Delicious authentic food. The pasta with onions and the steaks are definitely recommended, but also the Panna Cotta and Tiramisu.

Everything was excellent, from the fettuccine with duck ragù to the mixed roasts with potatoes, and the homemade desserts. The atmosphere was informal and welcoming. Highly recommended.

La Bottega di Chiassaia

12/04/2026: Fantastic little store/bottega located in a tiny hamlet. You make your own sandwich (I mean schiacciata) from a list of ingredients . Just so you know: schiacciata is thin and crunchy, slightly oily. Finocchiona, artichokes, caramelized onion, mushroom cream: unbelievably good. Packed with bikers and families with kids. Love the large communal tables outside the steep pavement. They also have a few tables inside.
16/03/2026: A hidden gem: the little places I like. It's a shame it was packed, and then my son's opinion of the schiacciata! Small, hidden, and far away, but we're not ruling out returning!
