only youngest on duty, so I think it's easy for you to spot her. He may not have light eyes (I don't remember exactly) but he is a bit "chubby" and is quite young.
