We ate here last night and it was the best food we've had in Italy this holiday, which is saying something as the quality of the food here is excellent. The staff are very hospitable and speak excellent English. The chef appeared a number of times to speak to guests. We enjoyed our experience here so much that, despite many good options, we came back again tonight.

We stopped for lunch on Easter Sunday with two medium-sized dogs, and they didn't make a fuss. We had a lovely mixed platter, two glasses of red wine, water, and two plates of pici with meat sauce. Everything was really good, with the first course being plentiful... especially the meat! All in all, €72.

Our experience at this trattoria was simply outstanding and definitely the best we've had in Tuscany so far.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptionally friendly and attentive service – warm, professional, and just the right amount of presence.
The food was simply divine: The pici al ragù were perfectly al dente and incredibly aromatic. The gnocchi with artichokes were tender and bursting with flavor, while the tagliarini with calamari impressed with their freshness and refinement. The ravioli alla chef were also an absolute highlight – creative, perfectly balanced, and simply delicious.
This was complemented by an excellent Vino Nobile, which perfectly paired the dishes. The superb olive oil and balsamic vinegar also deserve special mention – of the highest quality and a true taste sensation.
The crowning glory was the dessert: the best tiramisu we've ever eaten – creamy, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable.
Overall, a perfect restaurant experience with excellent food, great service, and an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. Highly recommended – we'll be back!

A week in the Tuscan region and staying in a hotel in Montepulciano, by far the most charming trattoria in terms of welcome and delicious, fresh food. Go there without hesitation, unlike some other places in Montepulciano... Grazie Ahmed and Suzy... C and V
