10/01/2025: We stayed 6 days in this "Resort" I would like to point out that the place is very beautiful with a wonderful view; Convenient to reach and the possibility of parking the car almost always easily. CONS: - Dated room, poor cleaning with towels sometimes stained and ruined; - Rich buffet but not of quality; - Poorly organized dining room staff, with the only concern of having the consumed bottles of water noted; USEFUL TIPS (Heard also from several people on site): - Given the immense outdoor space, a small playground for the many children present would be very welcome; - Put more chairs and benches under the gazebos (for after dinner), so that all people can sit relaxed and not standing; - But above all, proper evening entertainment!!! People want to have fun and dance together, ENTERTAINMENT - DJ and MUSIC to be reviewed absolutely. Congratulations!!! for choosing Lifeguard IVAN, helpful, kind and very attentive to people in the water. Right before our eyes he caught a 5-year-old girl who was falling to the bottom. Great job! 09/11/2024: Beautiful village on the fantastic sea of ​​Marina di Zambrone, friendly and always helpful staff, fantastic entertainment even though it was the last week that the village was open (from 7 to 14 September), everything was good apart from the cuisine which was truly indescribable. ..starting from breakfast through lunch and dinner...I still can't explain how you can cook so BADLY in a structure like this🙈

02/11/2024: I was in this village for the central 2 weeks of August, what can I say bar restaurant entertainment are people who are very helpful and good at what they do, cuisine needs improvement in terms of food quality but I give it a pass, truly spectacular crystal clear sea, needs improvement the room services, and we need to improve in cleaning, very little is needed to be at the top as a village, a little more organization on the part of the owners because they give their all for those who work there... 01/03/2025: A cena per una pizza, non saprei da dove iniziare un vero Disastro. La pizza che ci hanno servito con farina integrale tutto era tranne che una pizza sottilissima molto cotta alcuni lati quasi bruciata, insomma era una pizza biscotto senza parlare del pomodoro e bufala di scarsissima qualità, A MAI PIU'

16/11/2024: Ogni volta che torno a Orbetello vado a far visita a questo locale che non mi ha mai deluso. Anche in questa occasione, sono andato per due sere consecutive a mangiare al ristorante La Zia insieme al mio socio (che non c'era mai stato) ricevendo la solita entusiastica impressione. Il locale è accogliente, ben arredato e illuminato, e il personale è gentile e preparato. L'offerta è variegata, spaziando dagli antipasti ai primi, dai secondi ai contorni fino a giungere al dessert. Le pizze non le abbiamo assaggiate e, quindi, per questa tipologia di piatto non posso esprimermi. I primi sono stati all'altezza delle aspettative, come anche i secondi a base di pesce. Gli antipasti gustosi e il vino della casa (rigorosamente bianco dato il menù ittico) eccezionale. Il costo della cena è in linea con la bontà dei prodotti e con la corretta presentazione delle varie portate. Per un pasto completo a base di pesce consiglierei alici spaccate, impanate e fritte, per primo pasta fresca con funghi e porcini, per secondo baccalà ai ceci e, per concludere, il dessert del giorno. Come ho già accennato, se non volete scegliere nella carta dei vini, potete affidarvi al vino della casa (il bianco frizzantino, servito molto freddo, scende giù come acqua e non dà effetti collaterali). Infine, mettete in conto che il locale si affolla d'estate e durante i fine settimana. per cui potreste aspettare un po', specialmente se scegliete solo la pizza. E ricordatevi che è sempre buona abitudine prenotare.

22/12/2024: Siamo venuti per la prima volta in questo storico locale nel centro storico di Grosseto e ci è piaciuta subito la cordialità e la gentilezza della padrona di casa. Abbiamo gustato degli ottimi spaghetti con briciole di pane e bottarga, molto delicati (per mio gusto personale un po' più di bottarga non guasterebbe). Ottime penne al ragù di chianina. Ottimo lo stoccafisso e lo spezzatino di chianina, entrambi con patate. Tortino di mele caldo per terminare. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti e la prossima volta vedremo il menù del Canapone, che ho visto molto particolare... grazie

02/10/2024: NON HO MANGIATO IL PIATTO. Com’è arrivato se n’è andato e nessuno si è preoccupato di chiedere. Con gentilezza ho fatto sapere che il polpo era duro/gommoso. Orribile. I contrino disgustosi, abbiamo chiesto verdure grigliate ed erano in padella (surgelate). Ho visto altri piatti tornare pieni come il mio… SAREBBE GIUSTO FARSI DELLE DOMANDE. Il valore del mio tempo e quindi denaro, è stato sprecato in un piatto che davvero era immangiabile. L’indifferenza da parte del personale fa capire quanto ci tengono a NON fare delle pietanze ben fatte. Da EVITARE!

IT'S ALL TOO GOOD. We went for dinner, a gigantic menu, perhaps even to the detriment of the kitchen that has to make various types and use so many ingredients. But some Rolls, they are FABULOUS. Here you just have to look carefully at the menu, because it's a bit scattered in its sections, which could also be grouped together for convenience. Yes, no way, Umai on food, the care of the rolls, always remains Umai. Good, tasty, varied, imaginative. It's impossible not to like them once you've found your favorites. When you find the gems, you never forget them. Personally, I love when they use lemon zest, a touch of class that is not obvious 🤤 The owner is always kind to us, so we really have nothing to complain about. Some useful tips: 1) Only one tablet per table is a bit inconvenient. There are now more practical systems, with QR codes and ordering via smartphone. There would be a need for modernization on this front. 2) At Umai you eat divinely and well, and of quality. But, I would say, try to go at times when there is not too much crowd. Otherwise it could be difficult to bring this quality to your table, and you risk the collapse of the service. We went at 8:00 pm, practically at opening and luckily there were not too many customers. This factor is important especially for the central lunch areas. 3) Yes, the cost can be a bit high, perhaps there could be concessions, for example increasing the cost on the weekend, and lowering it during. In short, balance everything. But when I bring you all the dishes, with that care, with that attention, you don't even look at the price anymore honestly. And whoever writes here is certainly not rolling in gold! :) Arigato!

26/08/2024: Ordiniamo 2 margherite e nella salsa ci mettono il pepe. Perplessi ci guardiamo intorno e anche i tavoli accanto confermano che c'è qualcosa che non va nel gusto. La cameriera, con disinvoltura, ci conferma che il pepe nella salsa di pomodoro è la loro specialità! Peccato che facesse schifo e soprattutto non fosse indicato sul menù. Facciamo presente che si tratta di un allergene e che a qualcuno potrebbe far male, ma loro insistono dicendo che la pizza da loro è così. Non ci ritorneremo più.

19/08/2024: Per un cambio di programma sono rimasto scoperto proprio di sabato sera. Il problema è che era ovunque tutto pieno. Alla fine, questo ristorante mi ha messo a sedere e anche velocemente. Servizio abbastanza veloce a tratti confusionario, ma vista l’elevata richiesta della sera ci si poteva stare. Pizza un po’ salata, ma diciamo soggettiva. Come sempre consiglio di provare, se non altro per la disponibilità e la cortesia dimostrata dal giovane staff, prezzi leggermente più bassi della media.
