24/11/2025: Hello. I didn't go shopping at LIDL this evening, but I did go shopping at MD, near the Grosseto bus station. I was very disappointed; I bought some cheese that had gone bad inside.
13/10/2025: Affordable, and many products are of good quality, even though they aren't well-known brands. The meat counter is good, with a nice refrigerator for aging.

02/11/2025: We had breakfast and dinner here every day during our stay. I can't understand the bad reviews from the complaining German tourists. I had the Florentine, tuna pizza, and wild boar ragout. Everything was excellent. The owners were incredibly friendly and chatted with us for a while. They even gave us a parting gift because we'd been there every day. You reap what you sow. If you behave well, you'll be treated accordingly.
03/10/2025: Great, authentic restaurant with friendly service, very good food, and excellent wine. Even the children were given a very warm welcome.

Really good, although not too spicy.
25/10/2025: Very cute place inside, excellent service, and traditional but well-made food. The fried porcini mushrooms are a delight, the first courses are delicious, both tagliatelle and pici with mushrooms/meat ragù or white ragù. The wild boar pepeso is exceptional. The desserts are also superb... tiramisu, apple pie, and apricot tart. Excellent!

28/09/2025: Stopping by for lunch on the way back to Florence, we tried two first courses: seafood ravioli and spaghetti with clams, both sold for €16 each. The portions were truly ridiculous, at that price at least double what we were served—four ravioli, counted, and no more than 80 grams of spaghetti. When we asked for half a liter of white wine, we were offered the house wine, which, however, came in a 375ml bottle, a 13.5% ABV Pitigliano white wine that wasn't even a Chianti red. They should have told us this before opening it and pouring it into our glasses; it was far too heavy for a light lunch. The service was good, courtesy of a waiter of North African origin, although they and the owner insisted on having a Bangladeshi boy who didn't understand a word of Italian perform basic tasks, often using obvious reprimands, which was somewhat embarrassing for the customers. The restaurant is a trattoria-style establishment, with attempts at modernization that haven't entirely succeeded. Total 53 euros, with two coffees at the end. I commented on the quantities to the owner at the cashier, who actually thought they were overstocked because they were too much instead of too little... who knows! Did he try to pretend they usually serve more substantial dishes? Who knows! We certainly won't be giving away an undeserved amount of money again.

Non entro nel merito della scelta della materia prima che potrebbe anche essere di qualità ma il risultato finale è decisamente basso rispetto al parametro gusto che per una pasticceria dovrebbe essere essenziale. Bignè molle, panna troppo burrosa, zabaione si sente pochissimo è praticamente crema, infine la crema è ammassata quasi insapore.
questo per quanto riguarda la pasticceria mignon.
16/02/2025: La pasticceria si trova in un punto strategico sul lungomare di marina di Grosseto, si può sorseggiare un cappuccino guardando il mare. Abbiamo preso 2 cappuccini buoni, un caffè e due dolci. La crostata era dura, mentre la lemontarte era buona. Peccato che il titolare sia una oersona priva di empatia e cortesia, sembra quasi che tu gli dia fastidio, con un espressione scocciata e infastidita. Peccato perché avrebbe un grosso potenziale..nn ci tornerò più...quando si sta al pubblico ci si comporta diversamente.

22/10/2025: I've read all the reviews and am amazed at what's been written about this place. Knowing fish means knowing how to appreciate freshness and flavor. As a Versilian raw fish enthusiast, I put this place first for the quality and deliciousness of the fresh fish, which demonstrates that the freshness of raw fish is the foundation of the restaurant. Knowing flavor also means drinking well, and this place stocks some big-name labels. So, I'll take the liberty of naming those reviews that have written poorly about this place because they should know the quality and freshness of the product.
28/09/2025: Terrible experience, the quality of the raw materials was truly low, as was the hygiene and quality of the service. The meal was excessively expensive. Absolutely not to be repeated. If you say you have excellent quality raw materials, then buy them, because the seafood pasta sauce was worse than what you can buy frozen at a discount store. To respond to your comment, I believe you are referring to another table; there were not three of us, and I personally just tasted the tagliolini allo scoglio, which were decidedly awful, overcooked and flavorless. In fact, I left them on my plate, along with the strange mush and the shells of non-existent crustaceans... Rating for hygiene, courtesy, and food quality: 0

24/09/2025: We were very disappointed with the restaurant. The food was average and the pasta was really overcooked. The dessert didn't seem to be homemade. It's not easy to find a restaurant in the village, but it might be better to try elsewhere.
23/08/2025: We were passing through Sovana and stumbled upon this restaurant in the square just outside the town. Excellent quality products, significantly lower prices than others in the area. I'd definitely return.

17/08/2025: You have to be incredibly patient for a first course that lasted over an hour and a half, sitting at a table between 8:45 and 10:15 PM, then for the second course after 10 minutes, we hadn't even finished the first course. I won't comment on the food because I was so annoyed I didn't even feel like eating. I would have left, but out of respect for others, I stayed seated. In the end, not even an explanation was given; in fact, I was wrong. Anyway, the girl at the tables was very kind and sweet, and you could tell she was having trouble.
Nice and clean place, but the wait times were excessively long.
No more than 5/6 tables in the dining room.
Negative experience.
17/08/2025: Restaurant that enjoys an excellent view of the hill, family cuisine with good choices of land licked for the seafood choices that leave a little to be desired, inconvenient parking

25/07/2025: Such a great restaurant in the heart of Tuscany, with super friendly staff and delicious food. A rustic atmosphere, very cozy. No German, no English, everyone had a great time. Cutting pizza with scissors was the first time in my life, but I have to say, it's easier. We went there several times and were always completely satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant.

18/07/2025: It was a nice Shisha evening at the Lux Lounge. The Cocktails were amazing and bery affordable. I paid 6 € for a moscow mule. Also the Shisha was very good and served with a ice mouthpiece.

11/09/2025: I'm writing this review to share my personal experience with this pastry shop.
First of all, I'm using this space to provide genuine and objective feedback, regardless of my personal tastes.
I ordered the following pastries:
2 croissants, one hazelnut and the other white chocolate;
1 apple puff pastry;
1 cream-filled bombolone;
1 walnut and honey braid.
1 raisin swirl
And the three aspects that didn't work were:
The unrequested pastry change. The apple puff pastry was probably out of stock, and the rice cream version was added, which unfortunately no one ate because no one liked it (not the ingredients, but the taste). So, why don't you call the customer to decide which option to choose due to a lack of products?
The second aspect is the quality of some of the doughs, namely the croissant and the bombolone. The croissant was dull in color, and the dough lacked a lot of flavor (in terms of flakiness). The vanilla flavoring was much appreciated.
As for the bombolone, the dough was slightly soaked in oil and hit the palate.
The third aspect was the cream. A positive note, it was also artisanal (you could tell), but it was too much and a bit flavorless.
Aside from the braid and the rice pastry, which are perhaps industrially made, it's still worth complimenting, as the products are artisanal.
However, I strongly suggest the owners revise some of the doughs to make them even more fragrant and delicious.
I know you've been doing this for a long time (hats off to you), but as they say with any profession: "there's always something new to learn!"
14/06/2025: Breakfast with cappuccino and bombolone! The bombolone was not good at all and I'm sorry to say, the cream was awful!

01/09/2025: What can I say? A magnificent place, from the starters to the exceptional Florentine steak, the welcome was excellent.
