01/04/2024: I shared a family lunch in this location, I must honestly say that we had a good time! The place is clean and the staff are courteous, dishes well prepared, if I were to return to Gallicano I will certainly return.

02/04/2024: Perfect dinner just outside the walls of Lucca. A place that offers high quality cuisine suitable for everyone with choices of both meat and fish. The girl in the dining room is super kind and available to explain the cooking proposal. There is the possibility of choosing the fixed price menu consisting of 2 or 3 dishes chosen from the menu (absolutely recommended, includes water, coffee and cover charge) or just one dish from the menu. What makes the difference is the quality and quantity of the food as well as the presentation at the reception. Added value is the spritz offered as soon as you sit down and the welcome entré before starting dinner. If you pass through Lucca you absolutely must stop!

25/03/2024: A pleasant discovery: the menu does not present the usual proposals and makes you curious to try everything. The dishes are very good and well prepared, even entertaining in some of the presentations. Aurora is extraordinary in the dining room and makes you feel at home straight away. The prices are definitely correct for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!!!

07/04/2024: We went last night to this restaurant in the center of Lucca, just behind the main church square. We ate really well. All the dishes were amazing. I had the very tasty tortelli Lucchesi, my friend a very good fish first course. We then split a wild boar stew, which was really good, with a side of cannellini beans. In addition to the excellent food, the staff is also really kind and attentive to your every need. They served us quickly, making sure everything was fine several times. At the end, when we went to pay, we also made some jokes with the nice girl at the checkout who also offered us two sweets. We took 2 first courses, a second course, 1 glass of wine and a water and we spent €58. Considering the quality of the food and kindness, absolutely justified. A place where I will definitely return when I return to Lucca. Congratulations to the staff and the owner for their work and commitment. Keep it up

05/04/2024: What a special texture, it turns out to be walnuts 😂😂 I like the white spaghetti 😃creamy, it has a real feeling, it’s nuts 👍🏼 The staff are so warm and provide good service😄 Feel the taste and comfort of the guests👍🏼

07/04/2024: In addition to the stupendous view there was something off the menu that drives me crazy... The gnudi! Well done! I was satisfied with the starters and first courses with homemade pasta which is really good. Good wine and kind service. All went well. Even the bill. 40 euros each for a generous starter, a first course, a bottle of wine, plenty of water and a wonderful dessert... Divine tiramisu... In one of their variations, i.e. cooked, it is delicious. Tart tatin made with all the love possible... In short, I went out for a walk in the village with a smile on my lips and a happy belly!

26/03/2024: Food was fabulous. Clams with candied lemon peel- magnifico. Service very good and friendly. We also were serenaded by one of the Choral teams in Lucca for the Vox Lucensis competition- buona fortuna Norvegia!

04/04/2024: Charming ambience in colonial style. Very authentic, friendly and courteous service. Excellent food, special requests were catered for. Regional and homemade specialties. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and thank you for a lovely evening!

02/04/2024: On the advice of a local person we came to eat in this place last Boxing Day and we fell in love with it. The cuisine is really good, each dish is artfully made, rich in flavor and well presented. The staff and owner are all very courteous and approachable. At Easter we decided to always go back for a family lunch, there was a very abundant fixed menu (even too much!!!), we ate very well, also for the children at the table they had eggs to color and drawings and markers, which they greatly appreciated. It's now our favorite restaurant in the area, we're not local but we always go there when we can!!

11/02/2024: Unfortunately, I hadn't been back to eat at Luis and David's for a few years, and it was a wonderful rediscovery. The environment is always splendid, intimate and warm, with attention to every detail. The cuisine is amazing and the hospitality is equally amazing. I can't wait to go back already!

29/01/2024: An unconventional restaurant where you can appreciate refined and attentive cuisine which combines flavors that are not typical of the area but which blend well with the Tuscan tradition. The owner Luis knows how to welcome and create a convivial atmosphere without excesses of protagonism and his experience acquired over years of life spent in Paris is found in the flavor of the very French setup that he has reconstructed in his restaurant. The only note is that the cost is a little over the top, although quality and service can allow us to indulge in this aspect........

30/03/2024: We came here for dinner during the Easter holidays, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Well-kept restaurant, fast and friendly service, very good traditional Tuscan dishes with a great choice. The meat is excellent! Excellent price/quality!

26/02/2024: Ecco un indirizzo da scoprire: la coppia che gestisce tutto fa sentire subito la loro passione, già come viene descritto il menu, capiamo che amano il loro lavoro e lo fanno con grande garbo. Non manca la chiacchierata con tutti e i consigli giusti. Ho pranzato due giorni di seguito in questo locale con una collega e ci siamo goduti tutto. Ve lo consiglio vivamente.
