02/05/2026: La Rocca Gourmet is a charming little restaurant in Lucignano, with a very pleasant atmosphere. It's a family-run restaurant with background music, sometimes even live music. The food is excellent and you can taste the quality. The only downside is that we spent €12 for three people for the service, a bit expensive, but I recommend it if you want to enjoy some quality time with excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, in the summer you can eat on a terrace with a view. The owners are very nice and welcoming. I recommend it.

Traditional and well-prepared menu.
The grilled meat and fillet steak were well-cooked.
The desserts were delicious.
I recommend it and will be back.

02/05/2026: Passing through Lucignano today for the first time after a bike ride through the Valdichiana, we stopped here, drawn by the outdoor seating, the friendly people, and the great music selection, played at a pleasant but not at all invasive volume. We had a wonderful time: thanks to the fantastic team for their friendliness, for making us feel at home, and for the carefully prepared aperitif. See you next time!

18/04/2026: Food is AMAZING, but the son of the woman who owns the place is very rude and unfriendly making our meal and the atmosphere unpleasant and awkward for us and the other couple in the restaraunt. The other couple in the room requested the TV be turned down, he minimally turned it down, as if to tease or just annoy them. They got up and moved away from the TV which seemed to please him. Unfortunately for his mother who probably depends upon the income, we will not be patrons of this establishment again.

02/04/2026: It's a lovely bar overlooking Lucignano's main square and has an entrance inside the town gate. Both the bar and the restaurant, serving traditional Chianina dishes, are excellent.
27/01/2026: One of the best bars in the area, if not the whole town!
Breakfasts, lunches, and aperitifs are always delicious. I recommend the morning for an excellent cappuccino. :)

27/09/2025: Be sure to try the homemade panforte. This specialty from Siena and the surrounding area tastes sensational here at a reasonable price.
04/08/2025: A great refreshment on the way home! Family-run pastry shop; the owner is as chatty as we are. The crostata was excellent, as was my spianatina with prosciutto. Excellent coffee and a good cappuccino. Before leaving, we bought the very delicate cantucci, but I have to say the highlight was the panforte! I've never tasted so good! And the spumini...!!!!!
Truly, thank you for existing to the people who, even today, after so many years dedicated to that work, still put their heart and soul into it!
We'll definitely be back!

12/07/2025: Dopo aver aspettato 1 ora e mezzo è arrivata la pizza con il sotto bruciato ,prezzo sopra la media , non c era l acqua in bottiglia ma soltanto quella del rubinetto filtrata che non bevo…
23/06/2025: Ce l' avevano dipinto come una pizzeria-ristorante raffinata e top ma siamo rimasti quasi del tutto delusi sia dall'ambiente non proprio raffinato e dalla allocazione in un vicolo stretto della città per nulla attrattivo. Certamente il personale è educato, la pizza buona ma non eccellente e anche vari stuzzichini buoni ma, complessivamente, siamo rimasti basiti, in un paese con molti ristoranti ma sempre un paese, dai prezzi elevatissimi praticati. In effetti, l'avevamo notato sfogliando il menù ma oramai avevamo prenotato ed eravamo seduti al tavolo.Difficilmente, pur abitando a circa 30 km, ci torneremo.

19/06/2025: Nel borgo storico di Lucignano questo ristorante è veramente buono: cucina della tradizione toscana di ottima qualità, anche quella più semplice (panzanella strepitosa) servita in un bel ristornate con una bellissima terrazza.
I prezzi sono corretti, come le porzioni. Il personale è gentile ed estrmamente professionale, sia nei tempi che nei modi. Complimenti.
19/05/2025: Siamo arrivati all'ultimo minuto di sabato sera, e nonostante il locale fosse pieno, Stefania – gentilissima e davvero professionale – è riuscita a trovarci un tavolo. Un grazie speciale a lei per l'accoglienza e l'ottimo servizio!
Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo: come antipasto abbiamo preso dei crostini deliziosi, saporiti e ben presentati. Il piatto forte della serata è stata la bistecca in costa, cotta alla perfezione e tenerissima – semplicemente eccezionale. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosso di Montalcino che ha esaltato ogni sapore. Davvero ottimo!
Siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti: qualità, atmosfera e servizio impeccabili. È un ristorante che consiglio vivamente, ma… prenotate per tempo, soprattutto nel weekend!
