Tried Rivoire for their famous hot chocolate and desserts - we were not disappointed! Both were incredible. We had the vanilla torte but I’m pretty sure all of their pastry selection would taste just as good. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed, and as it’s situated opposite Palazzo Vecchio it’s a great place to sit and people watch (which is always a laugh).
Some of the more negative reviews refer to the cost and the staff. Yes it’s a bit expensive but you’re paying for the name, the quality, and the location. We also found both the serving & waiting staff friendly and attentive, and received our food pretty quick considering how busy it was - so we have no complaints. Overall - 100% recommend!

Fantastic location. We know this place very well. We are not from Florence but every time we return on holiday (at least twice a year) we cannot fail to visit the Rivoire. From simple coffee, through aperitifs to divine hot chocolate (even cold in summer) and tasting chocolates. Very kind staff, elegant and refined venue. What to say! The story continues…

Old Cafeteria with interesting classic paintings on the walls, high ceilings and Uniformed Waiters. Great Terrace in front of the Old Palace Square of Florence, and all the great classical sculptures there.
Golden cutlery. Pink armchairs and products from the showcase. Curious
Excellent Panacotta with chocolate,
The Chocolate Toasts and the Pizzettes are very good. Very good natural red orange juice
Very friendly. Full of tourists who behave well.

Ci sono stato per una pausa pomeridiana con la mia fidanzata. Locale storico e glamour a Firenze! Un po' di attesa per potersi sedere. Servizio gentile con cameriere che riesce a fare due battute nonostante il gran quantitativo di avventori . Abbiamo scelto cappuccio cioccolata e selttz,, tutto buonissimo! Conto certamente alto ma rispecchia lo charme del locale centralissimo e lo accetti proporzionalmente al desiderio di sederti ai tavolini di questa pasticceria così rinomata. Consigliato!

Caffè Rivoire 在佛羅倫斯領 主廣場旁邊，建築物是百年以上的老建築，內部裝潢古色古香富麗堂皇，外觀具古典美。雖然叫 Caffè Rivoire 這裡除了賣咖啡和甜點，還有賣義大利餐。我們來此主要是買甜點和喝咖啡，這裡的甜點甜而不膩，咖啡稍苦，搭配起來還不錯。
