06/10/2025: "La Bontà del Passo" is a trattoria where you can still find authentic, local fare. It's perfect for a quick snack featuring cured meats or cheeses, or even a more substantial lunch. A fantastic location with a view of the entire mountain range, so close you can almost touch it. Good food, good service, and a great price. Recommended.

02/10/2025: We went here for lunch. The waiter bullied 2 of us into getting the Mexican burger. It truly was the best burger. I’m glad he bullied us. The fries were also great and the little dipping sauce was the best ever. Bravo, chef! I’m now 40 billion miles away. But the next time I’m in the area, I’m coming back just for that meal.

30/09/2025: Super sweet staff. The tartar with smoke Haring is amazing! We eat carbonara and risotto and tiramisu, and we loved it all. Definitely recommended!!

08/09/2025: The staff was very friendly and attentive, even down to the smallest details (they even left a plastic cup and a small fork for our little girl without us having to ask). We had tortelli lucchesi, a beef fillet, and two desserts. The tortelli were very good and flavorful. The fillet was very tender, and the meat was excellent. The desserts were also good.

29/08/2025: We dined in the dining room. They served excellent schiacciatine, a first course of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and baked potatoes. All accompanied by excellent local wine.

17/10/2025: Explaining this culinary experience isn't easy. We're a couple from the Canary Islands on our honeymoon (on our last day of the trip, we wanted to try something special) since we work with people, and my partner is the cook. Ratatouille is our favorite childhood movie, and finding this place was especially exciting. The funny thing is that after dinner and ordering dessert (after mentioning how much we loved the movie), they offered us a dish (Ratatouille), and just like in the movie, I started crying like a little kid because of the countless emotions this dish brought back to my mind. This place is much more than a restaurant; it's a tribute to cuisine, to the love of ingredients, and a place where eating is much more than just sitting in front of a plate... The funny thing is that this movie takes place in France, but we enjoyed the Italian version of the same name. Thank you for reaching people's hearts through food ❤️❤️❤️❤️ If you decide to come, let yourself be pampered by the magic of a unique and special place.

18/10/2025: It's a book bar... finally, truly like that, not a sad attempt! A shop selling organic products, herbal teas, necklaces, books... with a real, well-organized bar corner! The effort to offer vegan products, more digestible pizzas, and various plant-based drinks is interesting! Sugar is almost completely banned 😅, which is a good thing. The lady is very cheerful and positive! I'll be back!

04/10/2025: I visited the restaurant for lunch. They have a vegan menu listed in their menu book but was told that none of the vegan items were available. Also they have no vegan milks for coffee - no soy milk, no oat, milk, nothing. This is very strange for a restaurant that supposedly has a vegan menu. The staff was quite unfriendly when I asked about milk alternatives for coffee. The staff acted like they did not want to be there. And there were only 2 tables in the whole restaurant. They acted like it was surprising that I asked, even when their menu listed vegan food. Nearly every bar and café in italy has at least latte di soia but not this place.

02/10/2025: I'm celiac and vegetarian, so it's not easy to find a restaurant that meets my needs. The food is excellent, with homemade vegetables and jams. I found a wide selection and impeccable attention to detail. The location is spectacular in the summer, with the outdoor area but also welcoming inside. It's typically Tuscan, with a mandolato-style upper dining room. Highly recommended. Everyone was great, from the kitchen to the dining room.

10/10/2025: Absolutely worth a try! Excellent cuisine and a fantastic atmosphere. The inn is very welcoming, and the slightly vintage and unique decor creates a truly pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate excellent fish, incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked, for a reasonable price. Highly recommended for those looking for good food and a place to relax.

13/09/2025: I was there the other night; it's a simple but impressive place. Various menu, excellent tordelli with ragù, and good pizza! Reservations are recommended; it's a popular place! I highly recommend it!

06/10/2025: Unique pizza restaurant in Lucca. Experts at fried appetizers, the battered zucchini flowers were the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy and nice and salty. The mozarella cheese balls were also light and crispy. I wanted to go back and just order 4 plates of the zucchini flowers! Interesting choice of drinks, my campari spritz was very strong, but I enjoyed it. I regretted my pizza choice though, a porchini mushroom one. It made the pizza soggy and the toppings fell off. The dough was upgraded to a charcoal one which looked impressive, I'd just recommend keeping the pizza itself simple / dry. The crust was perfect.
