03/07/2024: Chinese food near Florence Centro area! Echoing a previous review, my family was also just glad to have this meal after a few days of pizza and pasta. It was not the best Chinese food ever but enough to satisfy our craving. Out of all the menu items, we would say the chicken stir fry noodles made the meal. Would recommend those and the dumplings if you go. However, the kung pao chicken did not really come with the veggies as expected.

07/06/2024: Food. Super greasy. It's not Chinese food. Ordered cantonese fried rice, chicken curry fried rice, boiled fish, mushroom and bamboo vegetable, omelet, duck dish and dumplings. Total 7 items. Only ate 15% of the food and we can't eat anymore. Super oily/greasy. I don't believe they have oriental chef or cook back there. The boiled fish is the worst and expensive. Service. Waitress not very good with english. Told her on the 1st order that cantonese fried rice super oily and asked can do something about it and not make other orders too oily too. She shake the head and went off.. 🤦 Atmosphere. Atmosphere is good.

02/04/2024: Really good dried tomato burrata pizza! I highly recommend. Sparkling wine and covaccino offered as a welcome gift.

23/07/2024: The pizzeria has a great concept: there are always around 10 pizzas on display and you can choose pieces from the different pizzas. So I was able to try 5 different pizzas! But there is also the option to order a whole pizza. The pizzas are pretty big too! When we were there there were only Italians there apart from us. Most people ordered a large pile of pizza slices to take away. The atmosphere is more like a snack bar, but we loved it on the terrace - after eating we had the feeling that we had seen all the neighbors - you can just observe Italian life in a relaxed manner... For dessert we ordered a piece of Nutella pizza and shared it - really good! But I recommend just one slice for dessert and not a whole pizza - too powerful 🙃

26/06/2024: Having dinner here with my partner. We can only compliment you, the location is enchanting, the service very attentive and the quality of the dishes and the study of the courses at the top.. The red wine produced on site is also truly excellent. Highly recommended!!!!!!

24/08/2024: We had dinner there unexpectedly and were not disappointed! A couple welcomes us as at home. The dishes are excellent and they are only local products or their production. Everything is homemade. Special mention for the service. This couple wears their hearts on their sleeves. Great experience!!!

19/08/2024: False advertising! On the phone, the elusive "Fabri" tells us a list of dishes, sausages, homemade pasta with truffles, various cuts of meat... and instead once we sat down at the table they tried to offer us a poor pasta with tomato sauce and a fixed menu from they selected. Furthermore, after asking for a cut they gave us the ok to cook on the grill but in reality no grill was on, as they would have cooked it in a pan! We got up immediately and went elsewhere for dinner. A big joke for foreign tourists. Shame!!

04/07/2024: A quiet, charming and peaceful place😊 We stayed at the hotel for a few days and I can say that it was pure pleasure. Beautiful view from the mountain where the hotel is located. Rooms spacious and clean. A large bathroom with a shower, in addition, soaps and olive balms were waiting for us in the bathroom :) The ladies make sure there is fresh bedding and clean towels. Swimming pool and sun loungers at the hotel. The facility also has a restaurant run by wonderful, passionate chefs Ana and Orlando😊 Delicious breakfasts! The service in the restaurant is also at the highest level! Best regards and we heartily recommend it

15/04/2024: Today we did a wine tasting at the Colognole winery (located next to the agutarismo Colognole chianti), a DOCG Gianti. A very nice welcome from Francesca, who speaks excellent English. Nice information about the estate and the wines of Colognole. In addition, a delicious tasting of the estate's wines. As a snack with local products and freshly baked bread, which tasted very good. We thought it was a very nice experience and highly recommend it.

30/06/2024: The cashiers are very quick and kind. The products are really good, the appetizers excellent and the squash truly special. Highly recommended

The service was absolutely stunning – attentive, friendly, and professional. It’s easily one of the best restaurants in Florence. I highly recommend Carro Matto for anyone looking for a delightful meal and exceptional service.

10/07/2024: A place without much pomp but very very good sushi, fresh and good quality ingredients, as demonstrated by the fact that despite the quantity of sushi eaten we left without being too weighed down! The owner is very nice!

13/08/2024: In vacanza ad Empoli abbiamo trovato questa osteria molto centrale e con un menù interessante. Buonissimi i primi ma consigliatissime anche le pizze, ingredienti di prima qualità.

10/08/2024: È sempre un piacere mangiare all’osteria! I piatti sono buonissimi, dagli antipasti ai dolci fatti in casa (crostate pazzesche). Meravigliosa la selezione di formaggi come antipasto! Il menù propone piatti classici della cucina toscana ma viene aggiornato continuamente usando prodotti di stagione e prodotti locali. Il personale è preparato e sempre accogliente. In estate bellissima l’atmosfera con i tavolini all’aperto. Consiglio assolutamente di provare questo ristorante!
