04/09/2025: The staff was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately there are no visible price lists. Like many other reviewers mentioned, tourists get heavily overcharged here: €5 for a cappuccino, €3.50 for a cornetto, and €9 for a simple focaccia sandwich. The atmosphere is nice, but the pricing feels unfair.

09/09/2025: I’m no italian, yet I can still tell this thing is nothing close to affogato. And it’s €8! And the waitress spilt half of it on my trousers. And my trousers didn’t even like it. Toilet is downstairs in the cave and it’s like a 40 degrees sauna in there. Perfect place for whoever thinks summer’s too cold in florence.

15/07/2025: Buonissima la pizza, pane fatto da loro, salato come quello di casa mia staff disponibile e gentile, menù ampio e posto molto bello, all'ombra dei portici di un bellissimo palazzo liberty.

13/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante diverse volte e ci siamo trovati molto bene, una pizza eccezionale .Purtroppo il 12 luglio 2025 siamo tornati in compagnia ma siamo rimasti estremamente delusi. Pizza scadente, ingredienti pessimi, mozzarella altro che di bufala sono quelle utilizzate nei fast food. Abbiamo preso un piatto di spaghetti alla nerano ma anziché il formaggio c era la panna, Su una pizza abbiamo chiesto cosa fosse il pesto di pra e ci hanno risposto che era un pesto della Sicilia quando da una ricerca su Google risultava pesto genovese. Manco sanno da dove vengono le materie che loro utilizzano. Sulla pizza il pomodoro era acido. Manco il basilico era fresco! Niente soddisfacente. Una grande delusione Di Sofia Loren e della pizza napoletana siamo lontani anni luce . Prima non era così Abbiamo poi saputo che non è più la solita gestione e sullo scontrino risulta che è della catena autogrill. Ah il giorno dopo mal di stomaco tutto il giorno

05/10/2025: Lots of reviews here complaining about the ‘odd’ paying system. If you’ve just arrived in Italy for the first time and haven’t done any homework, then, yes, it will seem odd. But it’s the long-standing way of doing it in Italy. You go first to the cashier, say what you want and pay for it, then show your receipt to the barista. The barista will probably be busy; he doesn’t want to be your friend, and he won’t be fawning over you (“Hi, I’m Roberto, your server today and I want you to have a great experience here”) in the expectation of a big tip. No, he just wants to move on to the next customer ASAP while he chats to his colleague about last night’s football. This is service Italian style - fast, efficient and no tipping. As for not speaking English, why should they? It’s not a tourist mecca, just a local bar that just happens to be near the station. It’s clean, convenient and cheap, with OK coffee and pastries. If you want something different, there’s a McDonalds nearby.

23/05/2025: The very friendly staff is definitely the best thing about the Sant'Apollonia cafeteria. The food is what you would expect from a cafeteria: a negative note for the pasta, which often has the consistency of boiled semolina and the sauce was seen through binoculars. For the rest of the menu, everything is pretty standard. The negative note goes to the rest of the building, which is in appalling conditions and although I know that the company that provides meals is not responsible, having bathrooms like that in a university environment is a crime to report, and after a certain hour darkness reigns supreme. All the walls are stained with graffiti of horrendous taste and I find it indecent to use the outside basement as a dump. The aesthetic contrast between the cafeteria and the rest of the building is notable.

07/10/2025: This was, unfortunately, the worst gelato I’ve had so far in Italy. The core issue is the poor consistency, watery texture with noticeably artificial flavour, which was a huge disappointment considering the quality available everywhere else in Florence 10 use I spent for a good portion. It felt far like a cheap, icy dessert than authentic gelato. On a positive note, the shop has a plus point for the two small tables outside. It was nice to be able to sit down instead of having to eat standing up or wandering around. Also, the service was nice enough . If only the gelato itself had been good! I can’t recommend the shop based on the poor product.

30/06/2025: Siamo arrivati con 10 minuti di ritardo e stavano già chiudendo la cucina alle 21:30, servizio pessimo cibo ancora peggio, semplicemente ridicolo

09/06/2025: Ristorante di sushi all you can eat situato nella zona universitaria di Novoli, facile da raggiungere, con posti a sedere sia fuori che dentro; ci siamo seduti dentro dal momento in cui era più fresco che fuori. Max 3 piatti a testa per ogni ordine al cameriere, cosa secondo me ottima che tutti i ristoranti di sushi all you can eat dovrebbero adottare perchè oltre a ridurre gli sprechi, ti permette di mangiare con più calma senza "strafogarti". Sushi ottimo, molta varietà a cena e piatti particolari, menù con all'interno immagini di ogni piatto e descrizione degli ingredienti utilizzati. Unica pecca per me, dovrebbero aggiungere dei numeri ai piatti per poter facilmente dire al cameriere quale piatto si vuole, poichè i nomi non sono così semplici da pronunciare. Prezzo nella media

12/09/2025: I'm sorry it's in Fiesole, we had a bad experience with the owner, he wasn't very kind because we didn't sit down, the ice cream was awful with popsicles inside, we had the 2.50 ice cream I think it was just a taste for an ice cream shop in Fiesole I was very disappointed..... I don't recommend it....
