The food was generally good with generous portions and great prices. The pici carbonara was a bit greasy and salty imo, but the seafood fried was fried to perfection, stayed crispy throughout my meal and totally filled me up! This seems like a restaurants that the locals go to, I didn't see any tourist while dining there on a Tuesday evening. I wished I found this restaurant earlier in my stay, because I would 100% come back and try other things on the menu.

Praise be to you, Ghiotta, who feeds us and fills our hearts. I could easily see you in Dante's Paradise, as a final stop before meeting the Supreme One—just enough time for one last bite and then up the stairs.
Here you have a choice: counter or table. But whichever route you take, the destination is happiness. Simple, accurate, and abundant dishes, without too many turns of phrase, but with great substance.
The staff? Friendly, the kind who treat you like you're at home... and who, I'm sure, would confirm every word of this review.
Pierre, the gustator, contemplates... and is happy to return.

This is the kind of restaurant that makes me happy. It's not about the looks, but it is about great food and nice people. Tables are in the middle of a street. People continously walk by, so there's a lot to see. Most importantly the food taste pretty damn good. Really you should go here! I can recommend the steak👌

Excellent meal at La Ghiotta, antipasti and picci alla carbonara. Recommended by a local, with superb service and a friendly staff. The food is delicious.
