02/06/2026: A gem in Cortona: tradition, lightness, and a warm welcome from days gone by! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Every time we return to Cortona, a stop at this restaurant is a fixed and indispensable ritual. We recently took my father-in-law from Arezzo here to celebrate his 89th birthday, and it was an exceptional choice: a memorable success! The atmosphere is refined, traditional, and welcoming, perfect for feeling at home even on special family occasions. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: it manages to combine excellent flavor with surprising lightness. Everything is cooked divinely and never feels heavy. The first courses are a work of art: handmade pici and tagliatelle are worth the visit in themselves. An honorable mention absolutely goes to the excellent fried porcini mushrooms, simply exquisite and not at all greasy. The meat is also excellent, tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. What really makes the difference, however, is the human factor: The service: The waiters, especially Cecilia and Ali, are exquisite. Kind, friendly, professional, and always smiling, ready to satisfy every request. The owner: Paolo is a man from another era. His helpfulness and the visceral passion he puts into his work are evident in every detail of the restaurant. All this is complemented by an excellent quality-price ratio, which these days is a significant plus. The bottom line? Everything is top-notch. If you're passing through Cortona, this place is highly recommended!

16/05/2026: We were returning from Tuscany and stopped in Arezzo for a break. We had lunch at this elegant and refined restaurant, but the best part was the food. Elaborate dishes that are a pleasure for the palate and the eye, and the service was very friendly. The chef's welcome, the sweet treat while waiting for dessert, and the biscuits with coffee...a real treat...recommended! Sabrina and Mauro

12/04/2026: Fantastic little store/bottega located in a tiny hamlet. You make your own sandwich (I mean schiacciata) from a list of ingredients . Just so you know: schiacciata is thin and crunchy, slightly oily. Finocchiona, artichokes, caramelized onion, mushroom cream: unbelievably good. Packed with bikers and families with kids. Love the large communal tables outside the steep pavement. They also have a few tables inside.

16/03/2026: A hidden gem: the little places I like. It's a shame it was packed, and then my son's opinion of the schiacciata! Small, hidden, and far away, but we're not ruling out returning!

He made us feel welcome in an unfamiliar place when we first arrived and will always hold a place in our hearts 💖If you arrive here in Camucia, do yourself a favor and stop here and meet a true Italian gentleman, 11/10 would go again!

29/10/2025: Fantastic!!! Sr Bianco and his shop is genuinely a great welcoming place with amazing food and espresso. I can only say he was our first stop into the area and our last stop before we left the area. Bravo

01/02/2026: As far as I'm concerned, pizza is only Neapolitan, but I have to be honest, it made me rediscover the pleasure of Tuscan pizza; truly delicious, very digestible, top-quality ingredients, extremely welcoming and polite staff. As soon as we arrived, they brought us a sort of appetizer (as a courtesy to guests), which was very, very, very welcome and delicious. The baked goods were amazing... the cleanliness was excellent... The price was more than fair. Very good! We'll be back more than happy to.

04/12/2025: A simple, informal atmosphere where you feel right at home. People come for pizza. There's a limited choice of starters and no main courses, as this is a renowned bakery that has adapted to serving pizza at table service in the evenings. There are appetizers, though, and the owners offer a small welcome selection of savory appetizers, followed by desserts at the end of the meal. The pizza is thin, in keeping with local tradition, and in my opinion, good. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent. If you want to spend a pleasant evening at a truly reasonable price, this place is ideal.

03/05/2026: Delicious authentic food. The pasta with onions and the steaks are definitely recommended, but also the Panna Cotta and Tiramisu.

16/04/2026: I went last night for an end-of-course dinner, but coming from Turin, I obviously wasn't familiar with it. Beautiful, tastefully decorated restaurant, we ate very well. Of course, it was a company dinner, and the menu was pre-ordered, but the dishes were good and delicious. I don't know the cost for each of us, but I think it's within limits. If I ever return, I'll keep it as a reference; I highly recommend it.

06/09/2025: La Tana degli Orsi is a small but meticulously maintained restaurant in the heart of Casentino. Simone and Caterina are true masters of hospitality and passionate advocates of high-quality products, especially local ones, which they always showcase.

23/11/2025: Ristorantino Madú in Sansepolcro is a true gem! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The cuisine is simple yet delicious, using top-quality ingredients and traditional Tuscan recipes revisited with a touch of creativity. The vegetarian and meat dishes are both delicious, and the prices are more than reasonable. The service is impeccable, with the staff always ready to offer advice and accommodate guests' requests. If you're in Sansepolcro, don't miss the opportunity to try Ristorantino Madú! It's a place where you can eat well and feel the authentic Tuscan atmosphere.

10/05/2026: A disappointing experience, we won't be back. They put us in a basement room: low ceilings, exposed brick, stuffy air, and a lingering smell of damp and mold throughout the meal. Not an insignificant detail—it was a constant presence that ruined the meal. On the hygiene front: there was a dog next to the grill in the kitchen. This is unacceptable in a restaurant. The service is slow, but the staff is friendly—they stop to chat, say hello, and nothing to complain about on the human side. Passable. As for the meat, they let us go up to look at it: they told us it weighed 2 kilos, but no one ever told us the price before ordering. We ate without knowing how much we'd pay. The meat was average, nothing memorable. Result: 50 euros each for a main course and a side of potatoes. We can't understand the hype. Perhaps it's different in other rooms or at other times, but our visit was a disappointment in terms of ambiance, hygiene, and price transparency.
