07/12/2025: Last night, by chance, while wandering the streets of Lucca's city center, we were struck by a soft light. We approached and went in to ask if there was a place for two; luckily, there was still a table available. I don't usually write reviews, but this time it was definitely worth it... A super evening... Amazing dishes, top-quality products, a fantastic atmosphere with an extra touch. Thanks to Luis's hospitality, who carefully explained all of David's dishes to us. Highly recommended, a fantastic experience for the palate and the mood. Thanks Luis and David. We'll definitely be back.

21/11/2025: Absolutely love it, and really glad we order the tiramisu, the orange favor brings it to the next level, it’s one of the must try dessert here.

30/12/2025: Classic Tuscan Osteria. The host and waiters are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lory, a special woman from another era. Traditional, excellent food. Good value. If you're in Lucca, you can't miss lunch here.

15/11/2025: The staff was very friendly and professional, from booking to welcoming and serving guests during the meal. The stay was very pleasant. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. I really appreciated this level of customer service.

Pleasant wellness area. To be picky, the dinner restaurant could be improved for its value, but everything was very much appreciated.

10/01/2026: Epiphany lunch before heading up to the Befana in Barga. An overall pleasant experience for the food, service, and ambiance. Definitely worth repeating when they return from their well-deserved vacation.

13/10/2025: A family-run restaurant, very cute and welcoming. The tables and chairs are very comfortable. The staff and service are exceptional, fast and polite. The food is absolutely excellent, the best tagliata I've ever had in terms of flavor and cooking. They also offer gluten-free options. A truly wonderful place. Definitely worth a try.

20/12/2025: Beautiful location, surrounded by greenery, inside a Tuscan farmhouse, meticulously maintained, with a large and charming outdoor garden for summer dining. Impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is delicious, featuring traditional Tuscan dishes with plenty of game.

06/12/2025: First affordable place I've found upon entering Montepulciano, and honestly, it lives up to its hype. The first courses are plentiful and succulent. I haven't tried the appetizers or main courses, but I imagine they're on the same wavelength. The glass of wine is a bit pricey. Overall, it's good, although one room is a bit small.

10/09/2025: Excellent gelato, it's a regular stop every time I pass by. Very friendly, reasonable prices. Excellent quality ingredients, never boring flavors, and the milk tastes delicious. You can tell it's handmade, so don't go anywhere else! Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: In the center of Altopascio, in a quaint setting, we visited for lunch in mid-November 2025. The intimate, family-friendly restaurant welcomes you warmly and simply, introducing you to the restaurant's philosophy—primarily a spaghetti restaurant serving traditional and daily express dishes. For two, we chose tagliolini of the day (garlic, oil, and chili pepper with broccoli) and spaghetti alla pirata (similar to puttanesca, with olives and capers, spicy). We began with an excellent and generous appetizer of raw ham (Tuscan and flavorful, excellent) and freshly seasoned pecorino cheese. The appetizer was delicious, and the first courses were excellent (prepared on the spot and perfectly al dente). A quart of wine, water, and two coffees, for €47. Fast and discreet service. In short, an excellent stop for a traditional yet high-quality business lunch, although not cheap.
