She also stated that the previous lady had made the same request and had been seated further in at a table for two, so she didn't want to cause any injustice. 2 o'clock: either common sense prevails when the place is empty, or they could replace the large tables with a few tables for two along the front row to avoid penalizing those who aren't part of a group. I'd say it wouldn't be a bad idea... It's a shame about the girl's lack of empathy, perhaps she too was affected by the heat on a day like this... "Summum ius, summa iniuria." I'm still giving it 5 stars because the commitment of those who manage this place is commendable, and I hope someone will listen to my advice because maybe I'm not the only one who sees it this way... An oasis of calm, shade, and cool air amidst the hustle and bustle of Florence. Almost at the last bridge, next to the bus stop for the number 12 that goes up to the viewpoint and San Miniato. They have a cold coffee cream for 2 euros—perfect for weeping under those trees by the river. One thing to note: you have to pay a 3 euro summer season membership to a senior citizens' association to use the tables on the terrace. Two friendly old folks will ask for it and issue a card in your name that's valid for the whole summer... Quite a hassle, but it's a nice touch. They don't serve at tables; you have to go to the bar.

The perfect compromise between a left-wing radical from the Bracciano area who demands five-star service and then complains regardless, and a blue-collar worker or employee who can't or doesn't want to spend but at least is content without complaining. The food is average-to-low quality but not bad (honest), but on the other hand, the view is wonderful and the climate is like a Unity Festival.
