10/08/2025: È ormai la terza estate che, con la scuola per cui lavoro – la New York Film Academy – organizziamo l’evento di fine corso per i nostri studenti adolescenti alle Terrazze Michelangelo, utilizzando il pacchetto Silent Disco. Ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo: Luca, l’organizzatore, è estremamente disponibile e paziente, anche quando dobbiamo fare modifiche all’ultimo momento. Inoltre, cerca sempre di venirci incontro per eventuali intolleranze o esigenze alimentari particolari. La Silent Disco, a mio avviso la parte più divertente della serata, è sempre un grande successo tra i ragazzi.

30/07/2025: Mio figlio ha festeggiato il suo 18 compleanno, siamo stati accolti e supportati in questa bellissima struttura da personale gentilissimo e paziente.Luca ci ha accontentato in tutto, facendoci sentire a casa,tutti i ragazzi invitati sono rimasti soddisfatti e divertiti. 15/10/2025: Pasta is fresh and very nice but all in all the flavors are muted in every dish. Went with a party of 4 and tried 4 very different dishes, the ravioli was the most flavorful, everything else was nice but bland. Does have a fleamarket (we went on a sunday) right next to it, nice to spend your waiting time because the service is sloooooow.

17/01/2025: We went to this restaurant for our anniversary, and I have to say, everything was perfect! The location is fantastic, on the sixth floor of the Westin Excelsior Hotel, where the 360° view of Florence offers a breathtaking panorama! Refined, top-quality cuisine. Impeccable service and extremely friendly staff. At the end of the dinner, they brought us pastries with "Happy Anniversary" written on them, which we really appreciated! It's not an "everyday" restaurant, but it's definitely one of those places I recommend trying at least once in your life!

21/10/2025: Now only the name remains. The outdoor setting would be nice if it weren't packed with people, unlike a stadium. Terrible food, rushed, poor quality ingredients, and poorly cooked. Dishes that should be served hot arrive cold or microwaved hot. All this at embarrassing prices. To be avoided at all costs.

12/10/2025: I went with a group, and the person who took us there said he'd met the owner while he was in the hospital. Considering how much we spent, not to mention the wine we were offered because of this "acquaintance," I wasn't very satisfied.

21/08/2025: A perfect little pit stop on your Italian road trip. The staff were amazing and accommodating given the kitchen closes at 3 and we ordered at 2:55pm. The food was good. The actual square itself lacks some people lustre. Other than that, it’s worth the stop.

18/05/2025: This lovely pastry shop has become one of my favorite places, I go there when I want to pamper myself, tasting Marino's delicious pastries and chatting with his wife while sipping his special cappuccino. One of the few authentic places left in Florence!

29/10/2025: Please avoid this restaurant!! There are many hidden charges. The owner got angry because we only ordered one bottle of mineral water, which cost €4. He even pushed my shoulder to shoo us away. This was the worst food we had in Italy. Don’t be fooled by the restaurant’s appearance, the food was bland and the pasta was soggy.

29/10/2025: This place completely changed my view of Florence — the owner is unbelievably rude and in denial. The food itself is a 3/10 at best; after two weeks traveling across Italy, we know what good pasta should taste like. We still respected the price since it’s Florence, but when I honestly said the food was just “alright,” the owner flipped out, refused to give me their card, and said we weren’t even customers — even though we paid. Then he got personal, touched my hair, and said rude things. Totally unacceptable. If you’re the owner reading this, I dare you to post the footage of you getting physical.

04/09/2025: I went to this place for the first time tonight and it was a great experience. Parking is convenient in the back. The atmosphere is nice and well-kept. We dined outside. We tried the hot appetizer, the seafood ravioli, the fried fish, and the mixed desserts. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent, too. We'll definitely be back on a Wednesday to try the seafood carbonara. See you next time!

19/08/2025: For those who want a good lunch with delicious dishes like those found in the best trattorias of yesteryear, this little restaurant in Firenzuola offers a fixed lunch menu for around €15 (first course, second course, side dish, wine or water, and coffee). The portions are generous and tasty (and that's coming from someone who eats), and the staff is friendly and fast. Highly recommended for those who like familiar fare.

05/10/2025: A small and welcoming location in the heart of Empoli. Excellent selection of wines, cured meats, and cheeses. The rest of the menu is also good. The staff was friendly, calm, and never intrusive.

27/09/2025: Ambiente piccolo e carino, ben arredato e curato. Ottima carta e scelta dei vini per tutte le tasche e x ogni occasione. Menù dei piatti del giorno curato e interessante. Piatti belli e soprattutto buoni e ben cucinati. Ottimo anche l'impiattamento. Da provare sicuramente.

24/09/2025: Ripoff. Food was average, but overpriced. The guy tried to take card payment twice, but it failed because of his bad connection. Then he upped the charge to include his bank fees on the 3rd attempt!!! Despite arguing he wouldn't back down. Avoid this place or check the charges carefully before paying.

13/10/2025: A refined atmosphere, with excellent, top-quality products... generous platters, rich in flavor, a wide variety of cheeses, specialty cured meats, and an extraordinary schiacciata to accompany it all... professionalism in offering top-quality wines and champagnes, a place that satisfies the sight and taste... a dinner that passed in the absolute pleasure of excellent company among friends and extraordinary service.

12/10/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm a very wealthy man, both by inheritance and by undeniable merit. My motto is "if you want to know how much it costs, you can't afford it." That said, I believe, in keeping with the pillars of order, discipline, and respect for the rules I was raised with, that a public business should display prices before handing out the bill, especially when located in a less-than-aristocratic area of ​​the city. The general nature of the offerings (wines defined by color and not, my goodness!, by precise descriptions of grape variety, producer, and vintage) also left me somewhat perplexed. As for the final bill, I thank the mines inherited from my South African (but Dutch-born) great-grandfather for allowing me to pay it with the same ease with which I fire my subordinates in the thriving family business.
