29/03/2024: In the age of hyperspecialties, entering a tobacconist bar with a delicatessen that serves as a preamble to the trattoria is tapping into the depths of the soul of central Italy. After a short aperitif we begin one of the best dinners of the first months of this year. A garlic sauce made only between March and April because it is used for young people with pork and vinegar. A show, a rainbow 🌈 of flavors to try. The tomato soup is excellent before moving on to the spaghetti with white ragout and duck. Very balanced and tasty. The duck in porchetta is also excellent. Not dry and tasty. All washed down with a house Montepulciano of the right alcohol content for a table wine with all the hints of Montepulciano (which unfortunately are often lost in more elaborate wines). In particular we appreciated the taste of peppers and the sweet persistence which gives way to a correct acidity which allows the meat-based dishes to be enjoyed at their best. The service was excellent, friendly and professional, the cook was an excellent interlocutor to understand the heart of the recipes tasted. We'll be back

27/11/2023: Locale piccolo e accogliente. Menù con scelte accurate. Il servizio si è dimostrato efficente ed anche in presenza di qualche piccola dimenticanza, i collaboratori hanno subito rimediato. Piatto da ricordare: peposo. Ritengo il prezzo pagato corrispondente alla qualità ricevuta. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

18/03/2024: Nice and well-kept place, the fireplace really warms the atmosphere. The lamb was excellent, the same goes for the fried dishes, and the desserts were pleasant and well presented. The service is kind and attentive.

15/03/2024: The food they offered us was very fresh, we were there on a Thursday for lunch, and it was a pleasure. Traditional menu with the addition of fried lamb and fresh fried vegetables, which are not always available. The desserts are good. We will return soon, always during the week, to avoid crowding. In good weather you can eat outside. Friendly staff.

16/12/2023: I found myself with a large group for dinner. I am vegan and, to my very pleasant surprise, they organized a very respectable menu for me. I repeat, I am vegan, not vegetarian, and I ate tasty and tasty dishes from starter to dessert (all excellent). I invited the owner, who was very tense for this test, to include in her menu (of typical Tuscan cuisine, apart from the pizzas) some of the dishes they prepared for me, which have nothing to envy of certain places that call themselves vegan cuisine or they offer themselves by saying they have no problems cooking without any animal derivatives, but instead they give you the usual grilled vegetables. The lady and all the staff were welcoming and very attentive to their guests, so I want to reiterate to the lady that she was very good, and that, for example, her aubergine meatballs with sauce are excellent. Congratulations to everyone for the care taken throughout the evening

30/03/2024: Passing through Anghiari, I recommend stopping at this restaurant to taste the Pappardelle with wild boar and black crostini with liver pâté. Chianti Gratena wine 2018. Optimal

25/03/2024: Great food, but they treated us with rudeness and a certain rudeness because we didn't spend enough. Our kids were hungry and ate a plate of pasta. We four adults wanted to eat light but there were only the side dishes so we ordered all the side dishes, but it seemed that we had offended them or made them lose a table for spending too little. There were even free tables in the restaurant. No problem: they won't see us again!

01/04/2024: Pizzeria located at the foot of the historic center of Anghiari, under a tunnel. The little place is discreet, intimate, almost familiar. The pizza, very good, crunchy, high crust. You can feel the quality of the ingredients and the dough. Very friendly and fast service.

19/01/2024: We had dinner with my family, very good and abundant traditional Tuscan dishes, last but not least our four-legged friend was welcomed and provided with a mat to lie comfortably under the table, very kind indeed 👏👏 regarding the advice on the dishes, I don't know because we ate other than those listed

13/01/2024: Excellent experience for both dinner and lunch (among other things, lunch on January 1st). Cozy but welcoming environment (perhaps the ventilation just needs to be improved, in the cold all the humidity inside condenses on the door at the entrance). Attentive service, kind and informal enough. Excellent tagliatelle (homemade, not too thick and nice and rough) with Chianina ragù, braised cheek and, above all, with honorable mention the excellent panforte that they make themselves (and also sell to take away). They are pet friendly, I give a big head scratch to their Dodo dog.

29/12/2023: Ottimo locale, bella location immersa nel verde. Cucina da grande Chef, Pierluigi Manfroni e la moglie Santina in cucina sono una sicurezza. Straordinari gnocchi con trifola e stupenda germanina con crostino in pane di ortica ed una crema al Grand Marnier unica. Tris di dolci deliziosi. Attendiamo la riapertura a primavera per tornare a trovarvi. Buone feste

16/12/2023: Cena in famiglia durante il weekend ad Arezzo e dintorni, cibo eccellente ben cucinato e di qualitta, abbiamo passato una bellissima serata, il personale attento gentile e preparato, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente, ci tornerò sicuramente.

16/03/2024: A romantic atmosphere that takes you back to old times. The food was very tasty and prepared according to our wishes, even if it was not on the menu. The pasta is excellent. The hostess is very helpful and hospitable. Perhaps for consideration, the waiter was acting a bit untidy. You would just add a longer apron to it and it would look completely different.
