Hotel le Rotonde In Massarosa

The hotel is very nice, with a pool, garden, small children's playground, pool bar (which wasn't open in May), and a very good restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our well-being, and we had a lovely room with two balconies. There was also a lift, but it was quite slow. Large communal terraces offered stunning views of the lake. There was a wooden shed for storing our bikes and a large parking area for the car. The only drawback was the small breakfast room in the basement, which I personally found uninviting, but breakfast itself was adequate.

Good location in a quiet area right in front of Lake Massaciuccoli. Excellent services and good food, an excellent base for visiting Lucca and the Viareggio Riviera and beyond. Prices are reasonable.

Rated only as a restaurant. Excellent location for Lucca and the LIPU oasis. Food is ok. Portions are not large but good quality.

Quality food, super friendly staff (kudos to all the waiters), cute place, and a beautiful location (a visit to the oasis and their park is a must). The only flaw is the portions aren't very generous, but overall, it's an excellent restaurant.

The place is spacious and well-kept. The staff is attentive and courteous. We ate very well.

We went for lunch on May 1st, so this is just a review of the food, not the hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It was busy, but we found a seat, and everyone was very friendly. But let's talk about the dishes. My husband had spaghetti allo scoglio, which he said was delicious, and a very, very good tuna (it looked really good). I had an excellent fried fish platter, salad, and a good sorbet. We had a good time, and the price was fair. The wait was normal. I definitely think we'll be back.

We stayed at this hotel for Valentine's Day, where we stayed one night and spent the evening dining with live music, and we ate very well. Compliments to the owner and staff.

We stayed in this hotel for Easter and I must say that it is very welcoming, clean, smiling staff, varied breakfast, next to the structure there is a nature reserve with a beautiful walk to do, furthermore the structure is in an excellent position for excursions in Versilia to the sea, Lake Massaciuccoli with Puccini's house, Pisa, Lucca... we will definitely return
