08/01/2026: The BIG bakery has the kindest, friendliest and most generous baker we’ve ever met. The service is outstanding and the baked goods delicious and incredibly reasonably priced. It’s well worth a visit to this simple unpretentious and authentic bakery in the cool neighbourhood of San Nicola.

03/01/2026: This place is magic and tucked away between Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace. Outstanding pastries, bread, coffee and people. Genuine and friendly service. Prices are cheap when compared to everywhere else and every bit as good if not better. We had breakfast and then stocked up on pizza and pastries for lunch, highly recommend

07/01/2026: Excellent restaurant for both classic Tuscan dishes and a traditional thin-crust pizza. The ingredients are top-quality and served quickly by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also recommended for group dinners with reservations.

12/11/2025: A very tasty pizzeria in Ponte agli Stolli. The dough is very good, the standard pizza is thin, but they also have Neapolitan dough. The fries were also excellent. The menu is varied, with a wide selection, the place is simple, and the staff is efficient. I recommend trying a pizza here.

05/05/2026: Good evening. We came for New Year's Eve with some friends from Signa. I'll start by saying that we'd already been here twice for pizza, and it was decent. But on New Year's Day, the food was poor quality. As for the service, you were efficient. I'm sorry.

08/12/2025: I was here with my motorcycle club for a social lunch, and we had a great time. The cuisine was traditional Tuscan, with generous portions. Nothing fancy, but excellent in its simplicity. Here, you don't take pictures of the food, you eat! The service was excellent and friendly. A large room that can accommodate many people, with outdoor tables and ample parking. We'll be back.

06/04/2026: I'm a regular customer, especially for panettone and colomba. The leavened cakes are also excellent. This year, I was deeply disappointed!!! I'm used to a soft, well-leavened colomba with an unmistakable flavor, color, and aroma. I was presented with a colomba that was pale yellow, with almost no flavor, not leavened at all, so it was dry and compact, perhaps even a little raw when you look at the part near the paper. Practically inedible. I imagine another pastry chef made it! I'm truly sorry. In response to Ms. Beatrice, I'll add: I don't think I've been disrespectful to anyone. This is a site specifically designed for reviews, both good and bad. In the introduction, I mentioned that everything is always excellent. I didn't stop by because a few years ago I had a problem with a 2 kg panettone. I called and spoke directly with the pastry chef, who also got annoyed. Then, during the phone call, when I mentioned that I'd take him to see it, he replied that he'd call me back for Carnival and would give me a free schiacciata alla fiorentina. Never seen that before!

20/04/2026: Family lunch in a very respectable restaurant run by a lovely family where it's clear who's in charge (the little blond guy, of course) 😉😄👍. The owner's homemade ravioli were delicious, and the tagliata, grilled meat, and wild boar were well-cooked and flavorful. If we ever come back to Florence, we'll definitely be back.
