30/03/2024: A particularly intimate place where you can enjoy the right mix of vintage and modern. Very close-knit and coordinated family management, homemade but refined dishes, excellent quality of the raw materials expertly worked by the cook. The dining room service was excellent both in terms of professionalism and friendliness; good and calibrated service times between one course and another. Wide choice of à la carte wines with the possibility of choosing wine by the glass or bottle. Good value for money. Definitely recommended 😉 Small note: access to the toilets for wheelchairs is difficult.

01/04/2024: Intimate restaurant with a few tables right inside Cortona. The young and smiling staff immediately made us feel at ease. The dishes : Appetizer of quality pecorino cheese (going from the freshest to the most seasoned and combining them with two jams, one of which is orange). Pici with very inviting crumbs, cooked just right, same thing for the pinches with pears alla gricia, with a delicate flavour. Truly exquisite jugged wild boar, excellent to pair with a Tuscan red such as the Nobile di Montepulciano which we have chosen to support such structured meat. In our opinion too much oil both in the first courses and in the wild boar. Desserts: we weren't crazy about them. Not very dense creme brulee and a dry chocolate cake in the dough, which was hard when cut. Absolutely honest account.

04/04/2024: I went back on Saturday, the pecorino appetizers were very good, then the tagliatelle with truffles... I enjoyed them, and finally a fantastic Chianina steak all accompanied by a fantastic Bolgheri... needless to say, the welcome made you feel at home..... fantastic

03/04/2024: While traveling around Cortona with a group of friends we tried this restaurant. Small, welcoming even if when it's full it becomes difficult to move. Good and freshly cooked dishes. We chose typical Tuscan dishes. All good! To try!

29/02/2024: What can I say...a real discovery!!! We had dinner here on Valentine's Day and they totally pampered us. For all the women the pizza was made in the shape of a heart - very good among other things and with an excellent quality/price ratio. Super attentive and kind staff! The place is a little cramped in some parts, but frankly it didn't bother us and we can't wait to usher in the summer on their terrace!

12/01/2024: Il ristorante Il Cacciatore è una destinazione culinaria di eccellenza, offrendo un vasto menu che celebra i prodotti tipici toscani e la grande cucina italiana. Il servizio è impeccabile, garantisce qualità a prezzi competitivi. Il personale, sia in cucina che in sala, dimostra una competenza eccezionale, con il proprietario Alessandro che accoglie ogni cliente con un sorriso caloroso. Durante la nostra visita, abbiamo deliziato il palato con un antipasto toscano, ricco di salumi, formaggi e bruschette. Come secondo, abbiamo assaporato l'agnello alla griglia, mentre per il dolce abbiamo optato per il delizioso Brownie con crema calda al Moscato e cheesecake ai tre gusti. Sebbene l'antipasto abbia deluso, la varietà dei vini ha compensato ampiamente. Nel complesso, un'esperienza gastronomica appagante che riflette l'impegno per la qualità del ristorante Il Cacciatore.

01/04/2024: Braceria near Cortona, very kind and friendly owner who welcomed us last night with a smile despite a hard day at work Pasquale. We took two cuts of Chianina with really excellent quality pecorino fondue, exceptional grilled potatoes and a tasty grilled onion. Excellent Belgian beer. Original and exquisite tiramisu with cantucci. Honest account. Excellent service both in terms of manner and timing. Wine cellar for connoisseurs to accompany with quality. 29/12/2023: Wonderful experience, if I could I would give it 6 stars. The structure, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and the delicious food are just some of the aspects that allowed us to live a wonderful experience during the 2023 Christmas holidays. What remains in the heart is the warm atmosphere made possible, not only by the special decorations and two always lit fireplaces, but by Andrei, an excellent organizer and wise manager.

24/11/2023: Pleasant overnight stay, 10 minutes by car from the splendid Cortona, which deserves at least two full days of visit. The restaurant was excellent, both meat and fish (the cod was very rich) and a truly excellent variety of wines by the glass, rosé and especially Syrah above all.

24/12/2023: Fantastic. Great views, great food, meats cheeses, fresh produce in season, nicely presented. Not a bad selection of wines. Pretty good coffee and teas, daily pastries , and just and incredible family running a neighborhood shop. Save me a seat! Tom and Renae

11/12/2023: A small bar, simple but very nice, welcoming atmosphere and very kind and helpful staff. I stopped by randomly, I was passing by for a coffee and ammazzacoffe, very nice to sit on the outside tables overlooking the natural landscape.
