A wide selection of Ligurian and Tuscan dishes, featuring high-quality ingredients and cuisine, with generous portions and affordable prices.
Friendly staff and impeccable service. We asked for a small plate with samples of three cakes from the menu, and they obliged without any hesitation or surprises on the bill.
A true trattoria! Definitely worth returning.
02/06/2026: You absolutely must try their platters! The food is plentiful, with traditional flavors and very reasonable prices. Not to mention the stunning mountain views!

21/09/2025: Since I was passing through Garfagnana, I absolutely had to stay at the Belvedere.
Tiziano is a guarantee of kindness and hospitality.
His nephew Gino is surpassing him as a gracious host.
Dinner was fantastic, as always, and the rooms were clean and welcoming.
What can I say... They can't seem to amaze me anymore...
I feel more and more at home.
Thanks to Tiziano, Gino, and all the staff...

01/06/2026: We had a terrible experience. The menu didn't arrive for 30 minutes. Then it took another 10 minutes for them to take our orders. After that, it took another 30 minutes for the first dish to arrive. All the other dishes arrived gradually over the next half hour. So everyone ended up eating alone. On top of that, all the pizzas were inedible. When we told them, they offered flimsy excuses for their poor service and didn't even apologize. When we suggested we pay only 50% as a compromise, they threatened to call the police. In the end, they didn't acknowledge their poor service but accepted our offer.
So, in short, this restaurant is absolutely not recommended. That's all water under the bridge now. Something drastic must have changed in recent years.
10/05/2026: Excellent place, reasonably priced, with a warm and friendly atmosphere and service. Definitely worth a visit.

23/08/2025: It's a small restaurant in a tiny village in Garfagnana, very close to Lunigiana. The food is excellent, with a wide selection of both first and second courses. The ingredients are top-quality. For large groups, please let them know in advance that you're paying "Roman style," otherwise they might be a bit of a pain. I also recommend it because it's a very relaxing and quiet place.

29/09/2025: I'm so damned if I'll ever go back! I remember the discrimination when asking for a racial vaccination pass very well. You're the dogs of hope...lucky other restaurants were simply civil.
08/09/2025: Classic restaurant with traditional food. Informal atmosphere. A lovely lunch with tagliatelle and homemade sauce, just like in the old days! Very good. The location on Mount Argegna is enchanting. A lovely lawn to relax in.

20/04/2026: If you go to Garfagnana, I highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The food is delicious and local, the prices are excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's very good. Oh, and I'll add the full fixed-price menu.

01/05/2026: May 1st was ruined by the theft of four helmets, later found nearby, resting on motorcycles in the shade of the restaurant parking lot, 20 meters from the dining room, visible even from inside. While we were eating lunch, someone decided to approach the motorcycles, take the helmets, and hide them nearby. Two were found in a fountain of rocks, and two more were thrown down a slope. Luckily, before giving up and looking for a ride, we searched the surrounding meadow and found them, scratched on both the helmet shell and visor. So if you happen to come by motorcycle, don't trust the quiet location; bring them inside.

23/09/2025: Terrible experience, for reasons I'll list below.
1. Shortly before arrival, they moved us to another building far from the pool. We had to drive to get there.
2. The hot water wasn't working; we had to call the owners.
3. There was no shower mat in the bathroom, no towel, no soap.
4. The pool was unusable (maybe due to the weather, but it's still unfair).
And the main thing, which makes me give it one star, is that NO ONE warned that there would be dogs roaming around the villa. I love dogs, but since no one warned, it's absolutely not okay. Furthermore, one of them stole my bag—which contained my swimsuit, towel, and sunglasses—and it was found the next morning completely broken, including my swimsuit (paid €30, and ready to be thrown away). After finding it, I saw the owner, who was in the garden, and told her. His response was “the dog is a stray, we can't catch him”…
22/09/2025: I don't know how they ended up working in the hospitality industry. They try their hardest, but with little success... apartments in dilapidated conditions, clearly rented "illegible." Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.
