01/04/2025: Nel cuore del centro storico di Grosseto, il ristorante Grantosco è una vera perla di raffinatezza e qualità. L’atmosfera elegante e accogliente crea il contesto perfetto per un’esperienza gastronomica unica, dove ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli. La signora Camelia, con la sua passione e professionalità, delizia gli ospiti con creazioni culinarie straordinarie. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaporare un baccalà mantecato su vellutata di patate, una carbonara Grantosco dal sapore intenso e avvolgente, e una spigola dalla cottura perfetta, morbida e saporita, che ha conquistato il palato di (un Catanese) un amante del pesce come me. Il servizio è impeccabile, la carta dei vini ben selezionata e adatta a ogni portata. E per concludere in bellezza, il dolce Gran Forchetta è stato una vera sorpresa: un’esplosione di sapori che ha reso l’esperienza ancora più memorabile.

07/03/2025: Found it by chance and I must say that it was a pleasure to eat in this bar/restaurant, abundant and excellent homemade dishes, kind staff and attentive to customers, unfortunately I gave one star less to the environment because it needs to be revised. I will definitely return, oh I forgot, the prices? EXCELLENT.

03/05/2025: Restaurant that we considered in Pereta. The restaurant offers dinner with a fixed menu including wine at a moderate price (€27). The courses are numerous and plentiful. The kitchen is family run. The food and service overall seemed to us to be without praise or infamy but the fixed menu formula penalizes the experience a bit. Considering the current score (4.7) we expected more.

27/04/2025: TOP place! Typical Tuscan trattoria like it once was... family run or not, few dishes, but delicious and with the house red wine already at the table, good and honest. Jokes aside, it's a typical Tuscan inn, easy-going and you have to take it as such, but the food is very good. We had a ham as an appetizer which we forget about in the city. Tuscan crostini for two, 6 first courses, 2 second courses, wine and water and we spent €100 and in the end he also gave us a plate of ham. It's not like classic restaurants. So you have to accept that he doesn't have a menu and he tells you verbally what he prepared that day. You can choose between a taste of everything or individual dishes like we did because the 4 adults with 2 children don't eat a lot. Ravioli with meat sauce good although personally I don't like ricotta and spinach ravioli. Mushroom gnocchi full of flavor like I haven't eaten for a long time and truffle tagliolini that I would come back from Rome every weekend just to eat again. A stewed wild boar that was butter and a pig or with potatoes that melted in your mouth. I'll definitely be back as soon as I'm back in these parts. I recommend that you always book so as not to risk staying without having tried the food of this place also because no words can truly describe the flavour... especially the truffle tagliolini :-) Great!

05/05/2025: The restaurant is highly recommended - both culinary and visual. The staff is extremely polite and courteous without being intrusive. We would be very, very happy to come back.

03/05/2025: The setting was certainly very beautiful and the service was ok although confusing (condiments delayed compared to the service, cutlery taken away and not returned, etc.). In any case, the staff presents themselves in an affable and kind manner. It's a bit of a shame about the food: appetizer (a platter of Tuscan cured meats) quite poor, raw materials not of the highest quality, accompanied by rather stale bread. We then had two first courses, tagliolini (gluten-free) with duck ragù and pici with a sage and almond pesto. Good ragu, pesto bordering on edible (extremely salty and liquid). The almonds were practically whole and not part of the pesto. Pasta (both) completely overcooked, well beyond the cooking point and in both cases almost completely detached from the sauce - it probably doesn't help that both first courses were served on flat plates, which make it really difficult to eat the pasta well mixed with the sauce/pesto. We reported to the waiter that the pasta was overcooked, we were told that since there were so many people the kitchen was a bit packed and it would have escaped. Beyond this response, no action was taken nor did the restaurateurs try to recover the situation a little. Positive note: wide availability of gluten-free choice and attention to the problem, which is why I gave two stars instead of just one and which is the only reason why I recommend it, in the only case in which someone has this dietary requirement. To complete the menu, two glasses of wine, a bottle of water and two bitters. Wide choice of wines, all of good quality.

24/04/2025: Just reading the menu guarantees that you will eat well! A menu that summarizes a true anthology of Maremma cuisine, with the solidity and simple refinement of the people of the Maremma lands. Excellent raw materials, treated with respect and wisdom; true flavors, without shortcuts or useless "revisitations", but with a search for topicality declined in quality. Portions more than generous, price more than honest!

23/04/2025: The definition of Locanda should be accompanied by a photo of this little Tuscan gem: authentic and welcoming just as an inn should be in its most beautiful sense. Laura, Fabrizio and all the staff pampered us from the first moment, fulfilling our every request, always providing us with an immediate solution accompanied by a beautiful smile and a joke. Special mention for breakfast but especially for dinner (I will remember the tart with that ricotta for a long time!): both finger-licking good and with a magnificent view. Basic and very clean room, as you would expect from a true and authentic Tuscan Locanda. Here the difference is really made by the heart and passion of the people who make this place special and unique

24/04/2025: Typical trattoria located in the center of Pitigliano. Welcoming location, friendly staff. Very good dishes. The first courses are very good, but the real gems are the second courses. Highly recommended are the wild boar with plums and the rabbit. Very good the typical dessert. If I return to Pitigliano I will definitely return for dinner here.
