09/10/2025: Not sure if we were just unlucky but we didn’t enjoy our meal, the pizza dough was so thin it was like a taco. I left most of mine

30/09/2025: Massimo and his staff are great. The food was very good. If you want the feel of Italian dining in a rustic Italian neighborhood this is the place.

10/10/2025: Perfectly cooked spaghetti. Delicious spaghetti del cantuccio. They don't charge a cover charge. Friendly, fast, and excellent value. We've been here three times already and will definitely be back.

23/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso per una cena al volo. Abbiamo preso 2 spaghetti (spaghetti cacio e pepe e spaghetti del Cantuccio), una patatina fritta media, una birra media e un’acqua. Porzioni abbonanti , cottura perfetta, personale gentile, speso €25,50. Passando da Marradi ci torneremo senz’altro per provare la pizza.

10/10/2025: I go there alone and bring friends, you are at the market on an internal terrace above the butcher's shop; for me excellent meat and excellent hospitality, friendly but attentive atmosphere; but above all dishes prepared by Elisabetta, very good and varied, always changing with the season; the cost practically the same as the ingredients bought at the market, on Saturdays it is best to book, I recommend a visit.

24/06/2025: There is an important distinction to be made: the terrace above the restaurant for eating on the spot and the butcher's shop below... In order the Terrace. Rating 5 stars!!! Really nice; few seats in a very intimate atmosphere with which even without wanting to you find yourself talking to the people next to you. You order and are served via a freight elevator, there is no staff between the tables. You take your wine, your drinks, set yourself up and eat in this truly typical Tuscan place. Excellent platters and fantastic tartare, refined flavors and a little different for those who want to dare, otherwise the classic recipes. The prices are from the center of Florence so high but at least you feel good and it is money well spent. Great idea and excellent management. Butcher's shop rating ZERO. I have been an occasional customer for a long time and they ripped me off. 2 kg of steak (not even Chianina at that) at the frightening price of 90 euros (raw at the counter just cut I mean, not cooked and served to eat). I paid for it there and then except to realize later what I had actually been asked for. In hindsight I should have left it there, smiled and left. Unfortunately I was distracted at the time and... I don't know if 45 euros per kg is a "fair" price for tourists, it remains a value completely out of the market. In principle as a butcher's shop it's not bad, I don't go there often because it's not a good quality-price ratio, the times I went there they never thrilled me but in any case nothing negative to report. As for the story of the steak, however, I was so disappointed that I stopped going for lunch too... very bad guys, too bad...

28/10/2025: A strategic location, surrounded by many businesses. It's located on Via Einstein, across from the industrial area dominated by Leonardo (formerly Officine Galileo) before reaching the I Gigli Shopping Center in Campi B.zio. A well-kept bistro, good food, and friendly staff. It's not very big, so it can be busy at the start of the lunch break, but it also empties quickly, as most workers typically stay for 30 minutes. At other times, it's quiet. Convenient parking. Worth a try if you're in the area or even for a quick break.

05/10/2025: A small and welcoming location in the heart of Empoli. Excellent selection of wines, cured meats, and cheeses. The rest of the menu is also good. The staff was friendly, calm, and never intrusive.

27/09/2025: Ambiente piccolo e carino, ben arredato e curato. Ottima carta e scelta dei vini per tutte le tasche e x ogni occasione. Menù dei piatti del giorno curato e interessante. Piatti belli e soprattutto buoni e ben cucinati. Ottimo anche l'impiattamento. Da provare sicuramente.

07/05/2025: we came to this place on the advice of some friends. i must say that the place is pleasantly furnished. the staff very kind and efficient. the food is well served and excellent. in my opinion it is a great place to spend an evening with friends or as a couple.

28/10/2025: If you want to try a Lampredotto, in my opinion it's one of the best I've had in Florence. Being sold from a street stall gives it a more local feel. There are always quite a few locals in the queue, which suggests it's served in the traditional way. The Lampredotto sandwich is a local favorite, and I personally love it; I always try one when I travel to Florence. In this case, I have to say it was a little disappointing that the quality had declined since my previous visit, but despite that, I still recommend it.

14/10/2025: The best...this is the real lampredotto. In Florence, lampredotto is eaten by those who only make lampredotto, not by those who make a bit of everything!!! And unfortunately, in Florence, it's like that.

27/11/2025: A very nice place in a lovely setting, like the Manifattura Tabacchi. They're very attentive to vegetarian options, and the food was good. Unfortunately, the whole experience was made worse by the generally rude attitude of the staff and, above all, the rushed service. When we arrived at our table, we were greeted and then left without any instructions. The second course was brought along with the first course shortly after the appetizers, obviously letting it cool (it was a fried mushroom), as the first course had to be eaten first. We insisted on continuing to get to dessert, with obvious complaints from the staff after being asked to wait about ten minutes. At the end of dinner, we asked for coffee, but were told the machines had been cleaned, so it was impossible. Now, coffee wasn't included in the dinner menu, but this is the first time I've ever witnessed someone being unable to get a coffee. If they had to clean the machines, you had to ask at the table who wanted coffee first, obviously paying for it off the menu. Furthermore, the request was made well before the restaurant's closing time, so they effectively started closing early. There's no such thing as this. If you don't want to serve, you shouldn't be in this job. And I'm not just talking about the wait staff, but also the management itself. It's a shame because there's so much potential between the location, atmosphere, and cuisine. Another thing worth mentioning, even though it's clearly stated in their instructions: if you bring dessert from outside, you pay €1 per person for portioning. I'd say it's best to have a few friends, or even better, not come here at all.
