26/11/2025: One of Lucca's oldest and most highly regarded restaurants. The "Osteria a S. Antonio" was mentioned in a document from 1782 and the current Buca di Sant'Antonio is listed in the Michelin Guide.
The food is great (chef was amazing), service is top notch (but also friendly & fun), and atmosphere is old-world homey (especially if home is full of copper pots/pans, antiques, and brass instruments).

Everything was delicious!!

02/11/2025: This exceptional and well-run restaurant has become a go-to place for us in Viareggio when we want to eat well. The chef's attention to detail and quality are evident in every dish, and they also have an excellent wine cellar! Highly recommended.
11/10/2025: Excellent experience. An elegant and refined restaurant with excellent dishes from both land and sea. Every dish is a feast for the eyes and the palate. Top-notch wine list. Super friendly staff. Prices commend the restaurant and the menu.

06/12/2025: First affordable place I've found upon entering Montepulciano, and honestly, it lives up to its hype. The first courses are plentiful and succulent. I haven't tried the appetizers or main courses, but I imagine they're on the same wavelength. The glass of wine is a bit pricey. Overall, it's good, although one room is a bit small.
01/12/2025: There were 3 of us and we tried the excellent cured meats and cheeses, two first courses of fettuccine with white ragù, chestnuts and incredible mushrooms, and a second course of dreamy duck, not to mention the chocolate dessert, an experience to remember, go and you will not be disappointed!

Staying at Vinarkia is a pleasure that, when you pass through Lucca, you must treat yourself because everything about this place is right.

15/11/2025: We happened upon Barga by chance, and while wandering around the town center, we dropped in without a reservation. The staff has always been extremely courteous and cheerful. A great team of young, friendly people.
We ate very well: excellent Garfagnana tordelli, a truly tender and flavorful Argentinian steak. The highlight (for me) was the dessert, a crème brûlée with a truly unique flavor.
02/11/2025: My wife and I went there last night just for a good cappuccino...with our black Labrador! A relaxing atmosphere, a breathtaking view of the valley, and a cappuccino foam shaped like a ❤️—what more could you want?
