28/11/2025: Terrible evening. Let's start with the fact that they managed to take a reservation made the day before, a 30-minute wait, a table snatched up so easily. Then, in 2025, the fact that there's no menu is already hilarious. I asked for a certain type of wine, but a completely different one arrived, without a seau a glace due to one of the waitresses' many oversights. The food was average, nothing exceptional. Then, at the end of the dinner, I asked for dessert and coffee. We decided to think about it for two minutes, and the waitress disappeared into thin air after a whopping 40 minutes.
I'll definitely speak badly of it to anyone who asks me for advice.

I visited this gelato shop during the Lucca Comics & Games 2025 event. It's located on one of the streets in the historic center, not far from the Church of San Michele. The interior isn't very spacious, but there's a counter with a refrigerator for pre-made desserts. I ordered a cup with three flavors created by the shop using top-quality ingredients. I found the gelato delicious, creamy, and flavorful. The prices are fair considering the generous portions. A must-see for artisanal gelato lovers.

06/11/2025: Old world feel with photos of guests over the years on the wall. We were there at lunch in late September. The owner was there greeting everyone and taking orders. He let us know what was fresh that day, he was very helpful and the food was delicious. Very comfortable setting.

Ideal for group dinners and banquets. From appetizers to desserts, drinks and coffee included, all at reasonable prices. Quality home cooking. Ample parking inside.
New management, completely different from the "historic" one. A more "trendy" place, but not for lovers of tradition.

06/10/2025: Unique pizza restaurant in Lucca.
Experts at fried appetizers, the battered zucchini flowers were the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy and nice and salty. The mozarella cheese balls were also light and crispy. I wanted to go back and just order 4 plates of the zucchini flowers!
Interesting choice of drinks, my campari spritz was very strong, but I enjoyed it.
I regretted my pizza choice though, a porchini mushroom one. It made the pizza soggy and the toppings fell off.
The dough was upgraded to a charcoal one which looked impressive, I'd just recommend keeping the pizza itself simple / dry. The crust was perfect.
