14/08/2026: Grano was hands down the best pizza we had in Italy. Absolutely delicious, with amazing flavours and perfectly made pizza. The location is beautiful too, making the whole experience even more special. A must-visit if you’re in the area.

30/07/2026: We dined at this wonderful restaurant in Manciano and were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service impeccable, but it's the food that truly makes the difference. ​We started with exceptional first courses: the pappardelle with wild boar ragù was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the paccheri with eggplant, cherry tomatoes, and fresh ricotta was an explosion of freshness and flavor. ​For the main course, the wild boar stew was incredibly tender and rich in flavor, accompanied by crispy roasted potatoes scented with rosemary. A true delight for the palate! ​And to round things off, we couldn't miss the dessert: a brownie with vanilla and berry ice cream, garnished with fresh fruit. A perfect ending to a superb dinner. ​If you're looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine, prepared with high-quality ingredients and passion, Rifugio in Manciano is the ideal place. Five well-deserved stars! We can't wait to return. It must be said that they use quality and genuine products.

Every dish was delicious, including the wine. Additionally, the staff are incredibly friendly. Lots of gluten-free options; highly recommended!

The sweetest Italian lady took care of us, and even though she didn’t speak any English, she made it work so effortlessly — honestly it made the whole experience even more special 🥹 The food? Unreal. One of those meals you keep thinking about hours later. I’m convinced you could point at anything on the menu and it would be incredible. Pro tip: bring a translator (Google Translate will be your best friend 😂), but don’t let the language barrier scare you — it’s 100% worth it. I would eat here every single day if I could

15/05/2026: A charming place with welcoming staff, you feel right at home, starting with Renzo, the owner, and his wife, Barbara, who runs the kitchen. We had previously stayed here with a friend and were happy to return, enjoying two relaxing days. I have to share a story that happened, but I'd love to share it with everyone. We arrived by motorbike in terrible weather, rain, etc., but even though the restaurant was closed, they offered us lunch, which is truly remarkable and never taken for granted. Thank you so much. 06/08/2026: We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant quite by chance, and from the very first moment, we felt so warmly welcomed—even though we don't speak Italian, which was definitely not always the case during our travels in Italy. Communication was effortless, as the family's son speaks excellent English. The service and the food were amazing and the value for money was fantastic. To top it all off, the terrace offers a gorgeous view over the Tuscan hills. Highly recommend.
