11/08/2024: Posto esteticamente carino. Servizio un pò da migliorare nei dettagli ma comunque personale gentile. Hamburger di ceci un pò secco. Formaggi e panzanella buoni. Filetto chiesto al sangue ma fatto ben cotto. Brasato buonissimo. Piatti semplici ma buoni tutto sommato. Prezzi dei vini onesto.

19/06/2024: Anche questo anno siamo tornati in maremma e a cena al Cavalluccio Marino. Abbiamo preso il menù, tre antipasti mousse, le seppie in umido con patate che si sciolgono in bocca, il polpo in insalata buonissimo, e buonissimo anche l'abbondante olio di oliva. Ravioli delicati, tagliolini calamari e gamberi deliziosi. Non ce la facevamo proprio più ma ci siamo sforzati per gustare anche le mazzancolle in guazzetto. Fare due chiacchiere con i proprietari è sempre un piacere. Mi dispiace solo di non poter venire più spesso. ..

07/08/2024: Homemade trattoria just outside Montemerano, it serves both typical dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar, pici with cheese and pepper or with ragù, stewed wild boar, grilled meat, and pizza, which we didn't try. Their Tuscan crostini (bruschettine served with livers, black olive pâté, delicate mushroom and truffle sauce and delicious spicy giardiniera) are perfect for an aperitif with a glass of wine nearby, but also with their house wine: we tried a fresh and fruity sparkling white, it was reminiscent of prosecco and did not get us drunk. The wild boar dishes were spectacular like those our grandmothers used to make and our children licked their chops and fingers with the lamb ribs. It is on the road and retains the soul of a trattoria, so don't expect a starred restaurant. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area.

23/07/2024: DO NOT GO HERE! Heel erg slecht. Voedsel erg onsmakelijk. Bediening erg onvriendelijk. Bij ons zelfs een zwarte krul HAAR in het eten!!! Verbrande Escalope Milanese. Kreeft was vooral schelp en heel weinig kreeftenvlees. Leek wel alsof dat er al uitgehaald was en aan anderen verkocht. Nadat we een klacht hadden ingediend, sprak niemand Engels… Verschrikkelijk ambience. Mensen mogen ook gewoon roken in deze tent. En ook nog eens diverse honden in de zaak. Kortom, 1. Slecht eten, slecht bereid & slechte smaken 2. Onvriendelijk personeel 3. Slechte hygiëne Absolute NO GO!

20/07/2024: Ottimo cibo, porzioni adeguate e prezzo onesto. Ho preso un risotto di mare spettacolare e come dessert il latte alla portoghese più buono dell’universo!!

26/07/2024: In una splendida cornice, giusto fronte mare il Carmen Bay ti accoglie in amicizia e simpatia. Nonostante l’imboscata, senza alcuna prenotazione, hanno saputo improvvisare un ma il tavolo e servitù una splendida frittura di mare. Cornice fantastica, prezzi perfetti, porzioni abbondanti! Unico neo: il tramonto colora il cielo, ma il sole non si tuffa nel mare (resta nascosto appena dietro) Consigliatissimo

24/06/2024: Il ristorante sta proprio fronte mare, posizione davvero bella e con comodo parcheggio a pagamento, ma questo non basta per dare un giudizio positivo, la scarsa qualità della materia prima utilizzata non giustifica il costo elevato delle portate, antipasto misto comprende 2 alici a testa, 1 crostino, moscardini al pomodoro, polpo con patate, calamaretti fritti tutto decongelato e cozze queste erano buone e fresche, la frittura sia di calamari e gamberi che di paranza di pessima qualità fritta con olio vecchio e puzzolente, pesantezza e acidità di stomaco portata per ore, mi chiedo se le asl di zona fanno i controlli oppure dormono, è inammissibile usare un olio così vecchio per il prezzo finale richiesto

14/08/2024: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff but the service is a little too slow. Average sandwiches and price a little too high for that type of sandwiches. However, in recent times I have seen whether you go to a luxury restaurant, whether you go to a tavern or whether you go to eat a simple sandwich, prices have increased everywhere.

01/07/2024: We were undecided whether to enter or not, but in the end the menu and the view convinced me I must say that it surprised us, very good value for money I'm just sorry that they close the kitchen a little early, but the girl was very nice because having seen the menu she let us choose to eat something

22/06/2024: When you enter this place the first feeling is doubtful: am I staying or am I leaving?! You have to understand what you want but if you stay like in our case you won't regret it, we only stopped for breakfast but the carefully displayed sandwiches were really nice and certainly fresh. Despite the somewhat dated environment and full of furnishings, I must say that the cappuccino was really good, so much so that we returned as soon as we had the opportunity, even the welcome at first may seem detached but then with calm and politeness we discover kindness and helpfulness .

27/07/2024: Intimate and well-kept place, the owner is an exquisite person, he knows how to involve the customer by letting him enter into the genuineness that distinguishes this restaurant, a perfect host. The cuisine is simple and homemade, you can feel the quality and experience of the cook, all very good, as is the service and customer care. Absolutely recommended!

27/08/2024: It has changed ownership and is now called Luna Rossa. We used to eat well, now at least for me we eat better. Here in Tuscany unfortunately we eat wafers so finding a place that makes real Neapolitan pizza was a very pleasant surprise. The dining room staff is also attentive and kind and the prices, given the quality, are very competitive. Try the fried calzone.

04/08/2024: My experience at the “Maradona” restaurant was extremely disappointing and negative. Although the name promises Neapolitan authenticity, I found nothing Neapolitan in this place. The pizza was a flying saucer: low, hard and light years away from traditional Neapolitan pizza. I ordered a fried calzone, but it was brought to me in the oven. When I pointed out the mistake, they took it back to the oven again, saying they didn't make fried calzones. It would have been useful to know this when ordering, so I could have chosen another pizza. The spaghetti with clams was inedible: the pasta was hard, they probably didn't respect the cooking times, and it completely lacked any seafood flavour. It looked like a garlic and oil pasta with 6 or 7 clams placed randomly on top. Furthermore, the pizzas arrived much earlier than the spaghetti, so much so that we finished eating the pizzas and only after an hour and a half did the spaghetti arrive. For those who are from Naples and are looking for a real Neapolitan pizza, this restaurant is to be absolutely avoided. It's a classic tourist place, with high prices, non-existent service and terrible food. I strongly advise against going there. Update to the next day 04/08/2024, in an agitated manner the manager decided to tell me his opinion, where according to him I was late (appointment at 9pm, sitting at the table at 9.06pm, I have the photo with lots of details) . “Even if you read Pizzeria Napoletana it doesn't mean that I make Neapolitan pizzas, I don't make Neapolitan pizzas”, this sentence of his needs no comments, I want to point out that to him “I don't care about reviews” but if he be negative, keep your cell phone ready because he contacts you in a bad way and if you continue not to agree with him he will flood you with phone calls and messages, so as not to be wrong then delete the messages. I continue to invite the entrepreneur owner to accept criticism. I attach photos to you gentlemen, otherwise you will say what I'm inventing😂

19/07/2024: We enjoyed having dinner at this place. Good food and nice, friendly staff. Everything was good and the pizza was excellent, especially the walnut with crusco tomato... delicious. We will certainly return for a next holiday.
