24/02/2026: And the receipt? Mediocre macchiato coffee.

11/02/2026: While this is a common occurrence in tourist destinations, there's a 50% chance you'll get scammed in Italy... I ordered a takeout coffee while waiting for my train. The staff member was friendly and smiling, but I was fooled by his smile. When explaining the sizes, he showed me the cups and said they had small, regular, and large sizes, so I ordered a regular. While I was waiting, I checked a menu in the corner and saw that small was actually regular, regular was large, and large was XL. Of course, we thought we ordered a regular, but the cup we got was in the middle size, so we paid for a large... Here it was, Italian deception and a subtle rip-off. It was so subtle that it made me even more annoyed. They're making a fool of tourists. I could see them saying, "I showed you the cup," so I left without saying anything. Next time, I'll make sure to check the menu properly, even if it takes a while! I won't be fooled again. I'll never use this place again, though.

21/03/2026: Chaotic atmosphere, endless wait, and rude owner, for a coffee costing €2.80. Florence is full of welcoming places; go elsewhere.

18/03/2026: We waited 45 minutes for the food. After 45 minutes we only got the Foccacias. After I asked what’s up with the rest of the food they said there is a system error if we want we can go. It is simply not true there was a system error because others who came after is already got and ate the food.

15/02/2026: Good food and excellent service, but the prices are really exaggerated!!!!

31/03/2026: Not recommended: they trick you by charging extra for each drink (€1 more each) for having it at a table, without any visible sign indicating this (when you ask, they show you a rather hidden sign with dubious information). You only realize it when you pay and see the increases, and these "supposed surcharges" don't appear on the receipt (which they also don't give you unless you demand it). Italians at the table in front of us weren't charged any surcharges... ;-( The food (calzone) was bad, expensive, and cold (even though they reheated it on the outside). Avoid this place; hopefully, it will close, or they will be inspected to correct these irregularities and stop deceiving tourists.

05/01/2026: The only flaw: the holiday opening hours aren't clearly specified. Traveling from far away to find it closed because they're cleaning isn't pleasant!

20/11/2025: We spent €32.50 each, including the 5 children: consider that the kids each had a half portion of pasta and THAT'S IT. The 7 of us adults had just one course each, a few appetizers to share, and a few desserts. A single bottle of cheap wine and the rest were water. All of this would have been fine if the quality and quantity had been decent, but they weren't. My ribollita tasted like nothing; it was basically wet bread. Plus, at this price, I imagine I wouldn't have to set the table and go to the cashier to order. We won't be back.

19/10/2025: Garbage Service. You have to draw a number to order. I drew number 28. It took 45 minutes to go from 21 to number 28. In which world does it take this long to record the order of 8 pairs? Cant say anything about the food. Was to fed up with waiting...

24/12/2025: A welcoming and authentic family-run bar in the heart of Florence. Friendly owners, excellent coffee, and a pleasant atmosphere. Ideal for a relaxing break in the city center. Recommended!

17/12/2025: I ordered two dishes - both were terrible. Green curry with olive oil and cheap frozen vegetables? Any true curry chef, or anyone that has studied food at all would NEVER do this. Olive oil cannot emulsify with curry paste + water the way coconut fat does. Coconut milk belongs in curry, not olive oil. Also, cauliflower is not a Thai vegetable. The frozen vegetables make these dishes completely off putting. This was too expensive for the very untasty meals I received. I cannot believe these people own a restaurant. This was the worst “Thai” food I’ve ever had. A Thai person would be embarrassed of this sad attempt at their cuisine.

03/03/2026: We celebrated our youngest daughter's birthday (6 years old) and had a GREAT time. The manager, Monica, is incredibly thorough and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable, lively, and very helpful. We had such a great time that we decided to organize our eldest daughter's birthday party (10 years old) there as well, and we had a great time there too. Highly recommended!

28/02/2026: A friend and I decided to celebrate our children's 4th birthday. We were a little worried given the children's ages... but it was simply a SUCCESS! Special thanks to Monica, who was with us from start to finish, down to the last detail, available and punctual with every request. The staff in the water with the children were wonderful and attentive. The service in the changing rooms before and after the swim was also perfect. The buffet was delicious and of good quality. The room was nice and spacious, even though it was almost empty, but after 2 hours of playing in the water, the children were exhausted and just wanted to eat. The photographer was a helpful service that we appreciated. Thanks for everything, and see you soon. Federica

14/12/2025: We ordered two glasses of wine. Unfortunately, even though the bottle had just been opened, it had gotten hot or had been sitting there for a while and was Marsala and acidic, so as soon as we had tasted it, we mentioned it to the waiter. Unfortunately, here in Florence, most of them are from Bangladesh or India, and perhaps they don't know how to respond. In fact, he refused to accept that it was undrinkable. I had to insist and go inside the bar to have them smell the wines. Luckily, the owner, after a quick sniff, understood and proceeded to change it. Of course, the other bottle wasn't the best either, but after a quick taste, I said it was definitely better. Unfortunately, the disappointment was there from the start, and the new glass wasn't up to par for a place right in the center, in front of the basilica, and neither was the staff... I expected more.

09/12/2025: The place was almost empty, a detail we hadn't considered, and that was a mistake. The prices are exorbitant, obviously due to the location. The coffee itself wasn't bad, but we tried some small cannoli, and the real shock came when we saw the price: €5 each, and they were no bigger than a chocolate bar. Not recommended.

14/03/2026: If I could give it zero stars, I would. We arrived and couldn't get in; no one was there to greet us, the doorbell wasn't working, and we only got in by chance as a guest was leaving. The receptionist was incredibly rude, the elevator was malfunctioning, and the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. When we complained about this to the receptionist, she not only didn't offer a solution but denied it. There's no hot water for showering, they don't provide napkins or trash bags (you have to take your trash out at the supermarket a few blocks away), and the heating doesn't work.

24/02/2026: It was a positive experience! We found everything clean, and the front desk was kind enough to provide directions to pharmacies and the nearby hospital since I was sick. Unfortunately, you can hear every noise from outside, but overall, the experience was positive. :)

13/03/2026: I tasted the puff pastry and croissant. I didn't even finish them. They were awful.

04/02/2026: A nice cafe near the train station. Excellent pastries! If you need a quick bite, this is a good place. Coffee is €1.50-€2.50, salads are €8-€10, and pastries are €1-€2.

10/03/2026: You could have called this bar rude, I'm giving it one star because it's not possible to give less.

19/10/2025: Frozen juices, not natural, at a very, very expensive price. I made the mistake of not going to Starbucks or Bubble Tea, which are below the station. I left disappointed.

06/10/2025: Been here 3 times since being in Florence, coffee is okay, made from a machine but honestly just fine if you want a quick pit stop. But stay away from the food, the croissant was kinda dry but tasted good and the muffin i had on my last visit was inedible
