14/04/2026: If you’re anywhere near Osteria Maccalè — GO. Seriously. We had the most amazing experience here today. The sweetest Italian lady took care of us, and even though she didn’t speak any English, she made it work so effortlessly — honestly it made the whole experience even more special 🥹 The food? Unreal. One of those meals you keep thinking about hours later. I’m convinced you could point at anything on the menu and it would be incredible. Pro tip: bring a translator (Google Translate will be your best friend 😂), but don’t let the language barrier scare you — it’s 100% worth it. I would eat here every single day if I could

01/06/2026: Claudia was very nice and we ate 3 good first courses, but the place is small and anonymous, let's even say ugly, we suffered from the heat because the air conditioning was off or not working, we waited 50 minutes for our food and paid too much for the setting.

28/05/2026: We discovered this charming little restaurant today thanks to its positive Google reviews, and we weren't disappointed at all! Slightly off the beaten track, the restaurant appears rather unassuming from the outside. Inside, however, it's lovingly decorated, and Claudia herself was there to greet us. We were the first guests and received a warm welcome. Afterward, Claudia went off to the kitchen, as she not only serves but also cooks herself (presumably even single-handedly?). We ordered the bruschetta as a starter and pasta as main courses and were immediately won over! For dessert, we had panna cotta and Claudia's special dessert. Everything was incredibly delicious and was only surpassed by Claudia's warm and welcoming manner! In our opinion, definitely worth a visit!

15/05/2026: A charming place with welcoming staff, you feel right at home, starting with Renzo, the owner, and his wife, Barbara, who runs the kitchen. We had previously stayed here with a friend and were happy to return, enjoying two relaxing days. I have to share a story that happened, but I'd love to share it with everyone. We arrived by motorbike in terrible weather, rain, etc., but even though the restaurant was closed, they offered us lunch, which is truly remarkable and never taken for granted. Thank you so much. In particular, I must give immense praise to the cappellacci all'ossobuco: simply divine. I don't think I've ever tasted such a delicious, balanced, and flavorful dish; every bite was an explosion of flavors that literally enchanted me. ​A sensory experience that I highly recommend to anyone in Pitigliano. A must-try!
