18/01/2026: Excellent experience. We loved everything about it, from the venue to the food, and the service.
The atmosphere is typical of a tavern, as it should be.
The wine selection is beautiful and vast; we didn't try the spirits, but we noticed a few very good bottles.
There were four of us and we wanted to try everything: mixed appetizers, typical Maremma first courses (the tagliolini with truffle and venison prague were exquisite), Florentine steak for the main course, side dishes, and desserts.
Everything was perfect, the price was in line with the quantity and quality of the food.
I absolutely recommend it ;)
12/12/2025: A very intimate and welcoming place, with a roaring fireplace, tasty and well-stocked dishes, helpful and friendly staff, and a friendly and approachable owner. Excellent value for money.

Authentic dishes and local ingredients are the perfect combination for an excellent lunch. The restaurant is also part of a wonderful initiative to promote the local area, sponsored by the San Giovanni delle Contee Community Cooperative.

As a true Maremma native, I know tortelli well, but here they are truly superior! Everything is top-notch, including Laura, who pampers you and makes you feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered pasta, tuna with pesto, a classic meat dish, and two desserts—everything was delicious. I think it's the atmosphere created by the staff; their friendliness makes you feel comfortable and allows you to enjoy the food even more. A special thank you to the owner for helping us find a hotel; thank you very much. We will definitely be back.
