08/06/2026: I came here yesterday with my brother-in-law (I live in Rome) for some takeout pizza. The place is really beautiful, in my opinion, elegant and welcoming. Next time I come back, I'll try the local dishes too.
The pizzas are delicious, just the way I like them. I had a very simple Margherita, and it was delicious.
The owner was really kind and nice, entertaining us while we waited for our pizzas.
I can't wait to go back.
05/06/2026: We went for dinner and the welcome was fantastic; it really felt like we'd known each other forever. A warm and authentic atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease.
We started with the suckling pig, which was simply heaven on earth, then the meatballs, incredibly flavorful and made just like in the old days, and finally, the cremino sauce was a heavenly finale.
I travel every day for work and am fortunate enough to savor dishes from every Italian restaurant, but for us, La Toscanissima today was a true journey into the flavors of yesteryear—the authentic, intense, and unforgettable ones.

09/06/2026: By far the best seafood we ate during our stay in Italy and throughout Tuscany. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. It's clear the cuisine is based on high-quality ingredients and attention to detail.
The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere made you want to linger. If you're looking for truly exceptional seafood, this is definitely worth a visit.
One of those restaurants that you'll remember for a long time and want to return to again and again.

The food is always excellent: the pork shank with potatoes is amazing, the beer is excellent, and the appetizers and pizza are also excellent!
The owner is kind, welcoming, and always available.
For me, it's truly the best in Casentino.

29/04/2026: Deliciously executed food with great professional service. Went in on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and was able to grab a table. Possible that the fried calamari and prawns could have been enhanced with a citrus aioli to cut through the fried food but nevertheless was great.

The welcome is superb, the staff are friendly and passionate. And the food... amazing dishes, simple yet perfect. You can tell there's a love for the area behind it. 22/03/2026: I went to this place because I asked for information on where to eat a good pizza in San Sepolcro and they told me to go here. Pulcinella's secret is a small but welcoming place, like the good and friendly owner. I ate the real Neapolitan pizza that I had been missing for a long time. It's really special. Mainly the pizza is takeaway but inside there are three tables where you can eat on the spot. Everything is really special. Well done 10+👍 I forgot to say that the wallet pizzas are a delight😋

01/02/2026: As far as I'm concerned, pizza is only Neapolitan, but I have to be honest, it made me rediscover the pleasure of Tuscan pizza; truly delicious, very digestible, top-quality ingredients, extremely welcoming and polite staff. As soon as we arrived, they brought us a sort of appetizer (as a courtesy to guests), which was very, very, very welcome and delicious. The baked goods were amazing... the cleanliness was excellent... The price was more than fair.

04/12/2025: A simple, informal atmosphere where you feel right at home. People come for pizza. There's a limited choice of starters and no main courses, as this is a renowned bakery that has adapted to serving pizza at table service in the evenings.
There are appetizers, though, and the owners offer a small welcome selection of savory appetizers, followed by desserts at the end of the meal. The pizza is thin, in keeping with local tradition, and in my opinion, good. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent.
If you want to spend a pleasant evening at a truly reasonable price, this place is ideal.

01/06/2026: Six of us dined for lunch, having booked an hour in advance on a Sunday. We kindly asked for quick service because we had an engagement after lunch and were pressed for time. To make things easier, we ordered six identical dishes.
We were served quickly, and the wild boar pici were delicious. Total price was €84 with two or three bottles of water and coffee.
It's a shame we couldn't stay longer.
16/05/2026: The owners and staff are welcoming. The menu offers a good selection. Everything is delicious, from the homemade pasta dishes to the pizza, which is very easy to digest and flavorful. Generous portions. Highly recommended.
