The interior, dominated by a large wine display and wooden furnishings, creates an intimate and refined atmosphere. The location is immersed in greenery and surrounded by a backdrop of greenery and light, making it perfect for events and celebrations. The dishes we tried were all excellent, from the divine pici all'aglione to the tender and flavorful pork ribs, even the vegetable flan, pumpkin risotto, and cauliflower cooked three times. We also celebrated a baptism here and were warmly welcomed by the owner and the wait staff, who were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional, contributing to a serene and festive atmosphere. All our guests were won over by the hospitality, the cuisine, and the beauty of the venue. Very fair prices. An excellent experience, where cuisine, atmosphere, and attention to detail come together perfectly.

01/06/2026: Delicious ice cream, very kind and friendly staff, all lactose-free flavors are delicious, especially the gianduia. For someone who is used to always eating the same flavors, you have a huge choice here, I recommend it to everyone.

11/05/2026: Trattoria da Elena is one of my favorite places, nestled in the small village of Tereglio. It's reached via a very challenging road, but it's worth the trip. In my humble opinion, they make the best tordelli in the area. When I'm in the area for work, I always happily stop by.

28/04/2026: Fantastic! We ate ‘Al fresco’ outdoors in front of a midevil church. Authentic local fare- excellent home style cooking and menu. Wildly reasonable prices. Nestled in Tereglio, quaint village built along a mountain ridge. The walk through the village was like an outdoor museum. Friendly folks going about their daily business. Not touristy. Amazing views. Ask in ‘Da Elena’ for the key to see the photo exhibit of the of the village, beside the church.

18/06/2026: I've never eaten a pizza like this in the last 50 years. The dough is paper-thin, yet you can pick up a corner without the middle collapsing. The use of wooden plates is also brilliant. Who hasn't experienced this problem: you want to cut the pizza, but it slides around on the porcelain plate. Thank you for everything.

11/06/2026: BEST SCHIMATA EVER: delicious piadinas, a wide variety, fair prices, and friendly staff. I've been there many times (even sober) and it's always delicious. Highly recommended are the "Atomica," the "Milanese," and the sweet piadinas with Nutella and mascarpone. If you want to eat in, I recommend takeout because there are benches, but they're very busy, especially in the evening.

We truly appreciated the meticulous attention to detail, starting with the elegant white ceramic plates embossed with a delicate yellow cone-shaped logo. Each course was crafted with almost artistic precision, transforming the meal into a truly sensory journey that captivated us. Everything was excellent. We will definitely return to relive this special atmosphere.

09/06/2026: Typical Lucca cuisine, the food is excellent, and the view of the Lucca plain is enchanting. The restaurant's windowed terrace is lovely. The prices are in line with the quality and size of the dishes, and are still fair. The restaurant is clean, and the service is excellent. We will definitely be back.

12/07/2026: I have only two words for this place: authenticity and wonder. The restaurant is nestled in a cultivated and wooded valley, its location affording a Garden of Eden-like view. The sense of peace is immense; a dinner here is as rejuvenating as a week's vacation! Almost all of the products used on the menu are homegrown. The steamed and grilled vegetable dishes with chickpea hummus and peanut, thyme, and lemon pesto are a must.

14/07/2026: This is a hidden gem of the entire Italy. We have been traveling around Italy since a month and this is probably the best pastry shop in Gelateria.

10/06/2026: I attended a pre-wedding reception where we were catered by the owner and staff. All extremely friendly, and food was delightful. The choice of wines on offer were very good and the evening was quite special.

27/03/2026: Excellent gelato!!! The only advice I can give to anyone reading this—and to the shop's manager—is that those who, like many others, suffer from perfume allergies may have problems when coming in for gelato. It would be wise not to use that much perfume in an gelato shop.
