05/05/2026: We ate at this small but cute restaurant-pizzeria. There wasn't much room between the tables, so I had to step away from the stroller. Overall, the evening was a great one. The lady who served us was very kind. The pizza was too thin for my personal taste, but the toppings were excellent. Dessert was delicious, different from the usual.

14/04/2026: We went there for lunch today. They are absolutely lovely and hospitable there. We shared a pizza and the pappardelle bianco di chianina con pecorino (at least that’s how I remember it. It was fantastic, great prices, and a really nice staff. We should have eaten inside, it was quite loud with traffic but we had bikes so we needed to watch them. I would definitely eat there again.

21/10/2025: A classic restaurant. Our dishes were tasty, but not exciting. A decent wine list. Friendly staff. We were seated in the cellar, which we didn't like.

15/02/2026: This is my first time here! To call it idyllic is an understatement. The location is fantastic! An old mill beautifully renovated by the owners. Surrounded by a beautiful stream, it creates a fairytale atmosphere. The food! Spectacular, all locally sourced, from their farm. I had their own ham, aged for 40 months, as an appetizer, accompanied by excellent crostini and cheeses. The Lucchese tordelli were among the best I've ever tasted! For my second course, I had fried chicken, which I hadn't eaten this good since I was a child. The portions are way too large! All accompanied by an excellent bottle of wine from their well-stocked cellar. All for €40! A special mention goes to the owner, a young woman of extreme kindness and cordiality, who serves in the dining room. Thank you for the fantastic experience. We'll be back soon!

10/04/2026: We celebrated my wife's birthday last week and had a great time! The place is perfect because it has private parking and two separate spaces for events. The owner, Luca, was very kind and helped me organize everything, preparing drinks, platters, and dessert. We spent a fair amount and everything was delicious! Highly recommended!

28/01/2026: Excellent place, after the bad news of its closure at the end of the year, the good news is that it's reopening with a truly talented chef from Casoli, apparently, along with the help of Rita and, I hope, the old staff, who are truly brilliant. It would have been a shame if it hadn't happened.

10/04/2026: The place is very small, simple, and spartan. What matters, however, is the pizza: excellent. I've been coming to Versilia since I was a child, and this is the best pizza I've ever had in this area. Obviously recommended, but don't go if you're more interested in appearance than food: you won't find it here, but you'll definitely find quality and substance.

07/12/2025: Last night, by chance, while wandering the streets of Lucca's city center, we were struck by a soft light. We approached and went in to ask if there was a place for two; luckily, there was still a table available. I don't usually write reviews, but this time it was definitely worth it... A super evening... Amazing dishes, top-quality products, a fantastic atmosphere with an extra touch. Thanks to Luis's hospitality, who carefully explained all of David's dishes to us. Highly recommended, a fantastic experience for the palate and the mood. Thanks Luis and David. We'll definitely be back.

21/11/2025: Absolutely love it, and really glad we order the tiramisu, the orange favor brings it to the next level, it’s one of the must try dessert here.

12/03/2026: This restaurant was like being in someone’s home. Very cozy atmosphere. The wine list was impressive. The menu was extensive. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend if you were looking for a fine dining experience.

13/04/2026: A small bar in Lucca's historic center, barely larger than a room with a few tables facing the balcony, plus another modestly sized interior room. They also offer lunch service, with frozen products and no "artisanal" preparations, as they lack a proper kitchen. The dessert display is disappointing: only frozen croissants, along with a fruit tart and an Easter dove cake that are anything but pleasing to the eye. Then there are many processed products (candies, chocolates, cookies, Easter eggs, etc.) from more or less well-known brands, including Venchi. The coffee quality is barely passable. The service is friendly, yet aloof. The prices for croissants and coffee are average, but very high for processed products. In response to the owner: no "unfair criticism," just a REASONED and factually supported viewpoint. The display is sparse, with croissants clearly frozen (the fact that they come from an external supplier makes no difference). A tart and a colomba cake, sad to even look at. And then nothing else available: quite respectful for a place founded a hundred years ago. And yes, I confirm, Venchi, Majani & Co. ARE industrial products. Excellent quality, but industrial products nonetheless. They urgently need to reconsider. ;)
