Good Tuscan-style appetizer. Tagliatelle was well-seasoned, but the pasta was decidedly sticky. The tagliata was good. The interior was small and noisy when there were customers.

11/05/2026: I discovered this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience: from the location to the food. A 10/10 experience, I highly recommend it.
03/05/2026: Outstanding. The place is quaint, it works perfectly because you don't expect it. The outdoor area with the tables is charming and well-kept. You walk in, go downstairs, and you're amazed by the amount of food on the tables and around the perimeter. Everyone is generally courteous, eager to please, super kind. The welcome is perfect, they always have a smile, and Signora Maria welcomes you like a guest in her home. You eat quality food; the meat is chosen on the spot, you think about it, you look at it, it becomes yours even before it's cooked. You can ask for whatever you want, and the answer will always be prompt. The first courses are fabulous; the classic Tuscan ragù is the one that manages to give you the best balance; you can distinguish all the flavors, but none overpowers the other; in every bite, you taste the nuances of the wine, the seasonings, and the meat.

03/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic!! We're going there again tomorrow
24/05/2026: We had lunch at "Il Preludio" and had a truly wonderful time: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and excellent flavors. The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the meal, making us feel welcomed right away. A special thanks also to the owner, who was so thoughtful about our one-year-old daughter, Vittoria, bringing her toys to keep her entertained and even disinfecting them before giving them to her. A simple gesture that demonstrates great care, sensitivity, and attention to families with small children. A very positive experience, we'll definitely be back!
