The Florence Foodie In Firenze

Location is great. The room initially looks extremely impressive but there's a few minuses: for the double bed you got two single beds put together - and yes, that means two separate mattresses - I guess it's OK if you're about to divorce. Also there's no way to actually set the temperature in the room - it's either full blown AC and freezing or hot. The shower drain is not great and you don't have any designated space to place your shower gel or shampoo. Basically no major complaints, but for the price it's not worth it.

Great location and a huge balcony which was a lovely bonus during our stay. However, the accommodation was not the cleanest and the air conditioning felt very outdated, making the apartment uncomfortably warm at times. The furniture on the balcony was also old and uncomfortable. We were also talk to take our own trash out at the end of the stay, which felt frustrating considering the price of the accommodation. Overall, it was an okay stay but there is definitely room for improvement.

Great place to stay near the sights in Florence. Right in the middle of everything.

Very nice place, excellent location, and spectacular views from some rooms. The service is that of a standard tourist B&B with all the usual issues.

The apartment was fine, a bit lacking in utensils, but nice and very centrally located. The worst part was the receptionist; the day we arrived she barely wanted to give us any information, completely rude, even telling us we were asking too many questions. In contrast, the guy, who was lovely, answered all our questions, very kind.

The reception could definitely have been friendlier. I can only comment on the room I was given. It was dark, there was no window that could be opened and stayed open, fumes from the kitchen below, and the radiators hummed even though they were switched off. A restful sleep was impossible due to the lack of fresh air and the noise. Driving was not an option because of the construction and the restricted access. The only positive thing: it's perfectly located in the old town. Breakfast is available in the café next door. It was delicious, although the selection was limited.

It was a positive experience! We found everything clean, and the front desk was kind enough to provide directions to pharmacies and the nearby hospital since I was sick. Unfortunately, you can hear every noise from outside, but overall, the experience was positive. :)
