28/04/2025: We ate in this Osteria for lunch and the place is easily found when entering Lucca from Porta Elisa and going towards the centre. Very kind and quality food, we recommend the tagliolini with truffle (because with real truffle flakes). We gave the place 4 stars, only because it is a small place, but very nice and well kept.

20/05/2025: Il voto è molto buono. Ma nasce da una media. Se avessi valutato i pici all'aglione, i taglieri di salumi (comunque buoni) e i vini mi sarei limitato ad una valutazione di sufficienza: 3. MA. Non si può uscire da questo locale senza aver provato la MERAVIGLIA assoluta del lampredotto! Qui davvero siamo all'asintoto della trippa! Un sapore meraviglioso, una consistenza che si sfalda in bocca! Se fosse per il lampredotto avrei dato l'eccellenza assoluta! Media: molto buono!

06/05/2025: Nice place for a break during our walk in Barga! It is a very nice town, in this bar we found a lot of kindness, good wines and perfect limoncello spritzes! We were sitting on their terrace, the view was really fantastic!

27/05/2025: This is a family-run place that also has a food counter. It offers very respectable lunches for workers. The portions are generous and the dishes are tasty. The focaccia is good and the meat carpaccio is excellent, I have never eaten anything so good. The prices are more than fair. The staff is kind and helpful.

06/04/2025: I had dinner last night, brought by friends. I had already been there once but I didn't have a good memory. The external room, going down the stairs, is closed by a tensile structure with false plants on the ceiling, a little sad for my tastes. There was an unbearable smell of sewage, there were manhole covers under our feet precisely because we were on the side of the road. Flying insect. Unfortunately, almost finished dinner, I got a stomach ache and it continued all night. I ate an appetizer of 5 tastings, good, a pepper of mussels, nothing special, and the excellent dessert, baked fruit with a scoop of ice cream. Wine and water. Euro 50. I'm sorry to make this review, but there wasn't a minimum of attention given to the customer.

01/06/2025: Booked by chance. The detour is absolutely worth it. Classic but perfect environment: welcoming, clean, tidy. The staff is uniquely kind. People who know how to do their job: at a glance they noticed that some supposedly older women behind us were suffering from the draft from the French window and closed it a little. It's perhaps silly, but the customers didn't have to ask. Even though it was a communion lunch, we didn't wait any longer than it took to prepare the courses. Everything was excellent: top quality. We had a mixed appetizer of croutons, cheese and cold cuts with fried pasta, fillet and lamb chops. Everything was perfect. Cooked as requested. The tiramisu is the envy of mine. And those who know me...know!!!! The price was right, even a little low! Small outdoor garden with sofas for relaxing before/after lunch/dinner. View of the valley and parking. If it weren't for the fact that I'm too far away, I would come back regularly!
